About: I have a special connection with dogs and have been around them my entire life. A greater part of my childhood was spent on my step-mothers farm. This is where my love of animals began as I took care of horses, goats, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I learned a lot about what a huge responsibility a pet can be but also how rewarding it is to care for one. I have no fear of getting messy, whether its hair, drool, or mud. I treat other peoples pets as I would my own. I currently have two cats named Elrond and Lewis. They are very spoiled. My animals bring a lot of joy and entertainment to my life. While my availability does vary I tend to be very flexible. I will go the extra mile to make sure your pets are taken care of. I would be glad to play with them and bath them if at all needed. My schedule is currently wide open! My husband is military so this is a great way for me to temporarily make money, while on the hunt for a full time job. I will make sure your pets are comfortable with me when I initially greet them! I know how my pets can be unsure of strangers and I want them to feel safe.

About: I have had dogs since I was 8 years old and I truly enjoy all the warmth and love a dog brings into a home. I have taken in senior dogs (10+) over the years and had extensive experience with blind, and deaf senior dogs. I have experience with incontinence, mobility issues, special dietary needs, medication injections, and palliative care. I also have experience with young puppies (under 6 months) along with experience doing dog training with my own dogs throughout my life. Both me and my husband have transitioned to remote work so we are home throughout the day, which is excellent for senior dogs who need extra care. I have a partially fenced in yard and live close to several hiking trails. Depending on your dogs needs, the amount of time between potty breaks can be adjusted as well as the amount of exercise given throughout the day. Dogs are all fed separately while water is available at all times. I do have a 3 year old rat terrier (19 pounds) who loves any and all dogs she meets - she has been around many senior dogs.

About: I have been handling and training dogs at daycares, puppy and adult day schools, and pet stores for over a decade, and I’m currently working on my certification through the Karen Pryor Academy for professional dog trainers. I prioritize safety and the use of positive reinforcement to keep dogs physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy, and I particularly enjoy helping fearful dogs become more calm and confident with clicker training. Right now I’m in the process of writing a business plan for my own company, so my availability is wide open for the time being. I am gentle, but firm and consistent. I use treats and other rewards paired with a marker to reinforce and shape the behaviors I want, and will use ‘time outs” to enforce necessary boundaries. Your dog will not pull me or get away with problem behaviors, but I also make sure not to be scary and to spend more time rewarding them when they do well. My home now has a large area with a 4ft chain link fence and a smaller potty area with a 6 ft stockade fence that exits from the basement for jumpers, puppies, and reactive dogs. I’m 20 yards away from a system of trails that I can use to hike dogs, as well as being in a neighborhood that can be used to work on distractions.

“Ashley arrived on time and walked my dog with no issues - I will be booking her weekly! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and my dog loves her!”

Unless specified otherwise, your pet will become just part of our family, granting them the freedom to roam certain areas of the house. Our couches and chairs are open for their lounging pleasure, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. To maintain a harmonious feeding routine, your pet will be provided separate mealtimes, distinct from our own animals and children. Rest assured that while under our care, your beloved pet will receive individualized attention, an inviting environment, and the utmost consideration for their comfort and safety.

About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. I will stay at your home if needed , schedule potty break services as well. I work at an elementary school so let out before I go to work and right after, evenings and bed time. I will take care of pets in clients home with care plan that fits the pets needs. Give them plenty of attention and care to take away any worries when you are away.

About: I have pet sat many cats and dogs before. I get along very well with animals, and I love being around them. People I have pet sat for before relied on me to walk, feed, play, and bathe their pets. I am currently on summer break from college, and offering ample time for pet care. I am seeking fun and fulfilling activities during my break. I offer plenty of playtime and will give tons of love to keep your pet happy. If I'm caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their instructions closely, maintaining their routine and environment as much as possible while providing the same level of care and attention.

“Stacey was fabulous. I would definitely recommend her to others.”

About: Hi, I’m Caroline! I’ve had the joy of owning several dogs, and my friends often trust me to care for theirs when they’re away. I’m patient, energetic, and absolutely love going on long walks. Originally from Massachusetts, I now spend most of my time in Connecticut. When your dog is with me, you can be sure they’ll get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I enjoy visiting parks, walking paths, and trails, and I’m happy to match any dog’s energy level—whether they love staying active or prefer some cozy cuddle time. I’m here to provide loving care, including feeding, walking, playtime, and even light cleaning if needed. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’d love the chance to spend quality time with yours! During the week, I have a lot of flexibility working remote so I can be around in the mornings, afternoons or evenings. Additionally, on the weekends I am almost always available! I will treat your home as if it was mine. I am clean and professional and will follow any instructions provided for your dogs needs.

