“Melissa was wonderful!! This was my first time leaving my pets and she was not only super helpful but also super loving to them. She took splendid care of my cats and all of the mischief they left around the apartment. And let me know at all times what was happening. She really is amazing”

“Makaila was an excellent communicator over the weekend she dropped in to check on our cat! She was patient with our cat who can sometimes be a bit aloof, and met our cat where she was at comfort-wise on the visits. At our meet and greet, our sometimes shy and nervous senior dog also immediately took to Makaila and probably would have happily stayed behind on the trip to spend time with her new friend. We greatly appreciated Makaila’s updates over the weekend and the care she provided and look forward to working with her again!”

“Mary was so great with my dog, will be using her as my regular dog sitter going forward. Was super attentive and interactive with him from the first meet and greet. Great communication from her and loved the check ins she sent while she came to visit, very glad I found somebody so happy to spend some time with him when I’m at work. 10/10 recommend!”

“Carolyn was fantastic! This was the first time we used a cat sitter while we were away, but we had nothing to worry about with Carolyn. She was so great with our cat- she really took lots of time with him and made him feel comfortable and loved while we were gone. She kept us updated each day (and made us laugh with her daily reports and photos of our cat). Would highly recommend Carolyn!”

“Faith has been phenomenal for the past year that she has been taking care of my cat. She is very professional, responsive, and I always know my cat will be well looked after!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals, and currently have a dog and two cats. I frequently play with them, cuddle with them, and feed them all—as well as walk my dog regularly. I love animals and am 100% comfortable taking care of them and hanging out with them. I’m currently in school and working part-time, and have free time to take care of animals every day! I miss my two cats and my dog from home, so I’d love to spend time with other animals. My apartment doesn’t allow animals, but I am 100% respectful of the animal’s space. I’m happy to feed them, walk them, or clean litter boxes.
“Olivia accommodated a short-notice request without missing a beat. Took the time to meet Rosco and Roxy beforehand, sent great updates and photos throughout the day. It was clear they enjoyed every visit and were well taken care of. Reliable, communicative, genuinely caring. Highly recommend.”

“One word: phenomenal! Jessica was very communicative and accommodating from the very start. She consistently kept us updated with wonderful photos and notes. By the end of the sitting it was clear our cat, Tucker, adored her. Would definitely book again and recommend to others!”

“Dawn was awesome! I had just adopted a kitten and unexpectedly had to leave town for a few days. I was nervous because I hadn’t really bonded yet with my cat. She eats 2x a day and she hides a lot, I didn’t know what to do. I downloaded rover and found Dawn! Dawn came to my house 2x a day! She put out fresh food and water, cleaned the litter and send pics of my cat! She definitely made me feel at ease!! Will definitely use her again!”

“Nina did a great job taking care of my cat Rudy! He needs a daily pill and she was able to give it to him. She sent daily photos of Rudy and kept in contact when she had questions.”

About: I love dogs and have been around all types of dogs since I was little. I foster as well. I enjoy taking them on walks and playing fetch. I had a chocolate lab in my house growing up and loved to take her on walks. I have helped care for friends and families dogs while they have gone away. Most recently I have helped one of my friends train their puppy. I am available to check in on your dog, or take them for a walk with some availability to do overnight stays with the dog or dogs. I love all types of dogs no matter what breed and how big or small! I will care for your dog the way you would! I am also very compassionate, reliable and responsible.
“I have two cats that get very upset when I'm away, but Emma took care of them like they were her own and they were two happy boys when I got back. So grateful for the care and thought she put into our boys and our home”

Pleasant Valley cat parents share their Rover experiences
I had a wonderful experience with Terry as my cat sitter! She was incredibly caring and attentive, and it was clear that my cat truly enjoyed her company. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pet was in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their furry family member.

Destiny did such an amazing job taking care of my fur baby. She is such a pleasure to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter honestly. Destiny was very communicative and my cat bonded to her faster than he has with any stranger. As long as she is available she has my business
