“Shelly is truly the best sitter! She consistently provides the most thorough, thoughtful, and patient care to my cat while I’m away. I never have to worry about him because I know he’s in the best hands with her. I’m so thankful I found Shelly, she’s the best!”

“Briana took such great care of my boys while I was away! They really enjoyed having her there to give them loves and snacks. She is really great you’ll come home to happy pets!”

“I highly recommend Makaila. She’s reliable and is in constant communication and takes pictures and videos. Milo loves her and doesn’t run and hide from her anymore. Although Makaila only watches Milo 2-3 times a year Milo has grown attached to her. Thank you Makaila for earning my baby girl’s trust ❤️”

“Danielle is the Best! She trudged through snow while we were gone and sent us lots of reassuring photos of Bodhi. She even washed out all the cat’s dishes., and left everything neat and clean. But best of all, she seems to have bonded with our beloved fluffball and responded to his talkative nature. I’m sure Bodhi looked forward to Danielle’s visits (Food!) and it was such a relief to know he got his pills twice a day. We don’t travel much but hope that Danielle will be available to watch Bodhi when we do. We are so grateful for her care, flexibility and reliability! Thank you, Danielle, and Happy New Year!”

“My dog Fletcher has found a wonderful new friend in Casey. They’ve quickly become buddies. Casey is on-time for his drop by and walk visits. He is also flexible with my schedule. I highly recommend Casey!”

About: I grew up with 3 dogs, today both my sisters have a dog; a Golden Retriever & a German Shepard. I have watched and cared for both of them, as well as pet/house sitting for other family & friends. I also became a cat dad when I adopted a six year old cat three years ago! I just moved to CT so while I search for a job I decided to join Rover!! 6am-10pm 7 days a week I am available! I can be an early bird or a night owl & I love all animals! I can take your pet on a long run or a short walk and anything in between! Most of my experience is with bigger dog breeds like German Shepard, Golden Retriever, & Pit Bull. I have also cared for French Bull Dogs and other mixed dog breeds. I would love to work with any animals! My favorite part is learning how unique each animals is & getting to know their personalities!!
About: I’ve wanted a dog since my childhood dog passed away when I was 8. My parents never got another but now that I am living by myself I have a ton of love to give to any dog that comes to stay. I currently work full time but any free time I would love to fit your dog in my schedule! Reach out and we can figure something out. My apartment complex has a dog park right next to my apartment so I will utilize that to get the dog outside and moving around. The apartment is pretty spacious, so the dog won’t be cramped in a single bedroom all day.
“I felt totally secure while I was away on vacation knowing that my pet Wrecks was being cared for. She visited my home and even sent me pictures that warmed my heart while I was away! Will truly never use anyone else!! So so so great!”

“Elizabeth is great. She went above and beyond. Bud likes her and she doesn’t just do tasks, she gives him love and attention (and catnip!). This is our second time having Elizabeth care for Bud and we are thrilled to have someone close by who is reliable and thorough. Getting the pictures from their visits makes me miss him a little less when we’re away.”

About: Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s who I am. I work part-time at a dog daycare, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. That experience helps me understand their needs, read their behavior, and keep them happy and safe. At home, I have my own furry family (1 dog, 1 cat), and I treat every pet like it is one of my own. When you trust me with your pets, they’ll get the same love, patience, and care I give to mine. Pet care is a big part of my everyday life. I work part-time at a dog daycare, so my days naturally revolve around feeding, walking, playing, and making sure dogs feel safe and loved. When I’m not there, I’m spending time with my own pets going for hikes, walks, giving belly rubs, and keeping a consistent, loving routine. Caring for animals isn’t just something I schedule in; it’s something that’s built into everything I do. Whether in my home or a client’s, safety and trust always come first. I make sure every pet feels comfortable and secure by keeping their routines consistent and their environment calm and clean. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, from feeding schedules to favorite toys, and I always keep a close eye on behavior and energy levels. I treat every pet like family, with patience, kindness, and plenty of love.

“She was very accommodating for my 2 finicky cats! She took the time to look for my shy cat in the house to feed him his treat and gave me clear notes and pictures each visit.”

“Mary was so great with my dog, will be using her as my regular dog sitter going forward. Was super attentive and interactive with him from the first meet and greet. Great communication from her and loved the check ins she sent while she came to visit, very glad I found somebody so happy to spend some time with him when I’m at work. 10/10 recommend!”

“Heidii dropped in twice a day to care for our cat Patches while we were away for a week. We appreciated her timely visits, cleaning up after him, grooming and playing with him. Loved all the amazing pictures that she sent, showing that he was content without us. Also thanks to her daughters that gave him extra love and attention! 😻”

Mystic cat parents share their Rover experiences
Danielle has cat sat for me a few times and has been phenomenal. I have 2 kitties and one of them needs to be given a pill in the morning and night. Danielle comes twice a day and leaves my place the same way I left it. My cats love her and we highly recommend her!

This was my first experience with Rover and Briana and it was great. It was easy to pick out a sitter close by and Briana was fantastic from her first meeting with Coconut and Pepper right thru to our return from overseas. I was nervous to leave the cats, and the house for that matter, in the dead of winter to go skiing in the Alps. Briana was there every day to feed and play with the cats and she even shoveled at path to the house after an epic snowstorm! It was comforting to have daily reports and that went a long way to let me not worry about the cats 4000 miles away. I really can't say enough positive things about the Rover experience and Briana Richard Conant
