“We LOVED having our miniature dachshund, Noelle, stay with Dawn! The dogs have a large, fenced lawn to roam around in. Noelle didn't even notice we were leaving because she was having so much fun sniffing and exploring. Dawn is very knowledgeable about dogs, their behaviors, and their needs. She has a pack of her own dogs, and she slowly lets them out so they can get to know your dog. She keeps some dogs away from others when she knows there may be an issue (for example, she kept a dog who was on medication away from the others so no one would pass infections or eat feces). I am confident that she would never put her dogs or your dog in a bad situation. Dawn also kept us well informed of the happenings each day, sending us pictures to prove how well Noelle was doing. It was helpful to have some peace of mind and know that our dog slept through the night, ate everything, and was acting normally (which she NEVER does in a kennel!). I will no longer be taking my dog to the Petsmart Pet Hotels, I will exclusively be using Rover thanks to our awesome caregiver Dawn! About: I’m pretty much a full-time stay-at-home dog mom to my two large dogs, so caring for dogs is already a huge part of my everyday life! I’ve spent months working on training with my own dogs and have lots of hands-on experience with different behaviors, routines, and personalities. I’m especially comfortable with large breeds, but I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. Your pup will be treated like part of the family while staying with me, with plenty of attention, playtime, love, and access to my fully fenced-in yard. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with someone new, so I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and keep you updated with plenty of pictures throughout their stay! Pet care is already a huge part of my everyday routine! I’m home most of the day with my own pets and have a very flexible work schedule, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m able to provide plenty of potty breaks, playtime, attention, meals on their normal schedule, and lots of time outside throughout the day. I have a fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to play and two dogs of my own for company. I always prioritize safe introductions and will make sure your dog is comfortable with mine before their stay. Pets are welcome to make themselves at home, and I can easily separate or crate dogs when needed. I’ll follow your pet’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, and care routine as closely as possible and provide plenty of updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I love animals! This past January-March, I volunteered at a small family farm in France! I took care of 1 horse, 1 shetland, 2 chickens, 5 goats, 1 sheep, 2 cats and 3 dogs. I have had dogs all of my life of various sizes and personalities (I’ve had a brittany spaniel, doberman, and now have two rescues; a pit bull/boxer and a boston terrier). I grew up working on a farm so I have been with animals all of my life! I am the biggest animal lover, especially dogs! I have walked and house sit other dogs before and am very comfortable with any type of dog! I will be their new best friend :) I work some days out of the week but can adjust my schedule as needed. I am usually very free in the afternoons every day. As I live at home with my two dogs, I will not be able to care for pets in my home. However, I find that pets do best in their own environments so I can do just that!
