About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up, my mother was (and still is) a doggy foster mom for our local shelter. We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! I work completely from home which will allow me plenty of time to attend to your pups needs all throughout the day. I love to jog and hike, so your pup will be sure to get plenty of exercise and outdoor time with me! I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. Working from home allows plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs will always be kept safely leashed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, feeding schedule, crate preferences, and any special care instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure.”

Laura was amazing! From the day we went over to meet her and see her home we knew our dog Rooster was in good hands. Throughout our time away Laura kept us updated with pics and videos showing how much fun he was having with the other dogs in her care. This meant so much! He came home happy, healthy, and I’m sure missing the fun he was having all day at Laura’s. We will definitely be using her for all future trips.

About: I’m a retired combat veteran and have plenty of Availability given notice! I run a full time pet care business and dog training business. I have more than 28 years experience with several animal species, including doing my professional businesses the past 4 years, working at a kennel, and several dog sports! I have not only gained experience but keep up with my Professional development as well through seminars, workshops, and coursework! Currently level 1&2 coursework and certification in programs with Method k9! My motto is always to #havefunwithit!!! Drop-in visits, Dog Walking/hikes, Mobile dog training/Enrichment (FUN!!)/Pack walks, day care, and day training programs! I do this full time as a licensed, insured, and bonded pet sitter, dog walker, dog trainer, and pet caregiver as Influential K9, LLC. I also have experience being a kennel manager for a dog daycare/boarding facility! Different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities up to 15-20 dogs some days at a time. Our home has half an acre of wooded area for sniffing and walking! And .25-.75 acre to run and play! We are adding new toys and activities every week! We also can accommodate hikes on daycare days we live right on the river by the Scotland damn! Once everyone is integrate there will be pack walks! So much to do and explore for your dogs while they get all the benefits of a one on one trainer. Daycare rates listed are base rates and packages will be based on services requested. I do have several reviews and testimonials on request and more than 40 repeat clients through my professional pet sitting and dog walking business. You can find more information by looking me up on Facebook or google as well! I want to bring love and fun to your home! I truly enjoy what I do and am doing what I love. When working with you and your animal companions you will always get photo updates, report cards, and safety as a priority! -My special skills include being able to provide enrichment and safe pet care practices, such as double leash retention, ice sheets during hotter months, water, and a first aid kit on me at all times during walks/visits. I can provide certain medical requests (such as oral medication or injections). I grew up with dogs (small, medium, and LARGE), cats, birds, small companion animals, fish, and horses over the years. I do this full-time and have plenty of availability! I can usually fill most accommodations and requests based on availability when a booking is requested! When caring for a client’s animal companion in their homes, I always make sure to conduct a consultation (meet and greet) so that I am introduced to the companions before providing services. This ensures that your animal companions feel safe and secure with someone they are familiar with while I am in their home. This is used to establish what boundaries and needs your animal companion needs from me while you are away. Safety is the most important aspect of my job for your animal companions. All services are base rates.

Mary Jo took great care of millie on our long weekend up north in NY. Millie needed medicine administered during her stay and Mary Jo took good care to be sure she received it. We had forgotten to bring our dogs food and Mary Jo had spare food she graciously provided. Millie is happy and well brushed by her family. Thanks for caring for our Millie! Will use Mary Jo again:) Nice walking neighbor hood , large house, and large unfenced yard:) Great family! Rebecc and Bill

Laura went above and beyond to make sure our first time leaving our puppy went smoothly. From thorough communication before the booking, to updates during our vacation, it was such a relief to know that he was in good hands (and also having fun too)! If we travel again and need dog care, I will definitely be checking Laura's availability; I'm so glad I found her!

About: Hi! I’m a third-year graduate student at Sacred Heart University working toward my doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, and I’d love to help care for your pets. I primarily offer dog walking services, but I’m also available for drop-in visits and overnight stays. I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats through pet sitting for friends, family and a multitude of Rover clients, as well as raising pets of my own. I’m comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines, and I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. My schedule is very flexible with the next few weeks on a break from classes, so I can often accommodate a variety of needs throughout the week or weekend. Whether your dog needs a reliable walking buddy, your cat needs some company, or you’re heading out of town, I’m here to help and treat your pets like my own! Rates are negotiable. Excited to meet your little ones! I’m currently a full time student but have a flexible schedule around classes, I’d love to work something out that fits around your schedule and my schedule I treat my animals as if they are family because I believe they are family and care for them like they are my children, I would gladly take your animal in and make sure they have the best experience

Millie was well cared for by Catherine and her family. We had a weekend away and she was able to accommodate our drop off and pick up time slots. There were numerous photos which made us feel confident in her care. Great setting with a large yard and only other pet was their cat. Our spaniel does not always grt along with other dogs. Well done! Will viait again:)

Crystal was absolutely wonderful looking after our dog over the Christmas period. She sent regular updates and photos/videos, which really kept our minds at ease while we were away. Earlier in the year, our dog spent three days at a kennel and struggled quite a bit, so we were understandably anxious about leaving him again. The difference with Crystal was night and day. He spent seven nights in a loving home environment, had so much fun with the other dogs, and received genuine care and attention from Crystal and her family. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog, which says everything. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Crystal and will absolutely be using her again.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 499 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Norwich. About 91% of Norwich sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
