“Nastia was excellent! She had great questions during our meet and greet that showed me how contentious she is. She was a great communicator before and during the visit. She had a minor issue come up with my dogs and she immediately called me to discuss it. I was grateful that she reached out. The call and how she managed the issue made me really trust her judgement and professionalism. I’m so glad we found her and we will certainly use her again.”

“I highly recommend Zoe! She did an excellent job taking care of my pet. She was responsible, attentive, and very caring. I truly appreciate her dedication and would definitely trust her again.”

“it was our pleasure to have Francis watch our pups! She was communicative, kind, and responsible in all dog watching duties! Look forward to having her again!”

About: I volunteered so much the guy who ran the shelter told me I need more human friends 😅😂 I jog twice a day, once in the morning and right before sunset, and would love to bring your furry friend along with me! I don’t have my own pets so your dog will have all of my attention. Volunteering at an animal shelter for 5 years taught me so much about different breeds. The main thing I learned is that every dog is just as unique as every human. Their like kids, you need to earn their trust and when you do it’s super rewarding. Message me with ANY questions I work from home and have a super flexible schedule. So our required meet and greet can be at your earliest convenience and will only take 5-15 minutes.

About: I have always been an animal lover, having multiple cats, dogs, chickens and taking care of the animals on my aunt’s farm since I was a child. I work at a doggy daycare which has enhanced my knowledge of different breeds energy levels, mannerisms and needs as they grow older. I would love to give your furry kids all the fun, love and care they would otherwise miss while you are away! I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of time to give your furry kids lots of love and attention! I’m available on the weekends, mornings 7-11am and at night after 6:30pm and offer overnight care everyday. I will follow any instructions or suggestions you give me and always respect your home. If you have a fenced in yard I will let your kids run wild, if not, I will happily take them on a 30 min walk minimum and play with them lots afterward so they get a good exercise! I will give them lots if attention and kisses and send you pictures of them living their best life!

“Anna was very communicative before and during our booking. She sent both photos and videos, which were very much appreciated. We had an issue with our house while Anna was dropping in, and she was very helpful while we were stressing out.”

About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. I will stay at your home if needed , schedule potty break services as well. I work at an elementary school so let out before I go to work and right after, evenings and bed time. I will take care of pets in clients home with care plan that fits the pets needs. Give them plenty of attention and care to take away any worries when you are away.

“Ashley helped me out on relatively short notice with my new rescue when I had to go away for a night. She kept a watchful eye on him and made sure not to keep him from starting any of his naughty habits. She sent lots of pics throughout the night and made me feel better about leaving my guy for a night.”

“Second time using Terry and I am very impressed and happy with her service. She is great with my pups and cats and takes such wonderful care of them. Terry is reliable, respectful and very responsible. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone that truly loves their pets and is looking for great care!!”

About: I have been a dog sitter before, I walk them often and feed them according to the instruction I receive from the owners. I have a high level of patience with dogs, consider myself an animal lover, and love to give them loads of attention. I'm great caring for any breed of dogs whether they are puppies or adult dogs. I can keep you updated on how they behave often. They will be in smoke free and clean environment with plenty of toys. I also have my own dogs, (sadly they do not live with me right now) so I know how important they are to you. I will adjust to their level of energy and will also play along with them when they get the zoomies. Hello! I am excited to take care of your pets. I am currently taking a break from my 9-5 job. I own 3 chickens, 2 dogs, 2 geico, and 4 cats back in Texas although I have been taking care of my sister’s 4 cats for the past month in Connecticut. I am very good at maintaining a clean space and very responsible with taking care of chickens, dogs, cats, and reptiles. I am able to send constant pictures and like to stay active with walks or runs to the park. Hablo español y inglés. I am currently living with my brother and his 4 cats for the next few months so I am usually the one that feeds them in the mornings and evenings. I also have experience fostering dogs/cats from the shelter. I also clean out their box and make sure the give the older boy his medicine.

About: I have been house sitting overnight since I was 14. I have experience working with dogs, cats, mice, and flying squirrels. Believe it or not, I have taken care of dogs who were indoor-trained only.I am also an experienced dog walker- not just with my own dogs but with friends' dogs that I've loved as my own. I will be working part time over the summer (8-12 Monday-Thursday) so I will have afternoons and nights available during the week. I also have most weekends free. I abide by the safety precautions at the homes I stay at (fences, ring cameras, etc). When I stay with indoor cats, I take extra precautions when leaving the house to make sure the cats don't escape.

“Emily did a great job taking care of our 5 pets! They require some specialized care and she had no trouble doing everything we asked of her! She was also just super nice, left the house clean, and sent us lots of pictures and updates while we were away. We would definitely hire her again!”

