We just recently fenced-in our yard, the safety and well-being of your pet are of utmost importance to us. To ensure their security, the back door will remain locked during their stay, and all entrances and exits will be conducted through the front door, where a leash will be securely attached to your dog. Unless specified otherwise, your pet will become just part of our family, granting them the freedom to roam certain areas of the house. Our couches and chairs are open for their lounging pleasure, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. To maintain a harmonious feeding routine, your pet will be provided separate mealtimes, distinct from our own animals and children. Rest assured that while under our care, your beloved pet will receive individualized attention, an inviting environment, and the utmost consideration for their comfort and safety.

About: I have extensive experience pet sitting for dogs (all ages), cats, rabbits, chickens and other birds, small mammals, and farm animals, including animals with special medical needs. I also have experiencw with exotic pets. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. I have been a volunteer for both an animal shelter and a local animal rescue league chapter, as well as at many events that benefit animals, and have had pets of my own since childhood. I currently live with a wonderful, sweet, sassy 7 year old female Corgi. I owned 2 wonderful Siberian Huskies who lived to be seniors, and in the course, required regular medications, special diet, physical therapy exercises, assisted walking, and wound cleaning, so I am very familiar with dealing with health issues, and am able to recognize when an animal is in any distress. As I believe emotional well-being is just as important as physical, I will always spend time with your pet, or exercise him/her with his/her favorite toy or game. Growing up, my family always had dogs, including two German Shepherd police K9s and even a dog who used a wheel chair. I have also bred and whelped both German shepherd and Labrador Retrievers. My husband and I currently have two Labrador retrievers, four cats and four goats. About: I've lived with dogs nearly my whole life, and cats for half of it. I have taken care of said pets for years and been an in-family pet sitter on numerous occasions. My mother frequently cares for other pets through apps like this/through friends, and I assist her with that when needed. At the moment, I care for my mother's pets when she leaves town for any length of time (1 small/medium dog, 1 cat). Otherwise, I'm a free agent. Some of the services listed on the app have the potential to overlap (such as a visit and a walk), I don't consider the price to be totally compounding, just let me know and we can figure out what works best. I'd imagine this is on a situational basis. I'll pet/feed/walk them and am able to follow directions as well as any human, should your pet require specific, or unique, handling. I can usually read pet body language pretty well, but have no specific training in it. If there are any areas of confusion for me, I'll be sure to ask questions to make sure your pet is cared for properly.

About: Your dog(s) will love coming over to play and exercise while you’re away from home. I will love and care for your fur-babies as if they’re my own. My four year old rescue, Miley, aka “Potato” is extremely social and absolutely loves puppy play dates. We have yet to meet a dog she doesn’t get along with, or any other living creature for that matter! Our Golden Retriever, Dug, perfectly matches his namesake from the Disney movie UP. About: I have many different experiences with animal care, including internships at a vet clinic and animal shelters. I also have volunteered at a bird sanctuary and care for my own animals on a daily basis (parrot and rabbit). I help to care for animals daily at my house (parrot and rabbit). I am a grad student at UConn so before/after classes and research each weekday, I’m able to provide care to any animal that needs me! I will follow any and all directions to the best of my ability as well as provide the animals with as much comfort and companionship I can. I’m also able to administer medications if needed, as long as I’m shown or told so beforehand. If I’m in a home, I’ll provide care in a timely manner and will keep interruptions to a minimum during a visit or stay.

About: I’ve spent 6 years working at a puppy store dealing with temperaments of 50+ different dog breeds. At this work place I groomed puppies, fed them, cleaned up after them, and gave them tons of affection! I also have personal experience with administering pet medication, as well as dealing with deaf canines. I’m currently working part-time so I have some availability for your fur babies! I am available for dog walking, drop-in, and doggy daycare Mondays-Wednesdays all day! I do also have availability Thursday-Sunday in the evenings.
