About: Hi, My name is Melissa! I love animals, I have a golden doodle puppy now and grew up always being around various different animals such as: dogs, cats, reptiles, ducks, and chickens. I am definitely no stranger to pets, both typical and exotic! I have 8 years of experience nannying/babysitting, in which time I would frequently care for the families’ various pets. I run a before and after school program at Gallup Hill Elementary so I am available roughly between 9am-2pm and again after 6pm during the week and have open availability on weekends, this gives me the flexibility to make multiple trips for feeding and walking, as well as some time to interact and play with your pet to get their energy out! Having a puppy of my own, I know that our pets are our babies/children. I take the safety of all children in my care very seriously, whether they have 2 legs or 4, and it’s what I’ve done professionally for the past 8+ years in childcare and teaching. About: Lover of all things DOG! Handler/trainer in my profession and very passionate. I have 3 pitbulls at home that I have raised, loved and trained in temperament and manners. I will love your furry family members as I love my own. I can pet sit, pop-in, train, comfort and provide your pet care Monday - Sunday. I request 1 days’ notice for local cancellations, but 3 days notice for cancellations of services that would require travel. I ask that all of my clients give me clear and concise instructions regarding feedings, medicine and potty schedules as I would want your pet to feel as comfortable as they would be if you’d be home. Their comfort is my #1 priority.

About: For each service I'll offer all the attention your pet or pets need to make their days fun, and your's relaxin. I used to take care of my sisters dogs everyday including when she was on vacation. She had about 4 dogs including 8-10 puppies all mixed breed with both Red nose Blue nose Pit/ German Rott. It was a stressful experience at first but then I was able to get the hang of it. My special skills are constantly staying attentive to your pets needs, providing attention at all times, training, feeding and walking. What sets me apart from other sitters and walkers, is that i strongly show and provide full on care for your pets, I'm able to provide full time sitting when needed and I take it seriously because I care. My availability is Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday either Mornings/ or afternoons. If needed I can take requests every other Saturday as I have a 2 year old and my own dog I must also take great care of. I love to play with my dog inside and outside of my home, love taking her for walks, I love training her, we have cuddle time, I love reading to her and just showing her the extreme love that every dog/cat.. pets in general deserve.

About: I grew up around cats and dogs within my own home, other family members houses, & friends. We had a cat of our own until last year when we moved out of CT for a short time and had to sadly re-home him. He’s missed very much! I’ve also house sat pets and walked friends dogs as well. I work part time so I have a lot free time on my hands which makes me very flexible at all hours and time during the week! I care for pets as if they are my own. With all the love and fun that they can take whether they are in my home or I am in theirs!

About: I've taken care of my cat and dog since I was 8. My cat reached the age of 17 and lived the best life. I've boarded over 20 cats who stayed for long period of time in my home and ensured they felt comfortable there. I let them sleep in my bed, and during the day they followed me around the house. They received a ton of attention from me, I can’t resist a cute furry animal! I also boarded over 10 dogs and they got an amazing vacation, just like their owners! I took them to parks, trails, snuggled with them and fed them treats. From March to June, I walked my new best friend Nala, a dog that belongs to my neighbor. I met her in my old neighborhood while both of us were on a walk. I couldn't help but stop and pet Nala, and my neighbor, dog Nala and I became friends. My neighbor mentioned that Nala was home alone twice a week, so I was the first to suggest to watch Nala. Nala had an amazing time, but then I had to move houses, and now I'm far from that lovely neighborhood. The goodbye was hard, but I have left the memories of my neighbor's dog and me laying on the grass and sharing ice cream. I’m looking to make more meaningful connections like that! I spend most of the day at home, and going out to walk the dogs at any time would be wonderful for me and my schedule. The house is big, so your furry baby would have a lot of space. Sleeping on my bed is allowed. If the weather allows, your dog and I will be getting fresh air while sitting in my backyard.
