About: Hi, my name is Vanessa. I am 27years old. I have two dogs of my own who I adore, and one little kitty. I have a Shar Pei and a Shar Pei terrier. One of my dogs has severe anxiety so I know how to handle certain situations. I love animals and love meeting new ones! I have been around dogs my whole life and have dog sat for many different types of breeds. I am comfortable with all animal sizes. I will take your animals on long walks and play with them until they are ready for a nap. I want to make your pets feel taken care of. I am looking forward to making new animal friends! :) I stay at home so I have a lot of free time to take care of your pets! I have a very flexible schedule! I can do walks and okay with your pet! About: I grew up around cats and dogs within my own home, other family members houses, & friends. We had a cat of our own until last year when we moved out of CT for a short time and had to sadly re-home him. He’s missed very much! I’ve also house sat pets and walked friends dogs as well. I work part time so I have a lot free time on my hands which makes me very flexible at all hours and time during the week! I care for pets as if they are my own. With all the love and fun that they can take whether they are in my home or I am in theirs!

About: I’ve cared for, fostered and trained pets for more than 20 years. I have volunteered at shelters and even been trained as a puppy raiser for future service dogs. I would love to take care of your pets for you with the same special attention! I’m admittedly new to the dog sitting/walking arena, but not to animal care in general. We lost our last dog recently at the ripe old age of 17, so taking care of your dogs will bring me so much joy. We will chat about their preferences and habits and I will ensure they are as comfortable as possible until you are able to return to them. You will have no worries while they are in my hands. As a full time special education teacher, I have my summers completely free and clear and ready to be booked with plenty of pet sitting and walking time. I am an avid hiker and know plenty of beautiful spots to take your dogs for a quick or long walk, depending on your needs. Or, maybe your dogs have a favorite loop around your neighborhood? We will have a meet and greet before your service to make sure I know exactly what your dog’s preference is and what will make you most comfortable in your absence.

About: Grown up with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes my whole live. Breeds range from pitties to english mastiffs and straight up mutts! For now, it's me and my fiancé with the love of our life - Tootsie (american shorthair) in an apartment until we have the space to expand our fur family! I've volunteered on and off at animal shelters since middle school and have experience dog sitting for friends and family. I work from home 4 days a week, with one day a week in office in NYC. My day in office varies between Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays - but can easily schedule appointments with little lead time and notice! Working from home give me the freedom to step out on my lunch breaks or use what would have been commuting time to spend taking care of animals. I will always treat any pet as my own. My first priorities are always going to be trust and safety. Keeping an open line of communication is key. Keeping pets where they're most comfortable and relaxed in their home and their neighborhood is ideal vs. bringing pets into my home.

About: I have been handling and training dogs at daycares, puppy and adult day schools, and pet stores for over a decade, and I’m currently working on my certification through the Karen Pryor Academy for professional dog trainers. I prioritize safety and the use of positive reinforcement to keep dogs physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy, and I particularly enjoy helping fearful dogs become more calm and confident with clicker training. Right now I’m in the process of writing a business plan for my own company, so my availability is wide open for the time being. I am gentle, but firm and consistent. I use treats and other rewards paired with a marker to reinforce and shape the behaviors I want, and will use ‘time outs” to enforce necessary boundaries. Your dog will not pull me or get away with problem behaviors, but I also make sure not to be scary and spend more time rewarding them when they do well.
