“Gabrielle was awesome! My 2 huskies absolutely love her. She was punctual, reliable and friendly. She sent me updates with pictures which I really appreciated. It was great to see happiness on their faces. She made me feel very comfortable being away from my dogs. I would absolutely book her again!”

“Andrew did a great job with our two animals while we were on vacation for about a week. He’s taken great care while house sitting, got our mail, and cleaned our cats litter box. We can always count on and trust Andrew with our pets!”

“Jason was great - he was kind enough to meet our dogs before his stay and took care of them while we were gone for a few days. Our home was spotless upon our return. Thanks, Jason!”

“Coty is an amazing dog sitter! She is not only knowledgeable and professional, but also went above and beyond in bonding with and caring for our dogs. They are large, needy, energetic, and high maintenance but Coty didn’t miss a beat! She gave them their medications, supplements, and even did rehab exercise with the puppy! She even cared for our home! It was cleaner when we got home than when we left! She sent us regular updates and I had no concerns at all. It was as if she was part of the family! To top it off, when our plane was delayed and we had to stay another day, she put our dogs ahead of her own needs and stayed an additional night! Thank you, Coty!”

“Grace was excellent! She checked in regularly, sent lots of pics of Tini and genuinely cared about Tini and her comfort (she's a Senior dog). Grace was respectful of our home and we came home to a clean house, she even washed and folded the sheets she used. We will definitely use Grace again, Tini was very well cared for! Thank you Grace!”

“Judith and Cynthia did a great job looking after our two 'giant' dogs (St. Bernard & Mastiff) for a long weekend. They were prompt, sent out updates and pcitures every day, and generally made us feel comfortable that our pups were being well taken care of. This was our first foray into getting a Rover sitter, and while we were nervous, they made it less stressful.”

“Alex was great! She was very accommodating on a fairly short notice. She came and met our dog and home ahead of time to get the hang of our place and routine. There was one need for problem solving while away, but she worked with me from afar to work on the best care and plan for my pup. My neighbors talked to her and thought she was great and got along great with our local neighbors and the neighborhood pets on walks with our dog (she is kind of a local celebrity, our dog but Alex too). She gave me daily updates with photos, but nothing overwhelming that I felt distracted on my vacation. Very grateful and looking to book her again.”

About: I owned a small dog and a fairly large one (a Rough Collie). I love animals. I want to do dog walking and sitting as my main job. I'm 5'10 and 210 lbs. I'm great with small and medium dogs. I'll take out a large dog who is leash-trained. On rare occasions, I take out extra-large dogs. Pet care will be my main priority. My other work is very flexible. I usually work from home or a cafe. For dog walking, I typically play with dogs. I'm patient, so we can take our time - even if that means sniffing every tree. I usually do dog sitting in the client's home and or yard. Occasionally, I board a small or medium-sized dog in my home. I have a small backyard/patio, which is shown in one of my photos.

“Lydia was absolutely wonderful! She was so attentive to Dunn and to his needs and I can tell that he had a blast with her. She sent me frequent updates and photos that made me smile ear to ear. Dunn was happy, safe, and loved with Lydia and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Ryan is the best! He’s punctual, communicative, and reliable, plus our dog absolutely loved him. He stayed at our house for a long weekend and we came back to it being in the same condition we left it in, no issues at all. He sent us pictures and let us know how Birdie was doing, he even left us a cute picture of her on our fridge. Highly recommend!”

About: I had 2 tabby cats of my own, I love cats and their shenanigans! I have experience with kittens to senior cats - I can provide the care and attention they need while you're taking care of other essentials for your furry friends. Spending some time with your cat(s) will be a win-win. I'm available to drop-in to check-in on your cat(s) as early in the day as needed until around 8pm. I'm usually available most holidays as well. I typically have a meet and greet prior to accepting the first booking which would help me become familiar with the area your cat(s) will be in for drop-in visits, what their routine looks like, what their preferences and personalities are like, etc. And it gives you a chance to get to ask me any questions you may have. Booking any drop-in visits afterwards are quick as I'd just need a heads up if anything changed since the prior booking. It's important for me to understand if there's anything in particular with your cat(s) you want me to follow or watch out for, please let me know. I'm open to accommodate as you know your furry friend best. I hope to build trust with you & your cat(s) for seamless care when you're busy taking care of other obligations.

