Deborah is fantastic, flexible and great with Marlowe! Highly recommend!
It was my birthday and I had to leave my boy (and his new brother) - only Joey's fave auntie Deborah can make them miss me less!
Deborah is our #1 go to for our pup. She has the sweetest spirit and you can tell she adores and provides stellar care for our dog. We have used Deborah four times now (including two weeks of boarding when we left town) and could not truse anyone more than her. Our pup kisses Deborah goodbye when he leaves and wags his tail when we arrive for drop off. Sign of a job well done ...

Dedicated animal lover (especially dogs) with a comfortable dog-friendly apartment in the West Village. I am present most of the day and your beloved dog will be most welcome in my home. I am a professional photographer and education advocate. I have an adorable 3 yr. old cockapoo who loves all dogs. I am just minutes away from beautiful Hudson River Park and Washington Square Park. Conditions and time permitting, we often hit the park ...
What Deborah would like to know about your dog
I have no breed preferences. I am very intuitive with animals. However, it is always beneficial to know temperament and what behavior they typically display when owner leaving them. This way special attention can be made to ease any separation anxiety as quickly as possible. I want them to feel at home. Info re: daiy routine and feeding schedule ; how they react to pedestrians and other dogs when walking ; and any things to watch out for (shoes, chewing, cables etc. ); whether treats are allowed is all information that is very appreciated.
If your dog is prone to excessive anxiety, eg. sustained barking, please let me know, as I don't like to burden my neighbors. I want your pup to be relaxed and happy, and will do all I can to be sure that happens.
Dogs must be housetrained, and up to date on vaccinations. Dogs must also be on monthly flea medication like Frontline or Advantage etc.
Lastly, due to a recently diagnosed spine issue I risk re-injury lifting dogs. If you have a dog/ puppy over 9-10 lbs. that may require me to pick him up for any reason (I live on second floor walk-up) I am afraid I am unable to do so at this time.
