About: I have been house sitting overnight since I was 14. I have experience working with dogs, cats, mice, and flying squirrels. Believe it or not, I have taken care of dogs who were indoor-trained only.I am also an experienced dog walker- not just with my own dogs but with friends' dogs that I've loved as my own. **serious inquiries only** please do not send me a booking request if you're going to ghost me after I respond or if you plan to book with another sitter. You'd be surprised by how often this happens. I abide by the safety precautions at the homes I stay at (fences, ring cameras, etc). When I stay with indoor cats, I take extra precautions when leaving the house to make sure the cats don't escape.

About: I’m pretty much a full-time stay-at-home dog mom to my two large dogs, so caring for dogs is already a huge part of my everyday life! I’ve spent months working on training with my own dogs and have lots of hands-on experience with different behaviors, routines, and personalities. I’m especially comfortable with large breeds, but I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. Your pup will be treated like part of the family while staying with me, with plenty of attention, playtime, love, and access to my fully fenced-in yard. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with someone new, so I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and keep you updated with plenty of pictures throughout their stay! Pet care is already a huge part of my everyday routine! I’m home most of the day with my own pets and have a very flexible work schedule, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m able to provide plenty of potty breaks, playtime, attention, meals on their normal schedule, and lots of time outside throughout the day. I have a fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to play and two dogs of my own for company. I always prioritize safe introductions and will make sure your dog is comfortable with mine before their stay. Pets are welcome to make themselves at home, and I can easily separate or crate dogs when needed. I’ll follow your pet’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, and care routine as closely as possible and provide plenty of updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I ensure the highest quality care for my own pets, and I will make it my priority to do the same for yours! As long as I can remember I’ve had pets, and they’ve always been a passion of mine. I work full time from home during the week until 5pm! I am able to provide drop in visits in the evenings and then multiple times a day on weekends. About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. I will stay at your home if needed , schedule potty break services as well. I work at a school so let out before I go to work and right after, evenings and bed time. I will take care of pets in clients home with care plan that fits the pets needs. Give them plenty of attention and care to take away any worries when you are away.

About: I’ve taken care of friends and family’s furry friends for the last 15 years. They have relied on me to walk, feed, and take care of their pets often. Until recently, I had my own senior dog and had taken care of puppies, adults, seniors, and even dogs with disabilities. I currently work part time and am able to fit in walks or drop in visits around my regular daily schedule. I usually only know my schedule two weeks in advance. I am not able to take care of your pets in my home but am happy and able to keep them comfortable in their own space!

About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Available to do drop-ins at your home within 45 mins of Montville - please message me at least one week before your trip to solidify the booking! Please be kind, respectful, and professional in your requests - I do not take last minute visits but would love to help you out with your furry friend. Not a veterinarian, just an animal lover with a lot of compassion!! One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!

About: I live in Southold and I am available for dog walking and dog/cat sitting during the day and overnight in the area. I have taken care of dogs for 7 families so far. I have watched small dogs as well as large dogs. I also have watched two cats. I have a cat at home :) For many of the dogs I watch I take them on walks ranging from 15 mins to an hour. I have done jobs where I check in on a pet/pets during the day to let them out or feed them, but I also do overnight care. I am pretty flexible and available, I am available anytime after 7 am for checking in on pets/walks/etc. During the summer I will be available for pet sitting in the Southold area. During the fall I will also be available in the Southampton area as well. I am available to stay overnight with cats or dogs in my clients home. I am also available to stop in during the day/night to feed and check in on/hangout with pets.

If your pet prefers their personal space, that's no problem at all—I can definitely provide that. My house has a big backyard with a portion that is fully fenced. I live in a safe neighborhood for walks, with trails right behind my house and lots of public trails nearby for hikes. For cats, I'd give them their own space away from my cats, since they can be territorial and need slow introductions. If you have any other kind of pet, I have a finished pet room with its own heating system and no other pets! My care is specialized to your pet and their needs.

About: I have spent 10+ years nurturing, fostering and loving pets of all shapes and sizes. Dogs, cats, parrots, guinea pigs, chinchillas, snakes - I've had them all! I am able to care for animals that need medication administered, as well as multiple visits a day due to my flexible schedule. I have recent puppy 'training' experience as I just hit the 6 month mark with my own pup and will gladly keep your pup well trained too! I work from home full time so my schedule is beyond flexible! I have my own vehicle with ample space for pets if transport is needed. I am often available last minute - because I know things pop up!
