When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are maintaining their normal routine, respecting the space, and ensuring the pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow all instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and walk times to any medication needs or favorite toys and activities. I aim to keep stress to a minimum by creating a calm, consistent environment. I also make sure to clean up after myself and the pet, leave things as I found them, and provide updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Ultimately, I treat your home and your pet with the same respect and care I would want for my own.

Melissa is a very friendly sitter. Our cat connected very quickly with her (to our pleasant surprise as we expected our cat to be shy)! She is very communicative, followed our instructions, asked questions for clarification, and sent pictures and updates. We are very grateful to have had her services paying visits to make sure our cat was okay and taken care of while we were away.

Programa
Pet care is a meaningful and rewarding part of my weekly routine. Although I work full-time as an engineer during the weekdays, I have consistent availability in the evenings and on weekends to dedicate my time and attention to pets. Spending time with animals is not only something I enjoy, but it’s also a great way to unwind after a structured workday. Whether it’s a walk or a drop-in, I prioritize clear communication, reliability, and giving each pet the affection and routine they’re used to. My flexible after-work hours and open weekends allow me to consistently provide quality care while maintaining a balanced schedule.
