About: I have had dogs since I was 8 years old and I truly enjoy all the warmth and love a dog brings into a home. I have taken in senior dogs (10+) over the years and had extensive experience with blind, and deaf senior dogs. I have experience with incontinence, mobility issues, special dietary needs, medication injections, and palliative care. I also have experience with young puppies (under 6 months) along with experience doing dog training with my own dogs throughout my life. Both me and my husband have transitioned to remote work so we are home throughout the day, which is excellent for senior dogs who need extra care. I have a partially fenced in yard and live close to several hiking trails. Depending on your dogs needs, the amount of time between potty breaks can be adjusted as well as the amount of exercise given throughout the day. Dogs are all fed separately while water is available at all times. I do have a 3 year old rat terrier (19 pounds) who loves any and all dogs she meets - she has been around many senior dogs.

About: New to Rover but not to pet sitting! My family has had dogs my whole life. As the oldest child in my household, I was responsible for all the little guys. Now I have an adorable, sassy cat at home who is a constant reminder of respectful boundaries and unconditional love. I’ve been a contact for family and friends when they need someone to watch or check in with their fur babies. I always want to make sure you and your pet are comfortable around me. In the future, I expect to be working part to full time during normal workweek hours 9-5, so would have more availability in early mornings and evenings. I have a fenced in yard and am nearby many dog-friendly trails. To stay at my home, your dog must be comfortable with cats, potty trained, and overall well-behaved. My cat has not had experience with other cats in our home so that is not something I am comfortable with. Around your home, I am happy to stick to whatever practices and routines are familiar and comfortable for your pet.

About: Hey I'm Kate! I am a professional dog groomer for over 15 years now and have always loved to care for animals. I personally have 3 dogs, a labradoodle, golden doodle and bichon-poo. (Hence the title) Caring for dogs has always meant alot to me, senior ones especially. I grew up as an only child so my dogs were my best friends and were the absolute world to me! Nothing compares to the love and loyalty of a pup. 💜 Most week days I am free after 3. I have more open availability on Sundays and Mondays. Some early mornings would also be available with enough notice I am a home owner with a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of grass to lounge around on :) All three of my dogs have been socialized since they were puppies, I brought each one back and forth to the groom shop with me so they had the opportunity to meet all kinds of dogs (and humans)

About: My family has fostered dogs since I was in middle school. I have taken dogs to events to meet prospective adopters and have cared for 13 dogs in the household at once. For almost 2 years I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility while in college. There I supervise groups of dogs and correct unwanted behavior while giving pets and love so that dogs have a good time while they are with us. I also do a lot of cleaning where I work. I am not afraid to get dirty or clean up poop, I have been doing it for years with many different animals. I have had a cat since I was in elementary school and occasionally we have cats board at the facility I work at while in school. I am currently doing a full time internship, so this will be part-time work. I am available all day Friday and Saturday, as well as evenings every other day of the week. I end at different times for my internship but generally I can do starting at 6pm. I am very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and am able to give lots of snuggles. I am able to crate a pet if needed and correct bad behaviors if needed as I am in school for animal behavior.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I've taken care of them from when they were babies until old age. I've been training my family dogs since highschool. I just finished up a masters degree. About: just last year I recently started in the pet care industry in Raleigh NC, i dog walked and dog sat from 1 dog to 3 dogs at a time while finishing my degree. I am a dog mom to 4 Pups who are 3, 2 and almost 1 years old! i have had dogs since i was a child. I even had a liter of 12 healthy pups to care for 2 years ago, and last year a liter of 7! i am truly the definition of a dog lover i currently work full time here on Mashantucket reservation from 9am-5pm sometimes work from home. i am available weekends, as well as weekdays after 5pm. some days are different than others Caring for pets inside of the clients home would include their pets daily activities, taking them on walks, playing with them inside, feeding and offering treats when needed!
