“Julia was a great communicator and took great care of Chloe and our home. The place was spotless and Chloe was very ticketed out from all the attention!!!”
“Grace has been helping us with our pets for over 6 years. She is always attentive to detail, ensuring that our pets receive meals, meds and loving visits while we're away. She has helped us with day coverage as well as long-term overnight coverage. She keeps us informed about how the pets are doing, sends us texts with photos, and ensures we receive a warm welcome when we arrive back at home. She communicates clearly with us about availability, and we appreciate her help immensely!”
“Terry stayed in our home with Rocky for almost two weeks and was extremely gracious when, due to travel complications , we arrived home at around 4AM! Our home and precious pooch were extremely well cared for. We highly recommend her!”
“What a wonderful experience it was to hire Tabitha to take care of our fur baby! She was thoughtful and caring with every question and action, took the time to make sure she knew them well and has a great energy about her. Can't wait to see her again!”
“Kiara was absolutely amazing! She constantly sent pictures and updates of my fur babies and I did not worry or stress once! I will always use her for every trip. I couldn't ask for a better pet sitter and I highly recommend her!! 10/10 stars!”
About: I have been taking care of animals for the last 8 years. I’ve had animals in my life since the time I was born. Currently, I have two animals in my household. A black lab named Manny and a cat named Henry. Both are wonderful and wouldn’t trade them for the world. If you need help house sitting or even letting them out, I’d be happy to help. I can be able to care of the animals any time during the weekends. Week days I can do anytime after 3pm for a drop in or house sitting. I can be able to let the dogs outside in the yard or for a walk. I am able to play with them. For food schedules, I’ll feed and give them water and of course treats. For cats, I can feed and give them water while changing the cat litter when needed.
About: Growing up we always had dogs and cats in our home. Once turned adult I was always the go to dog/cat/house sitter. I’m retired LEO and have a lot of time on my hands to share with my pup and yours! I’m currently retired and have no fixed schedule at the moment. My husband is only off Sunday and Monday and would prefer not to work while he’s off but am willing to compromise! I do live in an apartment but have a walking trail just 7 minutes away that my pup loves. Plus the complex is pet and walk friendly.
“Phoebe was great. She was very attentive to the needs of my Yorkie Lola. She sent many pictures of them walking and playing. I was very satisfied having Phoebe house sit for me and I plan on using her again.”
“I strongly recommend Brianna! She is a wonderful young lady who’s heart is set with taking care of all animals. She has plenty of experience as she has grown up with cats, dogs, and she’s lived on a farm with farm animals too! She’s had reptiles and fish in her life as well. She’s so gentle with animals and always give them love. She seems to be a dog whisperer too, as all dogs she meets falls in love with her while she falls in love with them! If you’re looking for a sitter or a walker, I strongly advise you to at least talk to Brianna about her walking and/or watching your furry friends!”
About: I have been pet sitting for about 7 years now. Mostly dogs and cats but I can do any type of pet including reptiles. I started caring for friends and familys pets but I'd like to reach out and help other people too. I am very trust worthy as I am a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have experience giving medications and taking care of a more high maintenance pet. I can care for any pet with anything they might need. I am currently employed full time at Groton Ledyard Veterinary Hospital as a veterinary technician. I am willing to stay at pet owner's homes. My full time hours are four 10 hour shifts. I can make time to come in between my shift to let pets outside. I would not allow pets to come to my own as I have a cat and its also an apartment complex. But I am fully willing to go to clients homes and stay overnight. I will follow any instructions the owner has for their pet. I would treat their pet how I would want my own pet to be treated.
“Grace was so attentive to our two small dogs; she provided excellent care of them. They were clearly spoiled rotten and played ball a lot while we were gone, they seemed disappointed that their boring human parents were back. We will definitely be calling on Grace in the future.”
“Cayton did a great job taking care of our yellow lab in our home for a week. She sent pics and texts each day and let us know how everything was going. She kept our pup safe and happy while we were away and tried to stick to our schedule. Looking forward to hiring her again!!”
