About: I’ve had experience taking care of animals since I was young! I often do pet care for my friends, family and coworkers as well as volunteer for local adoption agencies. I am capable of handling pets of all shapes, sizes and ages as I’ve come across them all with my experiences. I’m also equipped to handle pets with special needs. I am also certified in CPR & First Aid for Dogs & Cats, so you can trust that your family is safe in my hands. I am in school M-F, 9AM-1PM however I have plenty of early morning availability and afternoon and evenings. I try to accommodate for the needs of all pets & their parents. About: I have been house sitting overnight since I was 14. I have experience working with dogs, cats, mice, and flying squirrels. Believe it or not, I have taken care of dogs who were indoor-trained only.I am also an experienced dog walker- not just with my own dogs but with friends' dogs that I've loved as my own. **serious inquiries only** please do not send me a booking request if you're going to ghost me after I respond or if you plan to book with another sitter. You'd be surprised by how often this happens. I abide by the safety precautions at the homes I stay at (fences, ring cameras, etc). When I stay with indoor cats, I take extra precautions when leaving the house to make sure the cats don't escape.

About: I’m pretty much a full-time stay-at-home dog mom to my two large dogs, so caring for dogs is already a huge part of my everyday life! I’ve spent months working on training with my own dogs and have lots of hands-on experience with different behaviors, routines, and personalities. I’m especially comfortable with large breeds, but I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. Your pup will be treated like part of the family while staying with me, with plenty of attention, playtime, love, and access to my fully fenced-in yard. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with someone new, so I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and keep you updated with plenty of pictures throughout their stay! Pet care is already a huge part of my everyday routine! I’m home most of the day with my own pets and have a very flexible work schedule, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m able to provide plenty of potty breaks, playtime, attention, meals on their normal schedule, and lots of time outside throughout the day. I have a fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to play and two dogs of my own for company. I always prioritize safe introductions and will make sure your dog is comfortable with mine before their stay. Pets are welcome to make themselves at home, and I can easily separate or crate dogs when needed. I’ll follow your pet’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, and care routine as closely as possible and provide plenty of updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I have owned dogs throughout my whole life. At one point Our pack totaled 6. I’ve owned 2 horses, a guinea pig, a rabbit, and a cat. I worked as an apprentice vet tech until the veterinarian died unexpectedly of a heart attack. I have recently pursued more education regarding grooming. I have groomed my own dogs and friends dogs over the years. I am conscientious and will never allow a dog to be in pain seeking medical care immediately. I would like it to be part time to start with the option of going full time further down the road. I am working on grooming lessons, and my current part time job. I believe in being observant of their behaviors and to respond accordingly. Our dogs receive much love and play time. They are allowed to be with us and on our furniture. I realize that many owners frown upon that and I will honor their wishes when caring for their pet

About: I’ve always dog-sat for family and friends and have plenty of experience caring for dogs. I also worked at a pet resort for two years while in high school, where I cared for and interacted with dogs of all different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m very comfortable around dogs and understand that each one has its own needs and routine. I’m currently a college student and am looking to provide dog-sitting and pet care, especially over the next few weeks after my internship ends and before I head back to school. About: There’s always been a dog in my house ever since I was born. Sparky, Bobo, Patrick, and now my Delilah. I’m a big fan of every kind of dog and love meeting new ones! I’m usually home all day, helping my mother take care of my grandmother. I have plenty of time to pop out and drop in on your dog! I’m capable of letting your dog out, either in a fenced yard or on a leash. As well as feed and make sure their water bowl is full!

About: I've lived with dogs nearly my whole life, and cats for half of it. I have taken care of said pets for years and been an in-family pet sitter on numerous occasions. My mother frequently cares for other pets through apps like this/through friends, and I assist her with that when needed. At the moment, I care for my mother's pets when she leaves town for any length of time (1 small/medium dog, 1 cat). Otherwise, I'm a free agent. Some of the services listed on the app have the potential to overlap (such as a visit and a walk), I don't consider the price to be totally compounding, just let me know and we can figure out what works best. I'd imagine this is on a situational basis. I'll pet/feed/walk them and am able to follow directions as well as any human, should your pet require specific, or unique, handling. I can usually read pet body language pretty well, but have no specific training in it. If there are any areas of confusion for me, I'll be sure to ask questions to make sure your pet is cared for properly.

About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Available to do drop-ins at your home within 45 mins of Montville - please message me at least one week before your trip to solidify the booking! Please be kind, respectful, and professional in your requests - I do not take last minute visits but would love to help you out with your furry friend. Not a veterinarian, just an animal lover with a lot of compassion!! One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!
