“It’s always really difficult to leave your furbabies behind for a few hours. But we were more at ease when we saw all the great pictures of our doodle during her walk and although I only booked a session for one dog. Deborah took her time to add fresh water and give our senior dog extra cuddles. We appreciate you! Will definitely book again in the future. Thank you!”

“Susan did a wonderful job taking care of my pets this weekend! She was able to schedule a meet-and-greet on short notice and was very thorough collecting the care instructions for my two large dogs and three cats. She was so patient with my very large and active Labradoodle and St. Bernadoodle. My dogs seemed very attached to her quite quickly and she did a fantastic job with them. She arrived promptly according to the care schedule, sent detailed updates and was extremely professional and lovely to work with. I am so happy to have found such an excellent sitter in my area and will gladly continue to rebook Susan!! Highly recommended!”

About: I am a volunteer at a no kill cat shelter. I have some experience administering medicine. One of our bunnies became handicapped, so he lived in the house with us, and I cared for him with such love and extra attention. Our aging dog could no longer see the stairs well, so we carried him. I do what it takes to make mine and your pets feel so loved. I recently chose to resign from a 28-year position working at a college and have lots of time on my hands. I am happy to help you! My pets are spoiled, as they all should be. They have lots of toys, kitty trees, hammocks, safe plants, treats, dry and wet food twice daily, clean water dishes daily, clean litter boxes and scoops frequently and regular scheduled visits to the vets to. I own two cat carrying back packs and take them for walks and to a friend who lives in an assisted living environment and when I bring the kitties in, it puts a smile on all the residents there. I also care about the animals outside and feed the birds, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits and the occasional deer, opossum and raccoon. I pay attention to detail and always make sure that my pets and others are cared for with that extra touch of love!

“China is a responsible and caring individual who we are happy to have look after our pup weekly. Her communication is always quick and she does more than needed taking our pup for his walks. Very grateful!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and currently have six kitties and one high-energy dog, (his name is Rover, for real)! He’s a hound mix, 80ish pound rescue who keeps me busy! I’ve often helped my kids with their pet sitting work, and enjoy animals immensely!! I work part-time in Westerly, and would love to add pet sitting and/or dog walking to my day. I’m currently available 7am-6pm Monday through Thursday, but at some point around mid Oct, my availability will be 3-6pm Mondays through Wednesdays, and 2pm - 6pm on Thursdays. Generally a dog walk would include only your dog(s), I don’t double up clients. I walk for a full 30 minutes, and then play, cuddle and take some notes for 10-15 minutes so the rate for service is for about 45 minutes. Same for drop in visits, I will keep your cat(s) and or dog(s) happy by hanging out with them, especially for med visits and just people time. I never let my dog off leash unless we are in a fenced in area. We are very safe by walking only on sidewalks and we generally avoid other animals if we can help it just to be on the safe side.
