“Our son was getting married in upstate NY so we needed a sitter for our dog Kai while we were away. We have always left Kai with either family or friends, but since everyone we knew was attending the wedding I reached out to Laura. We set up a meet and greet -I knew from the first time I met her that she was a perfect match. She was warm and kind - obviously a dog lover - and she made a connection with our normally shy dog right away. She asked a lot of questions about Kai's habits - she wanted to make sure she followed his normal daily routine so that he would be comfortable in her home.. Her house is beautiful and she has a large, fenced in back yard that allowed Kai to run free in a safe environment. Laura took him for a 3 mile daily walk, and sent many pictures and updates the whole 6 days she had him. He became a part of her family❤️ I cannot say enough about how happy we were to have found her. She gave us peace of mind that Kai was well loved and cared for so we were able to enjoy the wedding without any worries. I would HIGHLY recommend Laura to anyone looking for a sitter!!”

About: Dogs are truly my one passion. I'd love to help you and yours however I can! Growing up I've always had a variety of animals, but right now I have two dogs. Jojo (11yrs) and Libby (4yrs). They are everything to me and it gives me great pleasure to provide for them, ensuring their happiness and well being. I have experience with dogs of all ages, and pets of all kinds! I have 8+ years experience in pet care, including 6 years Doggy Daycare Management and Puppy Room experience with puppies under 6 months. For a few years I was assisting in positive reinforcement dog training classes as well. I learned tips and tricks on how to gain attention with your dogs, leash walking skills, and much much more. I'm used to off leash group play (15+ dogs at a time), so dog walking and sitting full time is a bit new for me. But I am so excited to explore this new opportunity with you! I will use the skills I've acquired to ensure your dog is HAPPY and SAFE! I will love your pup just like my own. Looking forward to making memories and I can't wait to meet you all! Full time dog walking/drop ins + "almost" overnight sitting. Making early morning and late night trips to accommodate your pup. My own two dogs just need a regular check in half way through day. About: I have owned multiple dogs for the past six years, all with varying energy levels and needs. I currently have a jack russell mix, a terrier mix, and a boxer/rhodesian ridgeback mix. I am comfortable caring for all different shapes and sizes and catering to each individual personality. I currently own my own business as a professional house cleaner and may at times be away for 6-8 hours during the day. Other than that, I am available to spend lots of quality time with your pet. Safety and keeping your pet comfortable is my highest priority. Pets will be supervised when outside and always kept on leash on walks or if no fenced yard is available. I also prefer to keep with their normal schedule as much as possible, including feeding, rest time, exercise, etc.

Miranda sent me pictures and let me know how they were doing periodically which was greatly appreciated. She was also able to accept the booking with short notice and her rates were very affordable. “I was extremely nervous leaving our 1 year old with someone other than my family as she hasn't left us since we adopted last July. However, my fears were calmed leaving Demi with Nuno. My husband had a great meet and greet and then she stayed with Nuno for a couple nights. Nuno has a wonderful friendly dog, Bisca, and a large yard for the dogs to play. He also has children who showered Demi with love also. ❤️ Great communication while he watched her and I'm already booking him again for our next weekend away!”

About: Having cared for 13 dogs and 4 cats (yes, we keep count), we've seen it all. Daily exercise and even bathing is quite familiar to us. Leo has hands-on experience with animal shelters, and I have biological based experience with both nutritional needs and animal anatomy, and we both can provide basic training. We currently have a year-old golden retriever and a tabby! We've dealt with a couple lovable (but difficult) pets and can deal with issues like stubbornness, biting, and basic potty training. Leo works from home, and I'm a commuter-basically, there's always someone home! We are both the "outdoorsy" type and frequent the devil's hop yard, as well as hike through our property. As STEM majors, animals keep us sane! We can also transport your pets (we have the seating and everything). Our property has a spacious (but secure) 100-acre forest, perfect for supervised walks and exploration! At home, our pets—a friendly Golden Retriever and a sweet Tabby—ensure your furry friend will never feel lonely. We can also provide crate time if needed for safety or comfort, and (given our flexibility) tailor care routines to meet each pet’s needs!
