“I've already re-booked! The entire process with Shannon was seamless, from the meet and greet which we did in advance to Spencer's first overnight! HIGHLY recommend. When we did the meet and greet, Shannon spent about and hour with Spencer and I, giving us the opportunity to see how he interacted with her daycare dogs as well as with her personal dogs. She has a huge, fenced in yard, which is very well gated off and contained. She took the time to get him used to her outdoor area, as well as her home. I was very comfortable knowing he would be safe, and well cared for. During his overnight stay, she texted me several times, with photos and let me know he was doing well. Spencer came home from his visit tired from playing with doggie friends, and well cared for. I have already booked future visits and I highly recommend!”

About: Around age 24, I adopted a cat who was extremely shy and nervous. t took me 3 months of work to be able to touch her but it was so worth it! I always made sure she had all of the love and care she needed. She was very particular about having a clean litter box (we agreed there!) and with her food and treats. I bought her a water fountain when I noticed she was making more of a mess with her water bowl than she seemed to be drinking. I still miss her, but memories of her and her memorial tattoo on my inner wrist help me through each day.

About: Hi! I’m Dina, a lifelong animal lover based in Niantic, CT. I recently moved to the area with my husband, Collin, who works at Millstone, and our very spoiled fur baby, Leo the cat. Although I’m new to Rover and still fairly new to the area, I’m definitely not new to pet care. I’m 33 years old and have been pet sitting since middle school, caring for both dogs and cats through long-term stays, drop-in visits, walks, feeding routines, litter changes, and playtime. I’m patient with shy or nervous pets and always let them warm up at their own pace. One of my favorite moments was when I got a skittish dog to come over and say hi, and my niece asked if I could “speak Dog.” I can’t officially confirm, but I do have a pretty good track record with tail wags. 🐕 My background is in photography and marketing, but I recently stepped back from that field to chase my dream of becoming an author. I currently work full time however my schedule allows me to still care for your puppies! The most amount of time I’ll be away at a time is 5-6 hours. I have 3 dogs who need much attention, I make sure by the end of the night they are out of energy by playing with them and running around outside. They love getting treats after dinner too and I’m sure your puppies will be just like mine, out of energy and happy!

“I've already re-booked! The entire process with Shannon was seamless, from the meet and greet which we did in advance to Spencer's first overnight! HIGHLY recommend. When we did the meet and greet, Shannon spent about and hour with Spencer and I, giving us the opportunity to see how he interacted with her daycare dogs as well as with her personal dogs. She has a huge, fenced in yard, which is very well gated off and contained. She took the time to get him used to her outdoor area, as well as her home. I was very comfortable knowing he would be safe, and well cared for. During his overnight stay, she texted me several times, with photos and let me know he was doing well. Spencer came home from his visit tired from playing with doggie friends, and well cared for. I have already booked future visits and I highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up with a dog and cat my entire life. I have experience with training. I grew up walking my neighbors dogs. When my friend goes out of town I walk and feed her dog as well as her cat. I learn very easily so if there is specific needs for your pet, I will always follow those instructions. I have just started using the rover app and have had wonderful experiences with pets and families. I work some days during the week, but otherwise I am fully flexible.
