About: My experience includes working with horses, donkeys, sheep, chickens, fish, reptiles, birds and more. I have my own dog Paul, and I've owned dogs and cats in the past as well. My most recent certification is in wildife rehabilitation, and I work part-time as an educator at an aquarium. I surround myself with animals and I hope to do so for the rest of my life. I work on Sundays and Mondays, volunteer on Thursdays, and may be called in on other days. I am responsible for my own animals at home as well. As long as I have time to plan for animal care for others, I will make that care a priority. Clearly written instructions on specific care for your animals is appreciated, but I can use my knowledge and experience to make the right calls if anything comes up.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have owned dogs, cats, a horse, rabbits, birds, rodents and reptiles. I currently have two cats and have experience caring for pets with different personalities, needs and routines.  I offer walks, drop ins, and overnight care for both dogs and cats. I’m flexible whether your dog (or cat) wants a long or short walk, playtime, or just someone to keep them company. I pet sit outside of Rover and am happy to provide local references. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I always provide frequent updates, photos, and videos. I work full-time in Guilford during the week, but I’m available before and after work, on weekends, and for overnight house sitting. My Rover calendar is set to weekends only, but I can often accommodate weekday requests as well depending on location and timing. I know it’s important to trust someone with your pets and in your home. I follow instructions closely, help keep routines consistent, and keep your pet safe and comfortable. I’m happy to provide references and send frequent updates, photos, and videos.

About: I’ve had pets for nearly my whole life! I grew up with the best golden retriever anyone could ask for and now I have two cats that I would do literally anything for. I frequently take care of pets of my friends and family and absolutely love being around pets. I am currently on Christmas break and work in a restaurant a few days a week so I have a very flexible schedule. I can do same day walks/check-ins to accommodate your needs! Keeping your dog active and stimulated is the best way to keep them happy. I clean up any messes they made and will ensure that they get all the love and care in the world!

About: I’ve been working with and caring for animals my entire life. My experience includes working as a vet tech, groomer, trap & release, spay & nueter programs, pet sitting, dog walking, animal transport, rescue and fostering. I am also comforable with administering medications and working with all personality traits. I understand the pack dynamic and am not intimidated when handling multiple pet type homes and dogs of all sizes. I am patient and animals respond well to my calm and confident nature. I work full time through out the school year and part time during the summer and can easily adjust my work schedule to accommodate drop in visits and dog walking services. Visiting pets can be crated if needed or gated in their own room while I am away from home. While I am home they will be free to roam the house and enjoy outside time safely in my fenced in yard.

About: Rest assured, your pet will get the best care and a new goofy nickname! I’ve trained puppies, cats and even a guinea pig. I’m work from home, and can give your pet all the attention it requires and wants. I’m work from home and can travel anywhere with wifi. I’m able to do whatever schedule you need! Very flexible and very accommodating to last minute needs or extensions. Consistency is everything, bathroom breaks and feeding schedules set. I’ve cared for all types of animals and would love to care for your furry friend.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and currently have six kitties and one high-energy dog, (his name is Rover, for real)! He’s a hound mix, 80ish pound rescue who keeps me busy! I’ve often helped my kids with their pet sitting work, and enjoy animals immensely!! I work part-time in Westerly, and would love to add pet sitting and/or dog walking to my day. I’m currently available 7am-6pm Monday through Thursday, but at some point around mid Oct, my availability will be 3-6pm Mondays through Wednesdays, and 2pm - 6pm on Thursdays. Generally a dog walk would include only your dog(s), I don’t double up clients. I walk for a full 30 minutes, and then play, cuddle and take some notes for 10-15 minutes so the rate for service is for about 45 minutes. Same for drop in visits, I will keep your cat(s) and or dog(s) happy by hanging out with them, especially for med visits and just people time. I never let my dog off leash unless we are in a fenced in area. We are very safe by walking only on sidewalks and we generally avoid other animals if we can help it just to be on the safe side.

About: I grew up loving animals and caring for family pets. I have since become a wildlife biologist, getting paid to work with animals is a dream! I have worked in a vet clinic before and spent summers in collage looking after friends and family pets. I work full time 8-5 and spend about half my hours working from home. I occasionally have long nights in the field but I should know ahead of time when those occur. I am always very cautious when watching other people's pets in their homes. I know each pet is unique and needs different care to make them feel comfortable. I am dedicated to giving that specialize care to each pet.

About: I’ve always owned a dog since I was born. I grew up with a beautiful german shepard and currently own 2 mixed breed rescue dogs. Some people call me the animal whisperer because whenever I go to their house their dog/cat runs to me and wants to enjoy my company. I don’t have professional experience with pets but I did personally train my two dogs, and they are very well behaved and listen to commands. I’m currently working part-time while searching for a new steady full-time job. In the mean time, I felt like taking this opportunity to supervise other owners’ dogs when they’re in need and when I have free time to make some extra cash would benefit everyone. I own two dogs, Heidi and Bailey. Heidi is an absolute sweetheart and very down to earth. Bailey is also adorable and just wants to show love, however she was a rescue pup and suffers severe anxiety, ptsd, and separation anxiety. While my two dogs do get along with each other, Bailey can get quite protective and aggressive with dogs she has not met before. There have been times where in a large open space she was able to calmly meet other dogs. I would be able to come to my client’s house to pet-sit but would not be able to bring my client’s pet to my house just for the safety of the situation and our pets.

We were nervous, especially since one of our cats has anxiety but, even he warmed up to her by the second day! We’ve booked her for our longer trip later this month too!”

About: Your animals will love my care! 15 years of experience, caring for cats and dogs. I love all animals. Currently reactivating my Rover account for dog and cat care. Mainly taking female well behaved dogs up to 40 pounds. Occasionally will care for some males that are very well-behaved and non-aggressive. Care not available for any aggressively known breeds. My drop in visits and walks are $25 per visit, 30 or 60 minutes. Rover takes 20% processing fee. Will travel up to 7 mile radius from my location in Westerly, Rhode Island. For dog walking and dog sitting, I am available between 10 AM and 3 PM. Please make sure they have secure harness and leash. If heavy scented toxic shampoos are used on pet, I will not be able to accompany the pet. Looking forward to taking care of your pet to be sure they are happy and loved.
