3. Anna F.

“I am thrilled to have found Anna! She watched my puppy for an overnight stay and it was a great experience. Anna ensured she understood and followed all of my directions and checklists! Even though I am an over protective dog mom, Anna never made me feel over the top or like an inconvenience. She sent me photos and always asked questions if she had them! I am so excited I have found Anna and hope she can be my puppy’s primary dog sitter long term!”

4. Zoe M.

5. Jennifer P.

6. kathryn s.
“I have worked with Kathryn for 2 years and have built a relationship with her outside of work as well. Kathryn has always had a passion for animals and took very good care of her own cat, I remember being at work and she would check in on her cat through the camera she set up for her. She would also go back to her house in Norwich from Foxwoods during her lunch break to check in on her cat. Kathryn currently works for All Bright Canines and is with animals on a daily base. She is in college as well online, very well rounded. I trust Kathryn to take care of my animals and she is going to be taking care of my two dogs when I go away on vacation!”

7. Terry S.

“Let me start by saying I have always love to travel, but haven’t done much of that in the past couple years. I haven’t traveled because I have been too nervous, leaving my dog in a kennel or with a sitter. A friend suggested I check out Rover to find an in home sitter. I was very skeptical. I picked Terry because she had so many great reviews and repeat customers. We had a meet and greet with the dog and I immediately felt comfortable with her. I decided she was a good fit but still was super nervous about leaving my baby with her. She calmed my nerves through the whole trip. Terry listened to my concerns and needs and took them seriously. Terry sent numerous pictures of my girl. She sent updates and pictures all day long and always let me know when she was leaving my home and when she would return. When I returned home from my trip I expected my dog to overly excited to see us and to my surprise it was just as if I had left her and went to work. That tells me that she felt loved, safe and cared for while I was gone. Which is exactly what I wanted. I am excited to be able to travel again now that I have a trustworthy reliable sitter. I will definitely be using Terry again.”

8. Emily D.

“Emily did a great job taking care of our 5 pets! They require some specialized care and she had no trouble doing everything we asked of her! She was also just super nice, left the house clean, and sent us lots of pictures and updates while we were away. We would definitely hire her again!”

9. Ashley P.

“Ashley was punctual, communicative and followed my instructions when watching my 7 month old puppy. I look forward to adding Ashley into my rotation of regular dog sitters!”

10. Izabel & Zachary G.

“They stayed and played with Luna plenty of time each day, sent us pictures and checked in each visit. They bought treats for her for when we got back and just did a great job. They really cared about Luna and enjoyed spending time with her. I would highly recommend and use their services again!”

11. Jennifer C.
“Hello all. I am a cousin of Jennifer and would like to write about the experience of having her take care of my 8yr old blue-nose pit. Jenn stayed in my home for 5 nights while I was in Maine. I saw them outside all throughout the day running around together and leaving the property for rides like I asked of Jenn. I gained much respect for her and am glad I have someone in my family I can really depend on if I ever need help with My fur-babies.”

12. Leo Anthony E.
About: I have lived with a dog in my family for as long as I can remember. I have had three dogs (Cherry and Dutty) and am currently petsitting my sister's dog (Thor) on weekday mornings. Thor used to live with me and my family but my sister has recently moved out. I love being around dogs because they show you so much affection without speaking. I always look forward to taking care of my sister's dog. I walk Thor around my neighborhood so he can get some exercise and lead a long healthy life. My sister went to the vet for a check-up and told her he has lost three pounds since I started walking him more :). I also bathe Thor on a monthly basis. My past dog, Dutty, was a smaller dog but I took care of him with the basics such as walking, baths, etc. I was still in my child/adolescent years when Dutty was around. I also have four guinea pigs with two being male (Coconut and Milo) and the other two being female (Peanut and Peanut Jr.). Peanut Jr. is the daughter of Peanut and Milo. Having four guinea pigs is not easy but it has helped tremendously with taking care of dogs. I would say it has made taking care of dogs much easier! I am currently free for most of the week. If you ask for a schedule that I can't attend to, I will let you know. Opening right now are mornings - 10 AM and 2PM -evenings. Every day on a weekday, my sister drops off Thor in the morning at our house. Usually, Thor has already been taken out before my sister drops her off but I take him out if that isn't the case. He is also fed in the morning. Thor seems to be very picky with his food so I have to mix up wet food with his dry food. After this, I leave Thor with my mother so I can feed my guinea pigs and clean their cage. They are in a locked room that Thor can't access for their safety. I try to give Thor as much attention as he likes to cuddle and also be around someone. Even when he is sleeping, he prefers that someone is in the same room with him. Sometimes, I have to watch my nephew for a bit because my mother babysits him while my brother and sister-in-law are at work. Thor is usually happy being around my nephew so it all works out! I make sure Thor isn't rummaging through garbage and pick up anything on the floor that is toxic. Since Thor sheds constantly, I always have to clean the floor to keep the house tidy. I try to walk Thor every three hours and I also would go to my backyard to play with him so he can get some sun.

13. Savannah S.

“Savannah was wonderful, I would highly recommend her to watch your pet. She always quickly responded to me and sent pictures of my pet to let me know they were comfortable and happy staying at home. I will definitely use her services again without hesitation.”

14. Emily M.

“Emily was AWESOME. Very communicative upfront and during her stay watching Koby. I came back from vacation to a happy dog and a perfect house. Will 100% rebook the next time I vacation.”

15. Sara M.

“She was awesome she left a little report card for our pups that included how they were and what to improve for them.I felt better knowing she was there with my babies while I was away for a family trip. So much better than boarding. Will being using this service again for sure!!”

16. Katerina P.

“Katie has a great deal of patience with walking g dogs/ she takes treats and gets obedience at tbd forefront. Never being pushy or rough with a dog of cat did that matter.”

17. Sophie W.

“Sophie was the best. I was in CT for my brother’s wedding with THREE puppies, 10, 15 and 20 weeks old. All puppy parents were in the wedding and we needed someone to watch them for the day/night so we could focus on the bride and groom. Sophie not only entertained them, made sure there were minimal accidents, and kept them from killing each other (not an easy task) but she also got the puppy ring bearer to his spot at the perfect time. She sent us pictures throughout the night, and I never felt like I needed to check in on them, she was proactively letting me know how it was going. I wish I lived in the area so she could stay with him all the time! I would definitely recommend Sophie for any pups!”

18. Shelby S.
About: Hey there! I’ve been around animals my whole life: 15+ years of living with and caring for pets of all kinds. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or the occasional small critter, having pets in the home has always just been part of who I am. Friends, family, and coworkers have trusted me for years to look after their pets (and their homes!) because they know I’m reliable, responsible, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with everything from long walks to giving meds, keeping routines consistent, and making sure your home stays just as you left it. Whether you're heading out for a weekend or a longer trip, I’ve got you covered with lots of love, care, and updates along the way! I work a 9-5 with some flexibility in hours as well as remote work, so my schedule has a bit of adaptability if necessary. I’m not able to board pets at my residence but I am available for weekends and overnights to stay with pets in their own safe environment! My priority is respecting your space and how you run your home, as well as your pet’s existing routine! Minimizing as much stress as possible while you’re away, I make sure their feedings, walks, and playtime are consistent with what your pet is familiar with (with some extra cuddles and belly rubs as needed).
