Although I work full-time as an engineer during the weekdays, I have consistent availability in the evenings and on weekends to dedicate my time and attention to pets. Whether it’s a walk or a drop-in, I prioritize clear communication, reliability, and giving each pet the affection and routine they’re used to. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are maintaining their normal routine, respecting the space, and ensuring the pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow all instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and walk times to any medication needs or favorite toys and activities. I aim to keep stress to a minimum by creating a calm, consistent environment. I also make sure to clean up after myself and the pet, leave things as I found them, and provide updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Ultimately, I treat your home and your pet with the same respect and care I would want for my own.

It’s very important for me to learn as much as I can about your pet before our time together so I can provide the best possible care. I always appreciate knowing: • Their daily routine (feeding times, walk schedules, bathroom habits) • Any health issues, medications, or allergies • Behavioral quirks (e.g., anxious around other dogs, fearful of loud noises, resource guarding) • Commands they know and how you typically give them • How they do on leash, with other pets, and with strangers • Favorite toys, treats, or calming activities • Any house rules you’d like me to follow (furniture, crate use, etc.) The more I know upfront, the more I can keep your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away!
A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality and energy level! For dogs, that might mean long walks, fetch in the yard, tug-of-war, or fun brain games like treat puzzles. If your pup loves exploring, we’ll go on sniff-filled adventures around the neighborhood or to a nearby park (with your permission, of course!). For more laid-back pets or senior animals, I offer lots of cuddles, gentle play, and companionship. Cats get plenty of playtime too—with feather toys, laser pointers, or just a cozy lap to curl up on. Above all, I make sure every pet gets the attention, engagement, and love they need to feel happy while you’re away.

I’ve been caring for animals for over 13 years, and it’s truly one of my greatest joys. My experience spans everything from raising and loving my own pets—including dogs, cats, and small animals—to helping care for friends’, neighbors’, and clients’ beloved companions.
