What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience with both training and senior care. I trained my own dog, who is now 12 years old, and I currently care for him as he experiences arthritis. This has taught me how to recognize signs of discomfort, adjust activity levels, and provide daily massages to keep him comfortable. I understand that not every dog needs long walks, and I prioritize each pet’s individual needs, safety, and well-being.

Saskia was so great with my 85lb dog Ollie! She took him on multiple walks and sent frequent updates with lots of great pictures. She was very accommodating when I had to drop him off at 5:30am for work. Even during my stressful week, she gave me peace of mind that Ollie would be well taken care of.
Saskia was Amazing. She communicated throughout the entire trip and sent me Wonderful pictures everyday. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and will be looking forward to having her take care of our dog in the future.
Saskia was great with ellie. Ellie walked over 4 miles with her and kept me informed with many pictures throughout her stay. I would recommend Saskia to a friend.
Saskia was amazing. She did a superb job caring for our three large active dogs in our home. She agreed to stay on short notice after our regular sitter broke her leg, and came by to meet the dogs prior to her stay. She sent regular updates and photos. When she stopped by to pick up something she had forgotten, it was obvious that the dogs already missed her and that she loved them. We will definitely have her stay again when we need a pet sitter.
Saskia took excellent care of our dog while we were out of town for a week. We received daily pictures and updates. Saskia was great at reaching out and addressing any concerns promptly. We were thrilled with her care of our energetic pup and will not hesitate to book again. Thanks!
Saskia was an amazing sitter for our 2 fur babies! They took to her the first time they met her, so we knew they would be in good hands. We had Saskia sit for us, bring them to our wedding reception for photos, and stay overnight. She took such good care of our dogs and we were more than pleased with her care!

Schedule
I’m currently a senior in college, which gives me a bit more flexibility in my schedule, and I truly enjoy spending that time caring for pets. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or extended care, I’m able to plan my days around pets and give them the attention and consistency they need.

I live in an off-campus house with a front yard that does not open onto a busy street, which helps provide a safe and calm environment for pets. The house is spacious, allowing pets to move around comfortably and have their own space to relax. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I’m very attentive and focused on making sure they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. I take time to build trust, follow routines closely, and make sure pets feel safe and happy in my presence.

A typical day
A typical day with pets includes a balance of physical activity, mental stimulation, and downtime. Depending on the pet’s age and energy level, we’ll go on walks to explore new smells, play games, or enjoy structured playtime. I always adjust activities to fit each pet’s needs, whether that means longer walks for high-energy dogs or gentler movement and enrichment for senior pets. I also make sure there’s plenty of time for rest, comfort, and affection.