“Margaret took excellent care of our dog. She was attentive, punctual, fun and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Our dog was instantly drawn to her friendly demeanor.”
“Maeve has a great love of pets- especially cats. She does an excellent job of taking care of her 3 fur babies and would totally spoil yours too.”
“Alexis has always been an animal lover and always had animals in her life. She volunteered for a local animal shelter which brought her so much joy. She did anything that needed to be done to help each and every animal. She was particularly fond of and older dog whose owner had died. He would sit looking out the window every day waiting for his owner to return. Alexis always gave him extra attention. She worried he wouldn’t get adopted because most people wanted younger dogs. One day an older women came to the shelter and it was love a first sight when she saw this dog. Alexis was thrilled. She said, “Animals make peoples lives better.” Alexis adopted a rescue Corgi several years ago and recently added a Golden Retriever to her family. They are her much beloved fur babies. She has a way with animals and animals can sense the love and compassion she has for them. She cat sat for a friend and stayed at her house a month at a time. The cat had a special diet and medication. She sent daily updates and pictures. My friend didn’t trust anyone but Alexis to care for her much beloved cat. You can be sure that your animal will get the best possible care and attention with Alexis. She also is an excellent animal trainer and has been called the “animal whisperer.””
“Alyssa was great! Took great care of our pup, Bug. She was very responsive and friendly. Overall 10/10 would definitely use her service again!”

About: I have lived with a dog in my family for as long as I can remember. I have had three dogs (Cherry and Dutty) and am currently petsitting my sister's dog (Thor) on weekday mornings. Thor used to live with me and my family but my sister has recently moved out. I love being around dogs because they show you so much affection without speaking. I always look forward to taking care of my sister's dog. I walk Thor around my neighborhood so he can get some exercise and lead a long healthy life. My sister went to the vet for a check-up and told her he has lost three pounds since I started walking him more :). I also bathe Thor on a monthly basis. My past dog, Dutty, was a smaller dog but I took care of him with the basics such as walking, baths, etc. I was still in my child/adolescent years when Dutty was around. I also have four guinea pigs with two being male (Coconut and Milo) and the other two being female (Peanut and Peanut Jr.). Peanut Jr. is the daughter of Peanut and Milo. Having four guinea pigs is not easy but it has helped tremendously with taking care of dogs. I would say it has made taking care of dogs much easier! I am currently free for most of the week. If you ask for a schedule that I can't attend to, I will let you know. Every day on a weekday, my sister drops off Thor in the morning at our house. Usually, Thor has already been taken out before my sister drops her off but I take him out if that isn't the case. He is also fed in the morning. Thor seems to be very picky with his food so I have to mix up wet food with his dry food. After this, I leave Thor with my mother so I can feed my guinea pigs and clean their cage. They are in a locked room that Thor can't access for their safety. I try to give Thor as much attention as he likes to cuddle and also be around someone. Even when he is sleeping, he prefers that someone is in the same room with him. Sometimes, I have to watch my nephew for a bit because my mother babysits him while my brother and sister-in-law are at work. Thor is usually happy being around my nephew so it all works out! I make sure Thor isn't rummaging through garbage and pick up anything on the floor that is toxic. Since Thor sheds constantly, I always have to clean the floor to keep the house tidy. I try to walk Thor every three hours and I also would go to my backyard to play with him so he can get some sun.
“We usually have our dogs with us when we go away, but have had several occasions when we were unable to take them. John is the only person, outside our family, who we've trusted to stay in our home to take care of our girls. We have been able to relax knowing that our pets are safely at home with someone they love. John is a reliable, caring person, who I would recommend to anyone looking for someone to deliver the kind of care and attention your pet gets from you.”
“Kevin was fantastic at caring for our pup, Joey. Dependable, timely, trustworthy, gave updates. Joey loves Kevin! Kevin always went above and beyond at making sure our pup was well cared for.”
