With a beautiful, safe home out in the country, a deck and fenced in yard where he could play, a open-plan house where he was visible at all times, Laura’s place was perfect. And the bonus: three little girls who adored him and lavished attention upon him, much to his delight. Laura, herself, was wonderful, caring, professional, delightful. She took him on long walks which he loved, texted me photos and updates on this progress during the stay, saw to his every need and even made some recommendations to me as to feeding bowls which might slow his eating down (he snarfs up his food in seconds!). I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. But I think he knows he can go back and stay in this home away from home which he will definitely be doing the next time I need to go away without him. About: I've lived with and taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. Starting off in apartments where they needed to be walked. I've had my own dogs for the past 16 years. From puppies to seniors on daily medications, I've taken care of it all with my own doggos. We recently lost our doggy siblings, Tegan and Sara in May and July 2022 at 15.5 years old. We currently have a 6 month old rescue named Oswald. I love all dogs! I do not breed discriminate! I live on 3/4 of an acre with a 5' chain link fence surrounding the back yard. I also work from home, so I'm always here. With your permission, I may even take your pups on adventures while in my care! We do have a cat, but she owns the 2nd floor of our house (2 spare bedrooms), so it will not affect your pups stay as we will stay on the first floor. I work from home 9-5:30 M-F. Your baby will get to go out whenever needed in my fenced yard and I will give them love in small breaks during my own work day. They will not spend their days in a crate as I am here to keep an eye on them. I have a fenced yard. I do have a very dog and person friendly pup of my own who will be happy to play with your pup, too, as his favorite place is the dog park. We have few stairs that need to be climbed, 1-3 off our deck (we have a few entrances on the deck) that can be adjusted by closing deck doors as needed for seniors.
