“Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Forest this weekend. It means the world to us knowing he was safe, happy, and loved while we were away. Your kindness, reliability, and genuine care gave us complete peace of mind, and we’re so grateful for the time and attention you gave him. We truly appreciate you and feel lucky to have someone we can trust with our furry family member. With heartfelt thanks, Dave and Ana”

“Karen took our Poodle puppy on a last minute request and we’re so happy she did! She stayed in contact throughout, sent tons of photos and videos and was very flexible with pickup and drop off time. She even gave us a little parting gift! Would definitely recommend Karen if you are in the New London/Mystic area!”

“This was my first time using Rover/dog sitter and I was nervous leaving my two girls with strangers. After doing a meet and greet with the sitter I felt I made the right decision and was less nervous. I love the care they received with the sitter and their family. Daily updates, pictures and videos showed me just how happy my girls were. I will definitely book with Francis E and her family again, without any hesitation.”

“Elisa was wonderful with communication and updates for my Bru, as well as very responsive. Very easy and professional to book with and very trustworthy. Would absolutely use her services again in the future. 🐾”

“Brittany was AMAZING! Our dog, Bailey was only 18 weeks old and she knew all the right things to do with a puppy. We never worried once about his care. She sent pictures every day of his antics which made us laugh but also convinced us that he was happy and loved. She was in tune with his quirky personality, from his removal of ALL the toys from the toy box before deciding what to play with, to helping with the laundry by stealing the socks, to proudly carrying things around that he “found” . AND Brittany was reasonably priced. We will use her again in a heartbeat. We felt so incredibly blessed to have found her. We can’t thank her enough for making our vacation stress free.”

“Super accommodating with the short notice booking I requested! Steph is bright and friendly. She let me know if there were any issues with my pup. Would book with her again!”

“Moby, a clinger, was in a total comfort zone amongst this loving family. Care was complete + a boot camp of healthy activity. Other 🐾 campers alongside was great for his social abilities. Now, our go-to when we have to be away!”

“Dawn was great! She got back to me quickly when we were planning a last minute trip. Her place was very nice: really big yard, friendly dogs and people. My older dog was very comfortable there and I left him with no worries. She sent pictures during his stay. All in all, a great experience for me and my dog.”

“Crystal is incredibly trustworthy, reliable, and always takes such great care of Chip. You can genuinely tell how much she loves animals, which gives us complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring to look after their pets.”

“As always Dana is a sweetheart! Looks after Enzo as if he is one of her own. He is super comfortable there and excited to hang out when I drop him off. We'll be back! Thanks Dana!”

“Torie was great with our two morkies, one of which has PLE and has some intense dietary restrictions. She was very communicative and quick to respond during the stay! Thank you Torie!”

“Sydney took such great care of our dog. She was understanding of the dog’s needs and ours to make our vacation easy. She made sure there was harmony for everyone in her home, pampered our dog more than we do at home, sent us pup updates (“pupdates”, lol) so we could see her experience. Would recommend Sydney’s pup sitting. We will again.”
“Laura did a fantastic job with our 8-month-old Great Dane, who was anxious about being left alone. She provided plenty of updates and reassurance while taking excellent care of our pup!”

“Tina did an outstanding job taking care of our English Bulldog Boomer while we were on vacation. Easy drop-off and pick-up, and we received regular photos and updates. Will definitely be using her again. Thank you, Tina!”

“Elizabeth is fantastic! I’ve never used Rover before and this was a great first experience! Elizabeth got my SUPER shy cat to come out and was able to give him his meds! That is not an easy feat! She spent lots of time at each visit and sent tons of pictures and videos! That helped ease my very anxious daughter that her baby was being well taken care of! I will absolutely use Elizabeth in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great reliable pet sitter! Thanks Elizabeth for taking such great care of our cats!”

