I’m work from home, and can give your pet all the attention it requires and wants. I’m work from home and can travel anywhere with wifi. I’m able to do whatever schedule you need! Very flexible and very accommodating to last minute needs or extensions. Consistency is everything, bathroom breaks and feeding schedules set. I’ve cared for all types of animals and would love to care for your furry friend.
About: No rule will be bent, no abnormal behavior will go unreported, and no tummy will be left unrubbed! I've done it all! Boarding, overnights, drop in visits, walks, appointment escort, etc... I just love animals. I've never met an animal I didn't get along with and never feel better than when one returns that love. I know it can be challenging and, frankly, scary to trust someone else with your pets- they're family after all! That's why I consider the role of pet sitter as the most important part of my day. You want pictures? You got 'em! You need updates? Expect a detailed text! You want someone to reassure your babies to not worry and their mom(s)/dad(s) will be home soon? I will be as clear with them as if they were a human child! I get it, you worry they will feel scared when you aren't home. That's why I am here. Food, walks, and playtime are all well and good, but I believe it is just as important to make them feel as comfortable as I can with as much reassurance as I can give. I am a weekly volunteer at Kitty Harbor in Griswold so when it comes to cats, I am experienced in all sorts of mishaps- litter accidents, dirty butt, scratch boo boos, and more. I am also experienced in administering medication. Of course, if you're kitty has a way that works for them, then that's how we'll get it done! As for the pups, I am always excited to get a chance to go for a walk or even a full on hike! Exercise is always more fun when a four legged friend is involved. If you're training a young puppy, or even an old fellow, just let me know exactly when I should be disallowing and you can feel comfortable they won't be learning any bad behavior from me. One last note: boundaries are so important. Every animal is different and every animal has their own limits. If your kitty doesn't like to be pet, then no pets they shall have. If your dog doesn't like to be watched while they eat, then my eyes shall be shut. I hate being stressed, why would I put that on anyone else? I work a 9-5 in Norwich so I am available early mornings and evenings for visits. If you're in Norwich, I can be available mid day for a lunch time drop in as well. I have reliable transportation and a desire to start and/or end my day with furry friends. As for weekends, I am always booked afternoon into the evening on Sunday for my time with the kitties at the Kitty Harbor, but other than that I can have plenty of room on the weekends to add your babies in to my routine. Routine and boundaries. Whatever they are used to, that's what they'll get from me! I hate being stressed, why would I want to do anything to make an animal unnecessarily stressed?

About: I’m pretty much a full-time stay-at-home dog mom to my two large dogs, so caring for dogs is already a huge part of my everyday life! I’ve spent months working on training with my own dogs and have lots of hands-on experience with different behaviors, routines, and personalities. I’m especially comfortable with large breeds, but I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. Your pup will be treated like part of the family while staying with me, with plenty of attention, playtime, love, and access to my fully fenced-in yard. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with someone new, so I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and keep you updated with plenty of pictures throughout their stay! Pet care is already a huge part of my everyday routine! I’m home most of the day with my own pets and have a very flexible work schedule, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m able to provide plenty of potty breaks, playtime, attention, meals on their normal schedule, and lots of time outside throughout the day. I have a fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to play and two dogs of my own for company. I always prioritize safe introductions and will make sure your dog is comfortable with mine before their stay. Pets are welcome to make themselves at home, and I can easily separate or crate dogs when needed. I’ll follow your pet’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, and care routine as closely as possible and provide plenty of updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and other animals since I was a little kid, and for others for about 5 years now. Whether it is training or just hanging out, your pets needs are always met. I work Monday through Friday , 8am - 5pm. I am able to be somewhat mobile during those days, specifically during the lunch hour! Weekends are normally free as well! About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. About: I got my first dog in 1982. My first cat in 2021. I learned to walk, play with, feed and love my dog, Cara. Then in 1997 another came into my life and again I cared for her basic needs but next I learned to watch and listen to this one... and trained her in tricks and solid obedience. Also at home I adopted Macy who has cancer as a kitten. She was treated and she is 3 years in remission now bc I played with her and brushed her and gently got her eating again through the chemo program. My reputation grew as a good cat babysitter and dog walker and caregiver. I am gentle, patient, firm and have strong communication with dogs and I speak the language of cats. I also am in very good athletic condition so I can offer your dog and cat a strong enough dose of energy and fun that your dog's anxiety about you not being there can subside. Your cats and dogs miss you when you leave them for work and important events. But I will fill in the gaps so they feel a warm friend is looking after them until you return home. I care for my own cat. Doing the litter daily and feeding her in the morning and evening with some in the middle of the day. She has cozy places to sleep and toys to play with to stay active. I interact with her and brush her to keep her in an overall healthy and good mental state. Playtime is a real winner with most pets. Those who are disabled or needing a different kind of care will get warmth and gentility from Me. If they need meds, I will do it in a caring way. If they need to be vigorous and enjoy companionship time in your absence, I am there to be their protector, buddy and server.
