I am a part time caregiver. I work one 3 to 4 hour shift during the day with elderly clients, so I am not gone from your pets house for long. It’s a very flexible job and helps to fit my schedule and yours!

I follow all the guidelines that families lay out for me. Especially for outdoor cats that need to be inside by bedtime! I keep everything I bring and eat out of reach incase we have any curious critters. I have worked with aggressive, anxious and high energy dogs. I take my time and follow their lead to gain trust.

I always check for medical conditions, medications, fireworks or thunderstorm fears (and how your pet handles them). These are key things I need to know before you leave.
A typical day
I typically work from 12-3p M, W, R, F and on Tuesdays I do 11a-3p. I do not work on weekends (not counting dog sitting). I love being outside so I will get them out with me as much as possible. Walks, ball play or just hanging out - we will be in nature!

I promise to talk to your animals like they are my own. Having grown up with cats and dogs, to raising two of my own for the last 15 years… I am confident I can assist you with pet care. I will comfort them when they are anxious. I will talk to them when they are bored. I will tell them I love them every time I leave the house. I will try to make them as comfortable as possible so that YOU will be able to feel as comfortable as possible while you are away. That’s the point of a vacation right? Or if the trip is less exciting, this will be one thing you don’t have to worry about. I’ve dealt with cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, lizards, turtles and more. I take extra time with animals that have anxiety or fear aggression. I will do multiple meet and greets to make sure all parties are comfortable before we are alone. Don’t be afraid to ask and we can assess what we need to do together. I am open, honest and a healthy communicator.

Carolyn was absolutely amazing!! She is a great communicator and made us feel at ease while we were away from home for 4 nights. Our beagle can be a bit of a handful at times but Carolyn met all her needs perfectly. We will definitely be having her help us out with our fur baby again!
We loved the pictures she sent, and the excellent communication. This was Carolyn’s first time with our 2 schnoodles. They were very happy and comfortable with her. Both dogs need a variety of medications and she was very able to administer to their needs. She kept our home tidy and exactly as we left it. We highly recommend Carolyn.