About: My experience includes working with horses, donkeys, sheep, chickens, fish, reptiles, birds and more. I have my own dog Paul, and I've owned dogs and cats in the past as well. My most recent certification is in wildife rehabilitation, and I work part-time as an educator at an aquarium. I surround myself with animals and I hope to do so for the rest of my life. I work on Sundays and Mondays, volunteer on Thursdays, and may be called in on other days. I am responsible for my own animals at home as well. As long as I have time to plan for animal care for others, I will make that care a priority. Clearly written instructions on specific care for your animals is appreciated, but I can use my knowledge and experience to make the right calls if anything comes up.

“Brie is super patient and devoted to caring for my cat while I’m traveling for work. She even dropped in for extra days when I feared my cat had gotten stuck or injured. My kitty is very cautious and shy but Brie has managed to break the ice with her and they are slowly becoming friends. I appreciate that she takes the time to gain my cat’s trust.”

About: I am a weekly volunteer at Kitty Harbor in Griswold so when it comes to cats, I am experienced in all sorts of mishaps- litter accidents, dirty butt, scratch boo boos, and more. I am also experienced in administering medication. Of course, if you're kitty has a way that works for them, then that's how we'll get it done! A cat lover at heart, I am a one-time cat Mom who lost hers way too young (cancer sucks!!). I fill my heart every week with all my shelter kitties and would love to be able to open my heart to yours as well.

“Natalie stayed for two weeks with our cat who is turning 16 next month. She did a fabulous job caring for our cat. I felt very comfortable having Natalie watching her. Natalie made sure to keep us updated. I never had the thought of I hope everything is ok but I knew if I needed to I could reach out anytime and Natalie would respond. Not only did Natalie take great care of our cat but she also kept an eye on the house. I would not hesitate to have Natalie back and am so happy to have found her!”

“I have been working with Emily for over a year and she is absolutely wonderful! I feel completely at ease knowing she's checking in on my kitty, and kitty LOVES her. “Elizabeth and her family took such good care of our dog for the day. “I can’t say enough good things about Sue! She was so incredibly accommodating and patient with my dog. My dog, Sadie, was uncharacteristically anxious and scared on our vacation. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. Sue gave Sadie so much love and attention the whole time I was at the aquarium. I was able to have a good time, knowing my dog was in good hands. Sue kept me updated on Sadie’s progress with texts, pictures and videos. I am so very grateful and would recommend Sue to anyone seeking a great pet sitter!”

“Susan has been taking such care with my English Bulldog, George, when she takes him on walks. It has been a huge relief to have a responsible, caring person walking my dog while I am away from home for extended time.”

“Sara has been incredible with our dogs. There are three of them, all big, two with substantial anxiety, and none of them is really leash trained. In other words, they're a handful. We have been floored by Sara's insight, skill, patience, and warmth. She has charmed our dogs and left us feeling confident that they are in capable, kind hands. About: I've lived with dogs nearly my whole life, and cats for half of it. I have taken care of said pets for years and been an in-family pet sitter on numerous occasions. My mother frequently cares for other pets through apps like this/through friends, and I assist her with that when needed. At the moment, I care for my mother's pets when she leaves town for any length of time (1 small/medium dog, 1 cat). Otherwise, I'm a free agent. Some of the services listed on the app have the potential to overlap (such as a visit and a walk), I don't consider the price to be totally compounding, just let me know and we can figure out what works best. I'd imagine this is on a situational basis. I'll pet/feed/walk them and am able to follow directions as well as any human, should your pet require specific, or unique, handling. I can usually read pet body language pretty well, but have no specific training in it. If there are any areas of confusion for me, I'll be sure to ask questions to make sure your pet is cared for properly.

“We highly recommend using Stacey. Bandit stayed with her over the holiday weekend. He had a blast. We were very comfortable with her fenced in back yard. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos. We look forward to using Stacy again.”

“Nina was great and we will definitely use her again. She had no problem managing our playful puppy, sent pictures throughout the day, and took great care of her. She was great at communicating and our puppy returned to us happy and healthy.”
