“Kirsten was fantastic, she did a pre-visit check beforehand and visited our cat early each morning. She sent updates and photos, and let our cat outside to play, just like she’s used to. We would recommend Kirsten and would definitely book her again.”

“Faith is quite possibly the best pet sitter of all time! I forgot to leave my pets stuff out as usual and had to improvise, she is always helpful and always takes great care of my dog while I'm away”

“Terry is a wonderful caregiver and we are so grateful whenever she watches our pup that we can be. Away and know our up is being well taken care of - receiving lots of love and attention.”

“If I could give a 1000 stars I would!!! Torie was absolutely a gem. It was last minute and she truly is Mrs Dolittle. Willow our dachshund had such an amazing time. And went right to Torie i know he felt loved because, the pictures really tell a story. Thank you soo much Torie for loving him the way we do. We will be forever thankful to you. Love Willow and his family.”

About: I have been house sitting overnight since I was 14. I have experience working with dogs, cats, mice, and flying squirrels. Believe it or not, I have taken care of dogs who were indoor-trained only.I am also an experienced dog walker- not just with my own dogs but with friends' dogs that I've loved as my own. **serious inquiries only** please do not send me a booking request if you're going to ghost me after I respond or if you plan to book with another sitter. You'd be surprised by how often this happens. I abide by the safety precautions at the homes I stay at (fences, ring cameras, etc). When I stay with indoor cats, I take extra precautions when leaving the house to make sure the cats don't escape.
“I was so nice and so easy to work with. She came over and met her dog and took really good care of her and took her on some nice walks. I would recommend her services for a dog walking and watching”

About: I have been cat and dog sitting for my family since I was able to be left alone in a house and have grown up around dogs and cats. I now currently watch my family’s pets for them as well as have my own dog and cats. I can come in at most 5 times a day to check on your pet or I can walk your dog throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule so I can be free frequently throughout the day. I have tons of experience with many different types of dogs from small dogs to larger dogs. I will ask questions if I need to but am very familiar with pet care.
“Anna is fantastic! She went above and beyond taking care of our cat sushi and making sure he was well taken care of. He took a liking to her straight away. She truly has done a wonderful job. I would recommend Anna to anyone! We have definitely found our new cat sitter!”

“Angelle was great with my dog as I could tell in the photos she sent. She was also very good about communicating with me. Thanks for the good care and piece of mind we had while we were away!”

“Heather was wonderful for my senior kitty when I had to leave town for a few days. She was very communicative, sent lots of pics, made sure he ate, cleaned his litter box, and gave him lots of love every time she came over. He’s a sensitive old man now and I felt so much better knowing he was getting loved on while I was away. I’ll definitely be using Heather’s services again!”

“Eva was amazing. I think I need a visitation agreement for her to share custody of Brandit. He loves her! Even my extremely timid little girl could not get enough snuggles with her.”

“It's the first time I have used Danielle services and I am very grateful to her. She kept my little guy safe, happy, healthy and well played out while I was gone. She sent me detailed reports and photos each visit that helped bridge that distance of me being so far away so I worried less about him while I was away. She went out of her way to be sure he was taken care of and could tell he was enjoying her visits and was still that little happy guy when I returned!)”

“Ashley is so amazing! She is great with sending pictures and updates on my cats and she takes the time to give them love and attention, which is much appreciated while I’m away! Highly recommend”

The median cost per visit for cat sitting in Waterford is $25
Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Waterford
Wonderful pet sitter! I can tell Danielle loves animals, she writes thorough pet diaries after each visit and sends loads of photos. Danielle immediately asked for a meet and greet, she’s really flexible and lovely to communicate with. Rana loved spending time with her, and was really well cared for while we were away. I’m sad we’re moving back to the UK as we won’t be able to ask Danielle to look after Rana again, but I have recommended her to my friend who also has a cat. 🐈

I have had Dawn watch my Churchy twice now and each time she has been absolutely incredible. I will be using Dawn for all of my trips, especially with my boys special diet. Her understanding and willingness to love my boy as much as I do is outstanding! Thanks Dawn, until next time 🫶🏻

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Waterford. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
