Laura and her family turned out to be the perfect people and place. With a beautiful, safe home out in the country, a deck and fenced in yard where he could play, a open-plan house where he was visible at all times, Laura’s place was perfect. And the bonus: three little girls who adored him and lavished attention upon him, much to his delight. Laura, herself, was wonderful, caring, professional, delightful. She took him on long walks which he loved, texted me photos and updates on this progress during the stay, saw to his every need and even made some recommendations to me as to feeding bowls which might slow his eating down (he snarfs up his food in seconds!). I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. But I think he knows he can go back and stay in this home away from home which he will definitely be doing the next time I need to go away without him. I can’t tell you the peace of mind that all this brought me, knowing that he was happy and being well-cared-for and loved.”

About: I’m a retired combat veteran and have plenty of Availability given notice! I run a full time pet care business and dog training business. I have more than 28 years experience with several animal species, including doing my professional businesses the past 4 years, working at a kennel, and several dog sports! Drop-in visits, Dog Walking/hikes, Mobile dog training/Enrichment (FUN!!)/Pack walks, day care, and day training programs! When working with you and your animal companions you will always get photo updates, report cards, and safety as a priority! -My special skills include being able to provide enrichment and safe pet care practices, such as double leash retention, ice sheets during hotter months, water, and a first aid kit on me at all times during walks/visits. I can provide certain medical requests (such as oral medication or injections). I grew up with dogs (small, medium, and LARGE), cats, birds, small companion animals, fish, and horses over the years. I do this full-time and have plenty of availability! I can usually fill most accommodations and requests based on availability when a booking is requested! When caring for a client’s animal companion in their homes, I always make sure to conduct a consultation (meet and greet) so that I am introduced to the companions before providing services. This ensures that your animal companions feel safe and secure with someone they are familiar with while I am in their home. This is used to establish what boundaries and needs your animal companion needs from me while you are away. Safety is the most important aspect of my job for your animal companions.