“Omg. I cannot possibly say enough about how amazing Ella was with our very senior dog. She Went so far above and beyond to accommodate our dogs needs. Meds, cooking, walks, love. Dealt with a bad doggie belly, kept us totally informed the whole time we were gone and did everything and then some to make our dog feel loved and comfortable. We could never have taken our trip without her. She is a wonderful person as well. When we got home the dog was happy, the house was clean and we got to enjoy a trip. Such a gift and we will 100% be using her services again. ????”

“Michelle went above and beyond! She cared for our zoo very well especially our senior pets! Communicated every day with updates and pics which was greatly appreciated!”

“Our pup was so loved and cared for while we were out of town! We got lots of adorable photos and updates! Right before we left our pup had some diarrhea from a recent vet appointment. Tara made sure to keep us informed of how Piper was feeling better and eating which was such a relief. Would absolutely recommend Tara for dog sitting and we already plan on booking her for our next trip!”

Megan D.
“My cats love Megan! She is a spectacular cat sitter. She is SO attentive to them. She's very creative and makes up the funniest games. My cats are a year old, so still kittens. One is friendly and the other one is timid. She tends to hide from strangers, even my Mom. By the second time Megan came to sit for me, my shy cat was out from under the bed to greet her! They both like to be where "Auntie Megan (Midge)" is. The real proof of her cat watching talents is when I get home from a week long trip. In the past my Mom would come over twice a day to feed them and play with the fishing poles. Before using Megan, when I would arrive home, my cats were almost unhinged. They would be all over me and at bedtime try to sleep on my face. It would take a couple of days for them to relax again. Now that I have Megan sleep over, the cats are SO RELAXED & CHILL. It's 180 degree difference. They sleep with Megan...a true test, and cuddle with her. The difference in their contentment is really obvious. More than my cats liking her, I can tell she really enjoys hanging out with them. She does some remote work while there, but my fur babies were her priority. When they walk over her laptop keyboard, she doesn't mind. They are playful adolescents. She even brought them some new mouse toys. Also, she's more into tech than I am. She introduced them to Cat TV and cat iPad games. I liked the daily photos she sent. Megan offers a very high end and loving experience for your cats. I highly recommend.”

“Eve is amazing! :) Eve has housesit for us and Macchiato a few times now. We're really grateful for your help!”

Brinda R.
“Pets thrive in the care of empathetic, trustworthy human beings. Brinda is certainly that and more. She is deeply caring about the needs of pets and is proactive in her communications to the pet owner. She is also always learning from her experiences.”

Northfield pet parents share their Rover experiences
As the owner of 3 dogs, Andrew is very knowledgeable about dogs. He immediately connected with our dog right when he walked in the door. Andrew took her outside and to the basement to get exercise and have some play time. He did a great job! I’d recommend him to any dog-owner for pet sitting.

This was the second time Anna stayed with my dog. Just like the first time, Anna sent me pictures and updates about the walks she took with my dog and just in general how things were going. She left my home spotless and even washed the towels and sheets plus remade the bed. I highly recommend Anna as a pet sitter though it may mean she won’t be available when I need her because she’ll already be booked. She’s the best!!!

Amelia is a wonderful dog sitter. We just returned from a week long trip and Lulu seems super happy. Amelia sent us photos every day along with a little blurb about how things were going. The house is clean, Lulu’s water is fresh and we’re relieved to have had a wonderful, nice and interesting person stay, who’s actually a writer in her spare time.
