We had a family trip in Ohio we couldn’t miss and Elizabeth watched our new/rescue 11 month old American Bully Huey! Elizabeth was wonderful from the time we met and even when I dropped him off crying my eyes out with anxiety! She sent photo updates constantly, they treated him as if he was their own, giving him all the love and attention!! He got to play with their two pups, kids, and enjoy there wonderful fenced in backyard! They walked him and even spoiled him with a car ride to get a pup cup! Huey pretty much was on his own fun filled vacation! Elizabeth even went as far as to drop him off at our house and safely crate him the night we flew in, so he could be home when we got home. This was wonderful! She even offered to take our other dog out for a potty break when she came over to drop Huey off. She is absolutely wonderful, I have nothing but the most amazing things about her and her family! I truly can not thank you enough!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! When we went to meet her she showed us her yard and took us inside to see her house and meet her dog. While we were away she sent daily photos which was wonderful. From the moment Yarrow arrived, I could tell she was in great hands. I honestly think Yarrow believed she was on her own little vacation lol. She absolutely adored Suzanne, her wonderful kids, and the other dogs. Every update showed a happy, relaxed dog living her best life. One of the things I appreciated most was Suzanne’s communication. She sent updates, pictures, and little stories that made me smile and let me know exactly how Yarrow was doing. About: I’ve taken care of family friends and neighbors dogs and cats for over 10 years. Love being able to spend time with them and the opportunity to see them happy. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and I will take care of yours as they were my own. I love being outdoors so they won’t ever be bored. I will make sure your pup is taken care of while you are away, I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving them so I will send updates and pics to put you at ease if needed. I will adhere to rules and training that you are working on with the dog. I will ask questions to see what exactly you and they need. If needing overnight care you can be assured I will look after them and they will not be lonely. We will socialize and play until it’s time for them to go home. As a full-time stay-at-home mom, I’m home the majority of the day and able to provide consistent care and attention. I intentionally only accept one additional dog at a time so each pet receives plenty of supervision and individualized care I have one dog, Ollie, that loves to play and keep every guest company. I am in a two story duplex with a small unfenced yard, but have an outdoor lead for potty breaks and plenty of areas for walking in my neighborhood. If necessary, for separation/calm down time, I have a baby gate available that can break up my kitchen and living room and I also have a spare room upstairs. There will be no instances where our pets are left alone unmonitored for the safety of both parties.

About: Having cared for 13 dogs and 4 cats (yes, we keep count), we've seen it all. Daily exercise and even bathing is quite familiar to us. Leo has hands-on experience with animal shelters, and I have biological based experience with both nutritional needs and animal anatomy, and we both can provide basic training. We currently have a year-old golden retriever and a tabby! We've dealt with a couple lovable (but difficult) pets and can deal with issues like stubbornness, biting, and basic potty training. Leo works from home, and I'm a commuter-basically, there's always someone home! We are both the "outdoorsy" type and frequent the devil's hop yard, as well as hike through our property. As STEM majors, animals keep us sane! We can also transport your pets (we have the seating and everything). Our property has a spacious (but secure) 100-acre forest, perfect for supervised walks and exploration! At home, our pets—a friendly Golden Retriever and a sweet Tabby—ensure your furry friend will never feel lonely. We can also provide crate time if needed for safety or comfort, and (given our flexibility) tailor care routines to meet each pet’s needs!

About: I always grew up with at least 1 dog. Ray wasn't the friendliest, so I got a quick introduction to being careful with walks and strangers. Kalie was friendlier, but also liked her independence. She was the first dog I was actually able to "train". After I moved out, my parents got Sammie and Thurman, and I've been able to teach them a few tricks when I visit. I am currently off for the summer (teacher) and have almost every weekday completely free. I'm good about scheduling and organizing my time. When school starts back up, availability would change. Safety is my number one priority. I am very aware of body language in animals, and would never force an uncomfortable situation onto a pet. I would go at the animal's pace to make sure it's as pleasant of a visit as possible.

About: I've lived with dogs nearly my whole life, and cats for half of it. I have taken care of said pets for years and been an in-family pet sitter on numerous occasions. My mother frequently cares for other pets through apps like this/through friends, and I assist her with that when needed. At the moment, I care for my mother's pets when she leaves town for any length of time (1 small/medium dog, 1 cat). Otherwise, I'm a free agent. Some of the services listed on the app have the potential to overlap (such as a visit and a walk), I don't consider the price to be totally compounding, just let me know and we can figure out what works best. I'd imagine this is on a situational basis. I'll pet/feed/walk them and am able to follow directions as well as any human, should your pet require specific, or unique, handling. I can usually read pet body language pretty well, but have no specific training in it. If there are any areas of confusion for me, I'll be sure to ask questions to make sure your pet is cared for properly.

“If I could give 5,000 stars I would… Elizabeth and her family are absolutely wonderful! I have never used Rover or left my fur babies with a stranger before and needless to say, I was a MESS! We had a family trip in Ohio we couldn’t miss and Elizabeth watched our new/rescue 11 month old American Bully Huey! Elizabeth was wonderful from the time we met and even when I dropped him off crying my eyes out with anxiety! She sent photo updates constantly, they treated him as if he was their own, giving him all the love and attention!! He got to play with their two pups, kids, and enjoy there wonderful fenced in backyard! They walked him and even spoiled him with a car ride to get a pup cup! Huey pretty much was on his own fun filled vacation! Elizabeth even went as far as to drop him off at our house and safely crate him the night we flew in, so he could be home when we got home. This was wonderful! She even offered to take our other dog out for a potty break when she came over to drop Huey off. From the moment Yarrow arrived, I could tell she was in great hands. I honestly think Yarrow believed she was on her own little vacation lol. “I was extremely nervous leaving our 1 year old with someone other than my family as she hasn't left us since we adopted last July. However, my fears were calmed leaving Demi with Nuno. My husband had a great meet and greet and then she stayed with Nuno for a couple nights. Nuno has a wonderful friendly dog, Bisca, and a large yard for the dogs to play. “Crystal was absolutely wonderful looking after our dog over the Christmas period. She sent regular updates and photos/videos, which really kept our minds at ease while we were away. Earlier in the year, our dog spent three days at a kennel and struggled quite a bit, so we were understandably anxious about leaving him again. The difference with Crystal was night and day. He spent seven nights in a loving home environment, had so much fun with the other dogs, and received genuine care and attention from Crystal and her family.
