“John saved the day with coming over earlier than anticipated for an already long 2.5 week trip. He was responsive, communicative, and had a great calm energy- which was needed with my nervous pup. He won the nervous pup over within a day- and the photos with the happy wagging tail proved her allegiance had shifted. It was our longest trip away from the pets, but John made it easy for us with his updates. He even let us know when it looked like the pups were running out of a supplement we had just started giving them. We arrived home to 2 happy dogs and 1 ambivalent cat, all clearly well-fed and taken care of. We have already have asked John to watch the pets again next April. About: I have had dogs since I was a kid, as well as other animals (cats, geckos, fish etc.) I have pet sat for my neighbors with some of their dogs being on the older side, needing medications and more care. I have also had a dog go through ACL surgery and worked with them on the rehab after! I'm currently part-time and would love to hang out with your animals! I know working makes it hard for animals to get as many walks as you might like, and I would love to be someone who can help with that! My own dog is electric fence trained, but I have worked with dogs who need to be leashed while having outdoor time, and some who have fenced in yards. I would love to help your your pet feel happy and active!
