“Melissa was amazing and took excellent care of our three babies while we were gone for three weeks! We have one very shy boy who normally hides when there are new people around but he loved her visits, coming up to her for treats! That tells me all I need to know about Melissa and the love she gave them while we were gone. Thank you so much Melissa! ❤️”

“Always a little scary leaving your family pets in the care of a stranger, but after our meet & greet with Elizabeth I knew she was the right one! Our cats need daily meds which can be challenging, and she took this on without hesitation. She went above and beyond and cleaned the litter boxes out and put new litter in before we came home which was a wonderful surprise, and we’re so appreciative of it. I would absolutely recommend her and use her again to watch our cats in the future!”

“Rebekah was wonderful with our kitties and sent us pictures daily. We will definitely use her anytime we need a sitter for them and/or our pups!”

Tina did a great job keeping him inside and did not take on any dogs to watch while he was there. She constantly updated me with pictures and texts and treated our Oscar like he was her own. ❤️”

“Ashley took great care of our kitty while we were away, especially with him on multiple medications. He is super comfortable with her and absolutely adores her.”

About: I have had dogs since I was 8 years old and I truly enjoy all the warmth and love a dog brings into a home. I have taken in senior dogs (10+) over the years and had extensive experience with blind, and deaf senior dogs. I have experience with incontinence, mobility issues, special dietary needs, medication injections, and palliative care. I also have experience with young puppies (under 6 months) along with experience doing dog training with my own dogs throughout my life. Both me and my husband have transitioned to remote work so we are home throughout the day, which is excellent for senior dogs who need extra care. I have a partially fenced in yard and live close to several hiking trails. Depending on your dogs needs, the amount of time between potty breaks can be adjusted as well as the amount of exercise given throughout the day. Dogs are all fed separately while water is available at all times. I do have a 3 year old rat terrier (19 pounds) who loves any and all dogs she meets - she has been around many senior dogs.

About: New to Rover but not to pet sitting! My family has had dogs my whole life. As the oldest child in my household, I was responsible for all the little guys. Now I have an adorable, sassy cat at home who is a constant reminder of respectful boundaries and unconditional love. I’ve been a contact for family and friends when they need someone to watch or check in with their fur babies. I always want to make sure you and your pet are comfortable around me. I would be honored to care for your best friend. Don't hesitate to ask any questions regarding my services and we’ll see if I’m a good fit for you. I am currently in between jobs so I have a wide range of availability! In the future, I expect to be working part to full time during normal workweek hours 9-5, so would have more availability in early mornings and evenings. I have a fenced in yard and am nearby many dog-friendly trails. To stay at my home, your dog must be comfortable with cats, potty trained, and overall well-behaved. My cat has not had experience with other cats in our home so that is not something I am comfortable with. Around your home, I am happy to stick to whatever practices and routines are familiar and comfortable for your pet.

“John was really great and patient with my very skittish dog.”

About: Hey I'm Kate! I am a professional dog groomer for over 15 years now and have always loved to care for animals. I personally have 3 dogs, a labradoodle, golden doodle and bichon-poo. (Hence the title) Caring for dogs has always meant alot to me, senior ones especially. I grew up as an only child so my dogs were my best friends and were the absolute world to me! Nothing compares to the love and loyalty of a pup. 💜 Most week days I am free after 3. I have more open availability on Sundays and Mondays. Some early mornings would also be available with enough notice I am a home owner with a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of grass to lounge around on :) All three of my dogs have been socialized since they were puppies, I brought each one back and forth to the groom shop with me so they had the opportunity to meet all kinds of dogs (and humans)

About: My family has fostered dogs since I was in middle school. I have taken dogs to events to meet prospective adopters and have cared for 13 dogs in the household at once. For almost 2 years I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility while in college. There I supervise groups of dogs and correct unwanted behavior while giving pets and love so that dogs have a good time while they are with us. I also do a lot of cleaning where I work. I am not afraid to get dirty or clean up poop, I have been doing it for years with many different animals. I have had a cat since I was in elementary school and occasionally we have cats board at the facility I work at while in school. I am currently doing a full time internship, so this will be part-time work. I am available all day Friday and Saturday, as well as evenings every other day of the week. I end at different times for my internship but generally I can do starting at 6pm. I am very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and am able to give lots of snuggles. I am able to crate a pet if needed and correct bad behaviors if needed as I am in school for animal behavior.

About: With nearly two decades of experience, I possess a strong background in pet care, including being a college vet tech student and trained in animal CPR. I have worked with a variety of animals over the years, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and horses. My passion and love for all animals has driven me to learn the best methods of care for them. I previously ran my own dog sitting business, offering services such as walking, exercise, grooming, and administering medications. Special skills, such as training puppies and providing senior care, further strengthen my ability to meet the unique needs of each pet under my care. I’m seeking opportunities to incorporate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I am wholeheartedly committed to fulfilling your fur babies' needs, whether it's providing care while you're away on vacation or offering assistance during your busy workdays. I am committed to providing my undivided attention and love to your pets, ensuring they receive the care, affection, and exercise they deserve. From regular walks and playtime to feeding and grooming, I take pride in catering to your pets' individual requirements, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and cherished in your absence. My devotion to pet care allows you to have peace of mind, knowing your beloved companions are in reliable and caring hands. I have experience in pet and house sitting, ensuring all aspects of pet care, feeding, daily walks, playtime, and training are attended to. My training as a Veterinarian Technician from Carrington College and life experience have equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide unparalleled care for your pets. I believe that consistency, patience, and care play pivotal roles in a dog's behavior and well-being, and I apply these principles to every interaction with my own dog and all the animals I come across professionally or personally. I look forward to earning your trust and your pet’s love!

“My dogs love Stacey! Im glad we went with her. She does a good job with them and I thankful for her to help us out while we are at work. I would recommend her.”

About: With 13 years of experience, I care for pets of all ages—puppies to seniors. What truly sets me apart as a pet sitter is the level of care, attention, and heart I bring to every animal I look after. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all pet sitting—every pet is unique, and I tailor my care to match their individual routines, personalities, and preferences. Whether it’s maintaining a strict feeding schedule, keeping up with daily walks, or simply spending quality time playing or cuddling, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and understood in your absence. I have extensive experience with a wide range of animals, including those with special needs such as senior pets, animals with anxiety, or those requiring regular medications. I’m confident in providing not only basic care but also the kind of gentle, attentive support that pets with extra needs require. My calm demeanor and understanding of pet behavior allow me to build trust quickly, even with shy or nervous animals. Communication is key when someone else is caring for your furry family members, so I prioritize regular updates. I send messages, photos, and videos so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured that they’re happy and in great hands. I want you to be able to truly relax while you’re away, knowing your pet is not just being looked after, but genuinely cared for. In addition to being loving and attentive, I’m also well-prepared for emergencies. I stay calm under pressure and know how to respond quickly if something unexpected arises, from minor injuries to more serious situations. This preparedness ensures that your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I strive to create a nurturing, home-like environment filled with comfort, routine, and affection. I genuinely love animals, and that passion comes through in everything I do—from the wag of a tail to the purr of a happy cat, I thrive on making pets feel secure and content.
