She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. I am a stay at home dog parent. MY PRIORITY IS MY DOGS! I have lots of land all beautifully landscaped and live on a quiet country road surrounded by farmland and peaceful tranquility. Exercise is paramount to a healthy dog which is why we walk over a mile a day!We even use a stroller for our seniors that aren't as happy to walk for an hour.Exercise is included while your dog stays on our premises! I have a very large fenced in yard but still provide 24/7 supervision as I fervently believe that fur babies need protection. We love being outdoors and being active. About: I've taken care of animals since I was very little. I used to live on a farm and had responsibilities for feeding, walking, and caring for various animals. I am currently a full time online student in college and a stay at home mom with my 1 year old, therefore, I am free all day to care for your cats or your dogs! I take my dog for a walk around my quiet neighborhood in the evenings! She is a medium size dog with lots of energy! I also have 4 rescue cats that enjoy laying around the house being lazy. I have a fenced in backyard that is fairly large so your pups can get the zoomies and have a ton of space! We have a spare bedroom for pets to venture in and use for when they need their own space or just want to lay on the bed. My dog, Lily, is also trained for anxiety needs.

When I’m caring for your pet, I’ll make sure their normal feeding, potty, exercise, medication, and bedtime routines are kept as consistent as possible. I’m also happy to accommodate pets who need a little more structure, extra exercise, or simply more one-on-one attention. Safety is always my first priority. As a professional groomer, I’m very comfortable reading animal body language and recognizing when a pet is nervous, overwhelmed, or needs space. In my home, I have a securely fenced yard as well as resident dogs and cats, so introductions and interactions are handled carefully rather than assuming every animal will immediately be best friends. Pets can be separated for meals, downtime, or whenever needed, and I’m comfortable using crates or pens when that is already part of their routine. In a client’s home, I’ll follow your normal routine and house rules as closely as possible so your pet can stay comfortable in their own environment.

About: I've lived with dogs nearly my whole life, and cats for half of it. I have taken care of said pets for years and been an in-family pet sitter on numerous occasions. My mother frequently cares for other pets through apps like this/through friends, and I assist her with that when needed. At the moment, I care for my mother's pets when she leaves town for any length of time (1 small/medium dog, 1 cat). Otherwise, I'm a free agent. Some of the services listed on the app have the potential to overlap (such as a visit and a walk), I don't consider the price to be totally compounding, just let me know and we can figure out what works best. I'd imagine this is on a situational basis. I'll pet/feed/walk them and am able to follow directions as well as any human, should your pet require specific, or unique, handling. I can usually read pet body language pretty well, but have no specific training in it. About: I have volunteered with a dog rescue for the last years working with a variety of different dog breeds, ages, sizes, and behavioral issues. I also have 2 years of basic obedience dog training through that rescue, especially working through behavioral issues such as fear and reactivity. I also currently work as a Doggie Daycare Attendant. I currently work part-time as a doggy daycare attendant. I have 3 of my own dogs, as well as a foster dog. My mother in law lives with my family so there is almost always someone home, especially so for potty breaks. All of my dog remain crated while unattended. Potty breaks as as frequently as needed, especially with my senior dog. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have long leads for outside and dogs are never left unsupervised outside.

About: I’m pretty much a full-time stay-at-home dog mom to my two large dogs, so caring for dogs is already a huge part of my everyday life! I’ve spent months working on training with my own dogs and have lots of hands-on experience with different behaviors, routines, and personalities.
