Availability
I do work part time Monday - Friday so my doggy daycare services are limited to the weekends. When I board dogs, I typically get them out in the morning to play for an hour extended period of time as I don't have to be to work until 10:30am. This works for most dogs as they are used to working family members.

Our yard is completely fenced in with plenty of room to run. I have crates and extra space to separate the pups if needed. Whatever your routine is with your dog, will be our routine. If they are allowed on the couch, then they will be on the couch. If they are not allowed on the furniture, we will do our best to not allow it.

Information Shannon C. would like to know about your pet
I like to ask my clients to write down the needs of their pup. With so many dogs coming and going it can be difficult to keep all the information straight. A question I get asked frequently is "do I board more than one dog at a time"? I do and that is important for new clients to know. I typically won't board a new dog with any others, but once I get to know a pup and feel comfortable, chances are they will be boarded with other furry friends. Another question I am asked quite often is, "how do I handle meal time"? All dogs, with the exception of my own, are fed separately. This is for a the safety of all dogs. Some dogs have aggression when it comes to their food, so we take zero chances when it comes to feeding time.
A typical day
Fetch is one of our favorite things to do. However, if a daily walk is what your pup needs, that is what they will get. I also like to send lots of photos and videos of your furry little loved ones having what I call a doggy vacation!

Pet care experience
I was a volunteer with Guiding Eyes for the Blind for many years. I have successfully raised and trained 3 guide dogs and have raised over 100 puppies from the age of a few days to 6 weeks for this organization. I successfully bred my Labrador, Amber and have a an excellent reputation among the families and friends of those families who have one of our dogs. I recently took a course and am now certified in Pet CPR. My husband is a longtime volunteer fireman and our daughter is a Special Education teacher. We have a clean, dog friendly home and a fenced yard. We are kind, trusting, loving, honest people and take pride in treating your pet with great care and unconditional love. I look forward to making more doggy friendships and hope you will consider me for your current and future needs. I am happy to supply references!
Reviews

Shannon is incredibly sweet and did an amazing job watching my high energy dog. She sent update photos and videos during his stay and I knew he was in great hands.
Shannon is a truly professional dog-sitter. I feel very, very comfortable leaving our dog with her knowing that she can competently handle any situation. What’s the weather in you guys are in? We’re out of West Hartford but we have a lot of summer down here projects and stuff we come down. Should we start down this way and work our way back I don’t have anything here eventually I would like to do something with this area, but it’s as you can see a shady most of the time so like ground cover just take them down and that’s the end of that so that’s not a priority. I’ll think that true whatever can grow in moist and shade. I think it would look nice kind of dream of taking some of those folders to see. I’m putting them over there cause I thought it might look nice trying to make it like a rock garden. I think it would look nice as easy to maintain that way.

Shannon was wonderful! She took Lady last minute and made us feel at ease since this was our first trip Lady has been away from us! Shannon sent us updates and a cute little video! She was so kind and gentle with her, I’d use her again if in the area!
We set up a meet and greet with Shannon to watch our 8 yr old boxer Moxie for 9 days. Right before meeting Shannon, Moxie suffered from a hemorrhaging tumor. Thankfully we were able to stabilize her and she has recovered remarkably. Moxie was still sick though and the tumor could rupture at any moment. But Shannon agreed to take her in knowing I had full confidence. If I could give Shannon a million stars I would. She was a true blessing to our family in caring for her. Not only did Moxie adjust to her home, she thrived!! Thank you Shannon, I would recommend her to anyone!!
