We have always left Kai with either family or friends, but since everyone we knew was attending the wedding I reached out to Laura. We set up a meet and greet -I knew from the first time I met her that she was a perfect match. She was warm and kind - obviously a dog lover - and she made a connection with our normally shy dog right away. She asked a lot of questions about Kai's habits - she wanted to make sure she followed his normal daily routine so that he would be comfortable in her home.. Her house is beautiful and she has a large, fenced in back yard that allowed Kai to run free in a safe environment. Laura took him for a 3 mile daily walk, and sent many pictures and updates the whole 6 days she had him. He became a part of her family❤️ I cannot say enough about how happy we were to have found her. She gave us peace of mind that Kai was well loved and cared for so we were able to enjoy the wedding without any worries. I would HIGHLY recommend Laura to anyone looking for a sitter!!”

They took great care to introduce everyone slowly to be sure all the dogs were comfortable. All seems to have gone very well, by the time I came to pick her up, Mia was feeling quite at home. About: I have owned all sorts of animals since I was a child. I have been to obedience school time and time again. My favorite take away from obedience school is "train the person not the dog". Obedience school is not a one time thing. There are many levels of obedience school. I worked with therapy animals for many years. I worked with autistic children and used horses as the therapy animal. My dogs are excellent therapy animals. My dogs have been with me for 7 years. They are the first Small Dogs I have ever owned. I also live near an awesome park that provides safety, privacy and space for dogs. If you are looking to give your dog exercise away from home, I have the place. There is also a nearby dog park if you prefer. I currently work part time job and work from home so I am with my pets all the time. I like to take the dog out to park on nice days. I have an un fenced yard. One elderly small dog that is 16 lbs. I take my dog out for walks at Harkness Park. Or I hang out with them in the house.
About: I have loved and cared for all kinds of animals since I was young. Having every animal from cats to dogs, birds and guinea pigs, hamsters, snakes, lizards, turtles, and birds! I have experience training dogs as well as training service dogs. I can care for animals from birth to their senior years. I can safely bathe animals, feed, administer medication, and give souch love to them! I have a very flexible routine that allows me to accommodate the needs of many pet parents! I can make adjustments as needed and am happy to spend time with your loved four legged friend! I keep a clean, safe space for the animals I visit with. Unless otherwise noted, I keep a variety of treats and toys on hand and keep a large gravity water bowl available at all times.
