About: I’ve spent 6 years working at a puppy store dealing with temperaments of 50+ different dog breeds. At this work place I groomed puppies, fed them, cleaned up after them, and gave them tons of affection! I also have personal experience with administering pet medication, as well as dealing with deaf canines. I’m currently working part-time so I have some availability for your fur babies! I am available for dog walking, drop-in, and doggy daycare Mondays-Wednesdays all day! I do also have availability Thursday-Sunday in the evenings. No matter where I pet sit, my priority is to make sure your fur baby is comfortable and well cared for. I respect and maintain a tidy area at your home just as I do mine.

About: Aside from having a dog of my own, I've spent my whole life around dogs of all sizes through family and friends. I often dog sit friends and coworkers and have hands-on experience caring for different breeds and temperaments. I'm also a Husky Handler for Jonathan the Husky at the University of Connecticut, where I help care for and handle him at events. I have a huge soft spot for animals and am committed to making every pet feel loved and happy in my care. When not in school, my schedule can be very flexible and I can often accommodate short-notice requests. During the semester, I'm generally more open on the weekends than weekdays; however, depending on the time and location, I'm happy to find a schedule that will work. I prioritise keeping pets comfortable and safe, while maintaining their normal routines, whether they have specific exercise schedules, medications to take, etc. I carefully follow any and all instructions provided, and I also make sure all pets receive plenty of attention and companionship so they feel secure while their owner is away. I respect each client's home by keeping everything clean and organised, and am happy to provide regular updates on pets for owners' peace of mind.

About: Animals have played a meaningful role throughout my life, and I genuinely appreciate the joy and companionship they bring. From a young age, my family instilled in me the importance of loving, respecting, and properly caring for animals—especially our cats and dog. Over the years, I’ve helped not only my own family but also friends and neighbors care for their pets. Even though I don’t currently have any animals of my own, I still value and cherish the ones I encounter on my life’s journey. Somehow, there’s always room in my heart for them—how could there not be? I’ve truly been around animals since birth. Growing up in my grandparents’ home, I was surrounded by multiple cats. My grandmother took the time to teach me how to properly feed and care for each of them. I helped by giving them food, cleaning up after them, and watching over them when she was away. These early experiences taught me a lot about responsibility and compassion. As I got older, my parents adopted a yellow lab puppy. My dad showed my sister and I how to care for him, and I took on many responsibilities. In addition to babysitting my sister, I was in charge of feeding the dog, letting him out, and spending time playing with him. Those moments helped deepen my connection to animals and reinforced just how rewarding it is to care for them. Pet care is my primary profession, and it’s one I truly love. Working with animals brings me a deep sense of fulfillment, and the flexibility of this vocation aligns perfectly with my independent nature. I greatly value having control over my schedule, which allows me to pursue multiple interests simultaneously. Currently, I’m working toward a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, and the adaptable nature of my pet care work enables me to attend classes, study effectively, and still have time for hobbies and personal passions. It's a peaceful, honest way to make a living, and the variety of animals I get to care for keeps each day unique and rewarding. I typically front-load my day with more demanding tasks, reserving the latter part for lighter, more enjoyable work—a rhythm that helps me maintain a healthy and productive balance. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect and care I would give my own. I'm mindful of my surroundings and ensure everything is left exactly as I found it. I always refill water bowls, offer treats (either my own or those provided by the owner), and clean up after rainy or muddy outings—drying off your pet as needed. I consider your pets my honored guests. Their comfort, happiness, and well-being are my top priorities. I take the time to connect with each animal, playing, petting, and bonding with them on their terms. Whether it's getting down to their level for a proper introduction or engaging with them until they're fully content, I aim to make every visit a positive, enriching experience.

About: I have extensive experience pet sitting for dogs (all ages), cats, rabbits, chickens and other birds, small mammals, and farm animals, including animals with special medical needs. I also have experiencw with exotic pets. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. I have been a volunteer for both an animal shelter and a local animal rescue league chapter, as well as at many events that benefit animals, and have had pets of my own since childhood. I currently live with a wonderful, sweet, sassy 7 year old female Corgi. I owned 2 wonderful Siberian Huskies who lived to be seniors, and in the course, required regular medications, special diet, physical therapy exercises, assisted walking, and wound cleaning, so I am very familiar with dealing with health issues, and am able to recognize when an animal is in any distress. As I believe emotional well-being is just as important as physical, I will always spend time with your pet, or exercise him/her with his/her favorite toy or game. “I found Danielle to be adaptable, flexible, communicative, open, reliable, trustworthy, dependable. She did exactly what she said she was going to do and more. She was available last minute to come watch/walk my dogs twice a day every day for seven days. She did not miss one day. She was here at the same time every day by 3:30 p.m.and again by 8. p.m. she used the Rover app extensively, I knew through Rover when she left the house when she was on her walk and when she returns the house. She sent pictures of the dogs. And she even fed the cats for me because I needed to have the cats occupied while she left the house so they wouldn’t try to slip out. I have three indoor cats. She went over and above my expectations. I am so so thankful the couple that I had planned to watch my dogs canceled on me 36 hours before my flight out. I needed someone desperately and three people were available. I chose Danielle because of her self reported review, and when she came to the house, her demeanor, confidence, ability to deal with the barking dogs and excitability of one of my dogs showed me that she could handle just about anything. I will be traveling again soon. Danielle will be my go to. Even if I have to leave the house for an entire day, I will be using Rover to schedule with Danielle she’s the best. So so so thankful that the first couple ditched me because I would never ever have met such a capable person like Danielle. There wasn’t a moment that I worried about my animals. Nor my house. She is so flexible that she had no problem canceling the last day due to my flight being on time, and me returning to the home an hour before her scheduled dog walk. She’s wonderful. My only problem with Danielle is I’m afraid she’ll be so busy after people read my review that she won’t have time to squeeze me into her schedule. She’s a keeper for sure.”

About: I've been taking care of animals my whole life! I have experience with dogs, cats, large animals, reptiles and pocket pets. I have the knowledge to handle emergency situations if needed and can administer injections, sub Q fluids, medications etc. I offers nail trimming for well behaved dogs/cats. Have a high energy dog that needs a little extra enrichment? No problem! I love to hike and can offer basic training as well! My animals are my life, so let me take care of yours like they're my own! About: Frequently dog and cat sat for friends and family. Growing up my mom had close to 10 pets at any given time sometimes more. My current apartment doesn’t let me have any pets myself, so I would love to spend time with yours! I work full time from home which gives me flexibility. I’m available both before and after work on weekdays and can assist during the day as well if needed. Any time on weekends works when I’m around! I love play time with all pets! I enjoy being outside so it makes going for walks or playing in your yard easy for me.

When my friend goes out of town I walk and feed her dog as well as her cat. I learn very easily so if there is specific needs for your pet, I will always follow those instructions.
