About: I’ve taken care of family friends and neighbors dogs and cats for over 10 years. Love being able to spend time with them and the opportunity to see them happy. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and I will take care of yours as they were my own. I love being outdoors so they won’t ever be bored. I will make sure your pup is taken care of while you are away, I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving them so I will send updates and pics to put you at ease if needed. I will adhere to rules and training that you are working on with the dog. I will ask questions to see what exactly you and they need. If needing overnight care you can be assured I will look after them and they will not be lonely. We will socialize and play until it’s time for them to go home. “Lourdes “Luli” was a stellar and responsive caretaker of my 8 mo, high-energy Australian Shepherd puppy. I was a bit nervous to be her first Rover client, but felt immediate comfort on the meet and greet. She and her delightful, well-behaved pup, Tito, were exemplary hosts. She took all my concerns in stride and made sure that my puppy had a safe, enriching and engaging experience. She sent lots of photos documenting his play and nap time with his new buddy. Luli was flexible about the drop off when my schedule unexpectedly changed and was always quick to return texts. My dog came back happy and relaxed and literally pulled me to her doorway each day of our stay. Her home was immaculate and puppy safe, with a small secure, enclosed yard for play. I have nothing but the highest regard for Luli, and her professionalism and warmth towards both me and my dog! She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. About: I have a family dog who is 6 years old as well as my own dog who is 2.5 years old. My dogs are my whole world, I treat them as if they were my children! I have experience with small dogs and medium sized dogs but I also workout daily and feel confidently in my ability to handle large breeds as well! About: I've lived with dogs nearly my whole life, and cats for half of it. I have taken care of said pets for years and been an in-family pet sitter on numerous occasions. My mother frequently cares for other pets through apps like this/through friends, and I assist her with that when needed. At the moment, I care for my mother's pets when she leaves town for any length of time (1 small/medium dog, 1 cat). Otherwise, I'm a free agent. Some of the services listed on the app have the potential to overlap (such as a visit and a walk), I don't consider the price to be totally compounding, just let me know and we can figure out what works best. I'd imagine this is on a situational basis. I'll pet/feed/walk them and am able to follow directions as well as any human, should your pet require specific, or unique, handling. I can usually read pet body language pretty well, but have no specific training in it. If there are any areas of confusion for me, I'll be sure to ask questions to make sure your pet is cared for properly.

As I believe emotional well-being is just as important as physical, I will always spend time with your pet, or exercise him/her with his/her favorite toy or game. About: I have many different experiences with animal care, including internships at a vet clinic and animal shelters. I also have volunteered at a bird sanctuary and care for my own animals on a daily basis (parrot and rabbit). I help to care for animals daily at my house (parrot and rabbit). I am a grad student at UConn so before/after classes and research each weekday, I’m able to provide care to any animal that needs me! I will follow any and all directions to the best of my ability as well as provide the animals with as much comfort and companionship I can. I’m also able to administer medications if needed, as long as I’m shown or told so beforehand. If I’m in a home, I’ll provide care in a timely manner and will keep interruptions to a minimum during a visit or stay.
About: Your dog(s) will love coming over to play and exercise while you’re away from home. I will love and care for your fur-babies as if they’re my own. My four year old rescue, Miley, aka “Potato” is extremely social and absolutely loves puppy play dates. We have yet to meet a dog she doesn’t get along with, or any other living creature for that matter! Our Golden Retriever, Dug, perfectly matches his namesake from the Disney movie UP. My husband grew up on a farm and has cared for animals his whole life. We are both animal lovers. I especially love pit bulls and support the national ‘Punish The Deed & Not The Breed’ campaign. “Tina is AWESOME! We boarded our special needs, almost blind senior shih tzu with her last night and everything went great. Tina is responsive, very easy to work with, super attentive to our little girl and clearly has a great deal of experience with all kinds of dogs. Our pup is a rescue that had been abandoned just over a year ago, so she is quite anxious and has separation anxiety. We always worry about how things will go when we leave her...
