He won the nervous pup over within a day- and the photos with the happy wagging tail proved her allegiance had shifted. It was our longest trip away from the pets, but John made it easy for us with his updates. He even let us know when it looked like the pups were running out of a supplement we had just started giving them. We arrived home to 2 happy dogs and 1 ambivalent cat, all clearly well-fed and taken care of. We have already have asked John to watch the pets again next April. About: Hi there! So nice to “meet” you! I am a highly responsible and skilled pet owner and would be grateful to share the love with your pets! I have been pet sitting and farm sitting for over a decade. I’m a lifetime horse girl and am comfortable sitting for any type of animal, including horse, donkey, chameleon, bunny, etc.! I am trained in first-aid and competed nationally in 4H competitions with a focus in animal care. I personally have a special needs cat and a geriatric dog, so custom routines don’t phase me! We have plenty of those in this home - lol! I am a graduate degree holder with an excellent work history. I aim to offer your pet the best care and I come with integrity, responsibility, and love. After a recent career change, I find myself with a far more flexible work schedule! I am currently working in childcare and homecare for one family here in CT. I do not have children of my own, so I do not need to build school drop offs/pick ups into my petsitting schedule. I live in New London but am able to commute! I have reliable transportation of my own, so getting to my destination is no issue whatsoever. I am currently working on obtaining my PhD online during the evenings, so I am available to spend infinite cuddle time in the evenings! Overall I am extremely flexible. Boarding at my home is not an option at this time as I have strict landlords. I have pet/farmsat in various settings. Some owners have had fenced yards and some have lived in cities where walks are mandatory for potty breaks. The setting doesn’t bother me, I can work with the owner on setting a schedule for the pet.

About: I'll be honest, I am doing this because I need extra money. But I want to make extra money spending time with your pets because I love being around animals and I want to spend actual time with them giving them love, exercise, and a good time. I am able to spend actual time with them as I am a teacher and do not work during the summer. Animals deserve to be shown affection as much as possible throughout the day especially when a lot of their time is spent waiting for owners to come home. Don't let your pets wait around for you, give them someone to hangout with in the meantime! I love taking dogs on walks and hikes! I know how important it is for animals to be cared for meaning being fed, bathed, and given a good rubbin. If you have any questions, feel free to ask (: I am a teacher on summer break so I am fully available for your pets! I love to take them for walks and play with them. I care for pets by taking them for walks and to the bathroom based on their schedule at home. I love to play with dogs and give them rubs. I love making new dog friends.

I now currently watch my family’s pets for them as well as have my own dog and cats. I can come in at most 5 times a day to check on your pet or I can walk your dog throughout the day. About: I have loved and cared for all kinds of animals since I was young. Having every animal from cats to dogs, birds and guinea pigs, hamsters, snakes, lizards, turtles, and birds! About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Available to do drop-ins at your home within 45 mins of Montville - please message me at least one week before your trip to solidify the booking! One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!