About: I have lived with a dog in my family for as long as I can remember. I have had three dogs (Cherry and Dutty) and am currently petsitting my sister's dog (Thor) on weekday mornings. Thor used to live with me and my family but my sister has recently moved out. I love being around dogs because they show you so much affection without speaking. I always look forward to taking care of my sister's dog. I walk Thor around my neighborhood so he can get some exercise and lead a long healthy life. My sister went to the vet for a check-up and told her he has lost three pounds since I started walking him more :). I also bathe Thor on a monthly basis. My past dog, Dutty, was a smaller dog but I took care of him with the basics such as walking, baths, etc. I was still in my child/adolescent years when Dutty was around. I also have four guinea pigs with two being male (Coconut and Milo) and the other two being female (Peanut and Peanut Jr.). Peanut Jr. is the daughter of Peanut and Milo. Having four guinea pigs is not easy but it has helped tremendously with taking care of dogs. I would say it has made taking care of dogs much easier! I am currently free for most of the week. If you ask for a schedule that I can't attend to, I will let you know. Opening right now are mornings - 10 AM and 2PM -evenings. Every day on a weekday, my sister drops off Thor in the morning at our house. Usually, Thor has already been taken out before my sister drops her off but I take him out if that isn't the case. He is also fed in the morning. Thor seems to be very picky with his food so I have to mix up wet food with his dry food. After this, I leave Thor with my mother so I can feed my guinea pigs and clean their cage. They are in a locked room that Thor can't access for their safety. I try to give Thor as much attention as he likes to cuddle and also be around someone. Even when he is sleeping, he prefers that someone is in the same room with him. Sometimes, I have to watch my nephew for a bit because my mother babysits him while my brother and sister-in-law are at work. Thor is usually happy being around my nephew so it all works out! I make sure Thor isn't rummaging through garbage and pick up anything on the floor that is toxic. Since Thor sheds constantly, I always have to clean the floor to keep the house tidy. I try to walk Thor every three hours and I also would go to my backyard to play with him so he can get some sun.

“My wife and I were recently in a bind. We had booked travel to Italy, with the plan of having our parents house-sit for us while we were gone. Those plans fell through, and we first considered a kennel for our dog Brutus, and our two cats. The problem with that was firstly, it was super expensive and secondly we were going to be gone for nearly three weeks and didn't like the idea of Brutus being in a cage for so long. We stumbled upon Rover.com where we were lucky enough to find Tara. Although we were a little wary of someone we didn't know watching our beloved pets and watching our home, the first meeting with Tara really put us at ease. She explained her schedule, told us of her experience and even made recommendations on what to leave in case of emergencies. While we were out of the country Tara kept us in the loop of everything that was going on, even when our cat scratched the dog on the nose (aww.). She sent pictures regularly and was wonderful through the whole process. All of that and her prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Tara to anyone looking for a pet-sitter or house-sitter and will certainly use her the next time I go out of town!”

“So happy to have found Tabitha!! I’m always so hesitant to leave my pup since he has epilepsy and requires medication, but everything went smooth! I was worry-free on my vacation and will definitely be rebooking.”

“They stayed and played with Luna plenty of time each day, sent us pictures and checked in each visit. They bought treats for her for when we got back and just did a great job. They really cared about Luna and enjoyed spending time with her. I would highly recommend and use their services again!”

“I have two cats that get very upset when I'm away, but Emma took care of them like they were her own and they were two happy boys when I got back. So grateful for the care and thought she put into our boys and our home”

“Julia was a wonderful dog sitter for our two dogs - super communicative and we didn't need to worry about them at all while we were away. She was also the perfect house guest and took great care of our home while staying. Would highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for someone to take care of their dogs!”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and cared for dogs of different breeds. From wonderful 13lb Boston terriers, 60lb American Staffordshire Terriers, and silly energetic huskies. I am also a lover of low energy seniors that need couch cuddles after walking in the yard. I have raised my own dogs as well and would love helping with keeping your puppy on schedule while you’re needing pet care. I work full time but I am free all afternoons, evenings, and I have open availability on weekends. I am excited to offer walks and drop in care. I’m highly organized in my personal life so when it comes to caring for your pet I would follow your instructions and preferences without hiccups. I own my home and even though I do not have a fenced yard…I have grass for outside walks and I have a gated deck for calm, relaxing time as well. I’m comfortable with giving medications and nanny-cams.

“Great experience with Matt! He watched out dog, Stella, for us while we were visiting Mammoth and was super reliable, flexible and very sweet with our dog. Highly recommend Matt if you’re in Mammoth!”

Kathryn has always had a passion for animals and took very good care of her own cat, I remember being at work and she would check in on her cat through the camera she set up for her. She would also go back to her house in Norwich from Foxwoods during her lunch break to check in on her cat. Kathryn currently works for All Bright Canines and is with animals on a daily base. She is in college as well online, very well rounded. I trust Kathryn to take care of my animals and she is going to be taking care of my two dogs when I go away on vacation!”
