“I am so excited Heidii is a Rover sitter!! She takes care of my pets like they are her own. I am so appreciative of the beautiful pictures and all the attention they receive wile I am away. I’m incredibly grateful!!!”

“Emma saved the day! I had a last minute trip out of town come up and Emma was able to do three drop in visits with my cats. She kept me updated with pictures the whole time and even got my normally shy cat to come out for some love. I would recommend Emma in a heartbeat.”

About: My experience includes working with horses, donkeys, sheep, chickens, fish, reptiles, birds and more. I have my own dog Paul, and I've owned dogs and cats in the past as well. My most recent certification is in wildife rehabilitation, and I work part-time as an educator at an aquarium. I surround myself with animals and I hope to do so for the rest of my life. I work on Sundays and Mondays, volunteer on Thursdays, and may be called in on other days. I am responsible for my own animals at home as well. As long as I have time to plan for animal care for others, I will make that care a priority. Clearly written instructions on specific care for your animals is appreciated, but I can use my knowledge and experience to make the right calls if anything comes up.

And went right to Torie i know he felt loved because, the pictures really tell a story. Thank you soo much Torie for loving him the way we do. We will be forever thankful to you. Love Willow and his family.”

“Miranda was an amazing cat sitter! 11/10 would recommend. While we were gone, she was able to divide and administer heart failure medication for one of our cats, cleaned up hairballs, made sure they had food & water, and kept their litter boxes clean. She was very communicative and we loved her photo updates and her drop in descriptions.”

“Carolyn was so kind and fun to work with. She left hilarious and detailed reports and selfies with our kitties and took extra care to follow our specific needs to keep them separated. She was very respectful and caring during our meet and greet and communicative during the planning.”

I prioritize reliability, clear communication, and consistency, ensuring you’re always informed and confident while you’re away. Beyond basic care, I focus on creating a calm, structured, and attentive environment where your pet feels secure and genuinely cared for. My goal is not just to meet expectations, but to exceed them with professionalism, trust, and a high level of personal attention. Pet care is a natural part of our daily and weekly routine because my partner and I work together as a team to provide consistent, attentive care for every animal we look after. We structure our schedules so that one of us is always available, which allows for flexibility and ensures pets get the time, attention, and exercise they need. My partner and I work together to provide attentive and reliable care in our clients’ homes, always focusing on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy in their environment. In a client’s home, we make it a priority to stick closely to each pet’s usual routine—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions—so they feel secure and experience as little disruption as possible. We also keep the home tidy, provide regular updates, and make sure pets get plenty of affection and attention while their owners are away. Because there are two of us, in the times both of us are present, we’re able to offer extra flexibility, consistent supervision, and dependable backup. This team approach allows us to give each pet personalized care and plenty of one-on-one attention.

Casey was an absolute pleasure to work with. This was the very first time that we left our fox girl for more than a few days and knowing that Casey was taking care of her gave us a huge sense of relief. Casey was communicative, reliable and went out of his way several occasions to make sure foxy was happy. We are so grateful to Casey and would recommend him to anyone.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
