“I can’t say enough good things about Sue! She was so incredibly accommodating and patient with my dog. My dog, Sadie, was uncharacteristically anxious and scared on our vacation. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. Sue gave Sadie so much love and attention the whole time I was at the aquarium. I was able to have a good time, knowing my dog was in good hands. About: I’ve wanted a dog since my childhood dog passed away when I was 8. My parents never got another but now that I am living by myself I have a ton of love to give to any dog that comes to stay. I currently work full time but any free time I would love to fit your dog in my schedule! Reach out and we can figure something out. My apartment complex has a dog park right next to my apartment so I will utilize that to get the dog outside and moving around. The apartment is pretty spacious, so the dog won’t be cramped in a single bedroom all day.

I am in a two story duplex with a small unfenced yard, but have an outdoor lead for potty breaks and plenty of areas for walking in my neighborhood. If necessary, for separation/calm down time, I have a baby gate available that can break up my kitchen and living room and I also have a spare room upstairs. There will be no instances where our pets are left alone unmonitored for the safety of both parties.

When my friend goes out of town I walk and feed her dog as well as her cat. I learn very easily so if there is specific needs for your pet, I will always follow those instructions. I have just started using the rover app and have had wonderful experiences with pets and families. I work some days during the week, but otherwise I am fully flexible. I’m open to discussing any needs and finding the best schedule for the pets! If there is anything I can do to ensure you feel comfortable, I am more than happy to work it out. Making sure your pet is cared for is my top priority.
About: I have grown up with animals, both large and small my entire life. From walking and running with German Shephards, Dobermans, Vizslas, Labs, Cocker Spaniels, and Yorkshire Terriers to playing with Rabbits and entertaining Cats - I can keep up with the best of them. I currently have a large cat of my own. I have trained high energy dogs and have experience walking them through the city. I have also been known to walk my cat on a harness. I currently work full time. I am able to check in or walk your animal after 5:30pm on the Monday- Thursday. My time is much more flexible on Fridays. I also have a flexible schedule on the weekends. I will treat your animals as if they are my own. Whatever requirements that are needed I will accommodate for to the best of my ability.
About: I’ve taken care of friends and family’s furry friends for the last 15 years. They have relied on me to walk, feed, and take care of their pets often. Until recently, I had my own senior dog and had taken care of puppies, adults, seniors, and even dogs with disabilities. I currently work part time and am able to fit in walks or drop in visits around my regular daily schedule. I usually only know my schedule two weeks in advance. I am not able to take care of your pets in my home but am happy and able to keep them comfortable in their own space!
About: I have helped families take care of their pets (and kids!) for over 20 years! I just moved to Westerly with my husband, rescue pup, and sweet senior cat and we just had our first child. I enjoy helping families with their fur babies as I settle into being a stay at home mom! Depending on the baby’s schedule, sometimes my husband does the visits for me or we all go together with the baby in a carrier— let me know in advance if you have any issues. Being a mother is my full time job, so my schedule is very flexible! Feel free to inquire about a date that is marked unavailable. I take into consideration what each pet needs during my visits, whether that’s a long walk, a few rounds of fetch or just some cuddles.

My drop in visits and walks are $25 per visit, 30 or 60 minutes. Rover takes 20% processing fee. Will travel up to 7 mile radius from my location in Westerly, Rhode Island. For dog walking and dog sitting, I am available between 10 AM and 3 PM. Please make sure they have secure harness and leash. About: I’m a 41 year old professional who loves animals. I have a 4 year old cat of my own and have always wanted a puppy as a child. Animals are loving and calming to me. I help care for them they help me. I will dog walk which keeps them happy and me active. I will drop in on cats and dogs to feed play with and help go to the bathroom. If it’s the right fit for your family and pup I would stay 1 night a week and definitely weekends overnight while people are away or traveling. About: I have loved and cared for all kinds of animals since I was young. Having every animal from cats to dogs, birds and guinea pigs, hamsters, snakes, lizards, turtles, and birds! I have experience training dogs as well as training service dogs. I can care for animals from birth to their senior years. I can safely bathe animals, feed, administer medication, and give souch love to them! I have a very flexible routine that allows me to accommodate the needs of many pet parents! I can make adjustments as needed and am happy to spend time with your loved four legged friend! I keep a clean, safe space for the animals I visit with. Unless otherwise noted, I keep a variety of treats and toys on hand and keep a large gravity water bowl available at all times.
