7. Mackenzie S.
“Got to say…coming home from a weekend away, we had two pooped pups that have given us their emancipation papers – they want to leave us and go live with Mackenzie and her dog Doug! Mackenzie and Doug house sat for us and watched the girls. Both house and dogs were in great shape when we came home – and the dogs were pooped! We received updates throughout the weekend which kept us abreast of the adventures they had – several woods walks, get togethers with other dogs, swimming, etc.! We’ve had some issues in the past with both of ours being overzealous eaters. We’ve tried puzzle bowls and the like, but nothing seemed to slow us down. Mackenzie worked some magic and has shown us some tricks – now dinner takes at least 30 minutes and they aren’t looking for more. She also worked on their behavior when they meet new dogs and people. Very much appreciate Mackenzie’s expertise! We’re already booking her for additional stays.”
8. Annette M.
“Annette was amazing as an overnight pet sitter! She took great care of our pets, provided updates and we returned to a cleaner home than we left. Highly recommend!”

10. Faith L.
“This was our first experience with Faith and we've already booked her again. She took care of our two cats and one dog, one cat being a senior and needing regular medicine and they were all well loved, we had picture updates, the house was clean and pets were happy. My only hesitation in writing is other people will see this review and steal her time! Haha. We are so grateful our fur babies and us have found Faith!”
11. Emma W.
“Emma took great care of our senior dog while we were away. She dispensed meds and looked after the house. Great pet & house sitter!”

About: I have been handling and training dogs at daycares, puppy and adult day schools, and pet stores for over a decade, and I’m currently working on my certification through the Karen Pryor Academy for professional dog trainers. I prioritize safety and the use of positive reinforcement to keep dogs physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy, and I particularly enjoy helping fearful dogs become more calm and confident with clicker training. Right now I’m in the process of writing a business plan for my own company, so my availability is wide open for the time being. I am gentle, but firm and consistent. I use treats and other rewards paired with a marker to reinforce and shape the behaviors I want, and will use ‘time outs” to enforce necessary boundaries. Your dog will not pull me or get away with problem behaviors, but I also make sure not to be scary and spend more time rewarding them when they do well.
13. Sara M.
“Our pup responds so well to Sara. She is professional and communicative. I would recommend her and the services she provides!”
14. Maeve R.
“Maeve was great! Brought Avo to our wedding venue right on time, stayed close to ensure when we were done taking pictures he could go back to our Airbnb. Then feed him snack and put him to sleep. Wonderful service!”
15. Lindsay M.
“Lindsay was amazing with our pup, Nala! Super responsive, communicative, and shared lots of photos and videos throughout the stay. Lindsay was very respectful of our home and left it clean and in great shape. We wouldn't hesitate to have Lindsay come take care of our dog again in the future!”
16. Olivia F.
“Olivia was fantastic with our 8-year-old French Bulldog! She stayed at our house with her the week we were away and provided regular updates and took excellent care of Zoe. She also took great care of our house which was exactly as we had left it. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her! She’s a gem.”
17. Madison L.
“Mady has cared for our 12 year old pup several times over the past few years and has always taken exceptional care of him! She is reliable, caring, and a great communicator- always keeping us updated and sending pictures to put us at ease. Finn loves her and I feel good knowing he is home in a comfortable environment and still getting the TLC he needs. I would highly recommend Mady to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

About: Grown up with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes my whole live. Breeds range from pitties to english mastiffs and straight up mutts! For now, it's me and my fiancé with the love of our life - Tootsie (american shorthair) in an apartment until we have the space to expand our fur family! I've volunteered on and off at animal shelters since middle school and have experience dog sitting for friends and family. I work from home 4 days a week, with one day a week in office in NYC. My day in office varies between Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays - but can easily schedule appointments with little lead time and notice! Working from home give me the freedom to step out on my lunch breaks or use what would have been commuting time to spend taking care of animals. I will always treat any pet as my own. My first priorities are always going to be trust and safety. Keeping an open line of communication is key. Keeping pets where they're most comfortable and relaxed in their home and their neighborhood is ideal vs. bringing pets into my home.
19. Brianna E.
“Briana came to meet my pets and was very conscientious about underpaying their routines, and the cat’s medications. I had to cancel my trip, but I would definitely ask her to petsit again!!”

About: I have been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have had all sorts of dogs of all shapes and sizes throughout my life. I currently own 3 dogs; an Pitbull, Shetland Sheepdog and a Pug. I also own two cats. I have over 4 years experience working and managing a dog kennel at Tippin' Rock Pet Lodge in Groton, CT. I also worked at VCA Turco Animal Hospital as a receptionist/vet tech for 2 years. I used work at Raining Cats and Dogs in Mystic, CT where I would frequently interact with dogs and sometimes cats. I currently work at an orthodontic office Monday-Friday. Typically, my hours are 7:30-5 (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays), 8:45-3 (Tuesdays) and 7:30-4 (Fridays). Sometimes the schedule changes based on the days, but those are the hours I work. I have a 1 hour break as well. I'm available in the late afternoons for walking during the week. On the weekends, I am more flexible with times for walking. If you need me to petsit and stay at your house, I can do that as well! Although I work full time, I will still figure out how to be available and care for the pet I have been entrusted to do so as if they were my own pet. I care for pets that I watch as if they are my own. I ensure there is minimal risk as possible for things to go awry. I’m a very organized person and detail oriented.