About: I've taken care of my own, family members and friends pets since I was 16 years old. I have also assisted one of my former dogs with her birth. It was magical. I love dogs! I'm also a certified Pet CPR and First Aide. Thanks for reading ❤️❤️❤️ Tues till Sat from 8am till 5pm is when we are open! I do drop in visits at your home and house sitting at your home as well :) I bring along everywhere with me in the home and out if you're OK with that. And I go to client homes to provide my services too! I also pet groom!

About: Hey I'm Kate! I am a professional dog groomer for over 15 years now and have always loved to care for animals. I personally have 3 dogs, a labradoodle, golden doodle and bichon-poo. (Hence the title) Caring for dogs has always meant alot to me, senior ones especially. I grew up as an only child so my dogs were my best friends and were the absolute world to me! Nothing compares to the love and loyalty of a pup. 💜 Most week days I am free after 3. I have more open availability on Sundays and Mondays. Some early mornings would also be available with enough notice I am a home owner with a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of grass to lounge around on :) All three of my dogs have been socialized since they were puppies, I brought each one back and forth to the groom shop with me so they had the opportunity to meet all kinds of dogs (and humans)

About: Animals have played a significant role throughout my life, and I genuinely appreciate them. My family taught me to love, respect, and care for our cats and dog properly growing up. In the past, I have helped my family, neighbors, and friends care for their pets. Although I currently do not have any pets, I still value the animals who find me along my life's journey. I always seem to have a place for them in my heart. How can you not? I can easily say that I have been around animals since birth. Even more so, it is even easier to say that I love animals. Raised in my grandparent's home, I grew up with multiple cats. My grandmother first hand taught me how to feed and take care of each cat she had adequately. Over the years, I had given food to her cats, cleaned up after them, and watched them when she was away. In my teenage years, my parents adopted a yellow lab, which they still house. Taking him in as a puppy, my Dad taught my sister and me plenty about caring for a dog. Besides babysitting my sister, I would be in charge of feeding our dog, letting him out to use the bathroom, and playing with him. Pet care is my primary job. I love animals, and the freedom that this vocation awards is vast, as I am someone who values a flexible schedule and someone who chooses to work independently. This factor also allows me to have my hands in other business ventures. I'm currently pursuing a career in cybersecurity and working towards my bachelor's degree. Pet care allows me to attend my classes and, study promptly, enjoy other hobbies and passions while having the pleasure to work with various animals. It is a peaceful and honest means of making a living. I tend to get my more challenging work done with during the first phase of my day and schedule the "fun" work as my second phase. A healthy balance indeed. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat the space as I would my own home. I am respectful and mindful. I make sure it is left the way I found it. I refill water bowls, I give treats, whether my own or those left by the owner, I clean up messes after a rainy/muddy day, and I dry off the pet if need be. I treat your pets as if they are my guest. I make sure they are comfortable, entertained, appreciated, and understood. I will play, I will get down low and introduce myself and pet endlessly to their heart's desire.

“Nicholas has been great with our reactive dog. She’s slow to warm up, but he’s had a great attitude and now she wants belly rubs every time he comes. He’s been super responsive if there’s ever an accident. So glad to have found him!”

14. Caroline A.
“Caroline is one of the best Rover sitters, that I have left my pets with. Considering I have 2 rather large labs, finding a sitter can sometimes be daunting, this being said I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter to not only take care of them for the weekend; but provide them with a safe environment. Caroline also sent me photos of my 2 pets a few times a day. I would definitely recommend Caroline to sit your animals!”

15. Jessica P.
“Jessica is enthusiastic about dogs and animals in general. Her love for animals carries into the way she cares for dogs. She has a way of making dogs feel at ease and she is great at making sure they don't get into trouble.”

16. Katelyn L.
“SHE'S AN INCREDIBLE FIND! ...and I should know! I discovered this wonderful woman by chance... I took my adopted Shih Tzu, Broccoli, for his first grooming and we instantly liked his groomer, Katelyn... When I picked him up, Ketelyn made a comment about him being well behaved and said she just loved little dogs...which is kind of funny because her dogs are quite large. Long story short, I took advantage of that and she has been taking care of my little boy for over a year. I don't trust anyone else with him! Her dogs are big but sooo very gentle with small dogs. They play great together and Broccoli is ALWAYS excited to see them!”

17. John K.
“We would definitely recommend John. We have used him for walking our rescue dog Toby last minute. He was patient and really good with him.”

18. Nicholas J.
