About: I have been taking care of animals for majority of my life, where I had labs, english springer spaniels, many cats, and ferrets. During high school, I had two jobs that related to animal care, where I had worked at a dog walking place, and a Veterinary Hospital. During my time at the dog walking place, where I worked there during the summer of 2023 and 2024, I had walked dogs, taught them basic commands, and much more. At the Veterinary Hospital, I mainly helped with cleaning, although when needed, I helped restrain animals, distract them when getting vaccines, and much more. I am also a certified veterinary assistant. Lastly, during my high school career, where my high school had an Agri-Science program, I had helped with cleaning animal cages of many species, such as ferrets, birds, chinchillas, rabbits, and much more, along with running their doggy daycare. I’m currently working Monday-Friday in the morning/early afternoon but I would love to walk your furry friends in the evenings (anytime after 3:30) and weekends. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large yard. I always ensure animals are playing safely and do not get injured. I think every animal needs a close eye on them to prevent any injuries:)

“As always Brittany is amazing with my very active Husky! He loves being with her and her family and gets plenty of love and attention. My pup feels right at home every time. He cant wait to go back for his next stay.”

“Elizabeth was fantastic with my dog! She accomodated a few special requests and gave him lots of snuggles. I also received plenty of updates and am already planning my dogs next visit!”

“Suzie Jo was super happy while staying with Jessica as evidenced by the photos AND video she sent me while I was away! Jessica was really flexible on drop off/pick up times, obviously cares so much about animals and gave me back a very tired doggy the next day. Clearly Suzie Jo had a great time playing and having fun! Will definitely use Jessica as a sitter again in the future!”

“Tina had my dog for 19 days and she did a great job! She sent photos and even a video. I will definitely be using her again when we go away. She’s very easy to work with and extremely pleasant.”

“My Penelope seemed so happy to be with Jennifer and her family! She sent lots of updates and took great care of my doggo!”

“I was hesitant/nervous also to leave my dog at someone's house for a week especially since I was gonna be out of the country. However, the video of my dog happily playing with the other dogs on the 2nd/3rd day I was away alleviated all my worries. She actually seemed a little sad (whimpering) when I picked her up and drove away from Dana/Junio's house. I will definitely bring Nalu back here when I go away, even maybe if it's just a day.”

“This was my first time using Rover.com and I HIGHLY recommend Shannon for overnight weekend stay. She treats my pup as if they were her own. She is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond. My pup adores her whole family and that means everything to me. It is apparent from the moment you see her interact with your dog that it is not just a business to her, it is her love. In addition, her knowledge regarding all aspects of canine care are extensive and helpful. The peace of mind in knowing that my pup is well cared for is priceless. I was surprised that her scheduling system is easy to use and she provided very personalized care- easy to reach and gives updates pictures of his stay. We will reach out to her for more day sitting to help Leo learn to interact more with other dogs. Thank you!! God bless!!!”

“When we were leaving for a 2-week trip, we really wanted to find a daycare situation for our dog Mingus that allowed him to run around and have fun outside, and where the sitters truly cared about the dogs. Albert's dog daycare was a perfect fit! Mingus got to play and make new friends in their spacious, turf-covered yard every day we were gone, and Albert sent us pictures periodically so we knew Mingus was having a great time. Albert and his partner Amanda also cleaned Mingus's ears (he's a standard poodle prone to ear infections) and gave him his heartworm and tick preventative medicines on the day we requested them to, which we were so grateful for. They truly care about the dogs they are sitting. Highly recommended!”

“Millie had a great time with jack russell cousin! Good walks and playtime and nap time. Emily will be my first go to for Millie care in the future!”

“Erica was a godsend. We took in a foster in Feb and ended up adopting her. Unlike my other two dogs, the new pup hates being crated and has separation anxiety. We had a prescheduled trip planned for April and the new pup was too much for our house sitter to handle since he’d be coming and going. We were able to do a meet and greet with Erica where she assured me she’d have no problem watching the pup. Things worked out well and she will be my go to the next time we get away.”

“I dropped off my 11 month old, highly energetic, golden doodle for her first time away from home with some trepidation. She instantly became part of the family and made new puppy friends too! Frequent updates put my mind at ease. I think she's a bit bored now she's home!”
