About: Hi there! You can call me Joy :) when I care for your pet I will send you updates with pictures and can communicate every good, not so good, and/or boring detail with you! I do not hesitate to ask for clarification on anything when it comes to the needs of you and your pet. I am also happy to help you with any other house chores while you are away (collecting mail, watering plants, etc). I find it important to set up a meet and greet with you and your pet if possible. When I care for your pet I understand that I am in the space they call home. Building trust with you and your pet is an important first step for me to provide the best services for your needs. In 2018 I adopted a dog of my own and she is my world! I adopted my dog through Best Friends Animal Shelter and she came with little to no background information. She was fearful and showed signs of a traumatized past. I had to train a puppy during the “T-Rex” phase (RIP many articles of clothing and furniture legs” and learned that several rounds of fetch will only slow a working dog for about 20 min before they’re ready to go again. The biggest skill I learned when adopting my dog was handling her reactivity. She was the sweetest girl at home, mostly shy in the beginning and hesitant to come out of her shell. So it was a huge shock when taking her out on her first few walks to see her lunge and pull with all her might towards everything and everyone that passed by. Her size and breed made it especially stressful and embarrassing and there were many days where I felt like I couldn’t handle it. With a lot of patience and treats and maybe also some crying Kona came out of her first year at home a thriving happy girl! Bringing her home was one of the most challenging experiences of my life but watching her grow and blossom into the silly, loving pup she is has been the greatest reward. I have a set schedule at my part time job and can establish morning/afternoon/night schedules around it. I am also in the process of applying for grad school and would love to prioritize pet care as my main job if possible, I am eager to build a clientele! As the owner of a reactive dog I am comfortable reading behavioral cues that may indicate if your pet is in need of extra support, attention, or space.

About: I foster animals for rescues, I also own 4 dogs myself, from puppies to seniors. I can also take care of medically fragile animals. I am open to anything. I’m currently working part time so I will be pretty wide open to care for you furry friend. When I’m not working I’m taking care of my step son and my 5 dogs rather it be hiking, long sniff walks or fun games with the dogs. I also work on basic obedience every day. If you need I can work on sit, stay, wait, loose Leash walking. I will follow all your rules to keep your pets safe. I’m really knowledgeable about keeping animals safe. You won’t have to worry when in my care.

“After several failed attempts of boarding my reactive dog, Mrs. Erika came to my rescue. I spent a week in Atlanta and Erika took amazing care of my pup Champ. She sent me pictures each day and made sure I felt comfortable and trustful of her. I have absolutely no complaints. She has been a life saver for me. She was patient, understanding, and flexible to my pups needs. I look forward to my next trip now that I no longer have anxiety about finding the perfect sitter. I recommend Mrs. Erika for anyone needing an in house sitter for their reactive dog. Also, my place was spotless when I arrived back home. 10/10!”

About: I bring a lifetime of experience and genuine passion for animals to every pet I care for. As a current dog mom of two, I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. My home has always been full of pets—dogs, cats, so I’m comfortable with a variety of personalities, ages, and special needs. What truly sets me apart is my commitment to personalized care. I take the time to learn about each pet’s unique habits, routines, and preferences, making sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I have experience with everything from playful puppies who need extra attention and training, to senior dogs who may require medication or gentle, patient care. I’m also comfortable with administering oral medication, basic obedience reinforcement, and adapting activities to fit your pet’s energy level or special needs. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own—with lots of love, patience, and plenty of belly rubs! Pet care is a natural part of my everyday routine since I work from home and make my own schedule. This flexibility allows me to give pets plenty of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. My availability is open, so I can easily accommodate feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, and any special needs your pet may have. When I provide pet sitting in a client’s home, my top priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their own familiar environment. I take time to learn your pet’s usual routines—feeding times, walks, play, and any special instructions—so I can keep things as consistent as possible. I make sure your pet gets lots of attention, exercise, and affection, whether that means cozy cuddle time, active play, or quiet companionship. I’m also happy to help with basic care tasks like bringing in the mail, watering plants, or making sure your home is tidy. I give regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing, and I’m always available for questions or last-minute needs. My goal is to provide peace of mind for both you and your pet, making the experience as stress-free as possible for everyone.

“We had Maryan watch our maltipoo Charlie as well as our home for a few days and Maryan was just terrific in both of those responsibilities. She updated us (at least) twice a day with photos and details of our dog's day and his overall well-being. And when we got home I could see through his demeanor that he had no stress - we think we actually interrupted his good time. Sorry, Charlie! And in terms of our home, well...it looks just how we left it....so, what more can we say? :) Much appreciation, Maryan!”

About: Dogs have been loved and cared for in my family since I can remember. When I was a young girl, I had a Labrador Retriever that gave birth to ten puppies. It really strengthened and solidified my love for dogs. Currently, we have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Cookie. She's full of love, personality and independence. We adopted her in March of 2019 and we are so lucky to have her as part of our family. She's one of the best dogs that's been a part of our family. I'm a mom of four young men, have had dogs all my life and have a lot of love to share. I look forward to spending time with your dog and taking he or she for walks with some social stimulation and being one with nature. I love dogs so much!! Whenever I can be with doggies who love to walk, have fun and be loved, life indeed has true balance. We walk our dog, Cookie, at least twice a day, either around the neighborhood, at the park or on a hike. Always make sure she has fresh water, delicious food and lots of love.

About: As long as I have been on earth, I have cared deeply for animals. I am a regular go to for friends and family who need pet care, because my goal is to provide for each pet as if they were my own. I have experience with large group walks, reactive pets, and puppies. I approach every pet with gentleness, and take plenty of pictures for you to see your baby having fun! My sweet pug is a bit sound sensitive and leash reactive, so I am not afraid to work with and care for pets that need a bit more TLC to feel comfortable. I work remote, so I am able and ready to work from anywhere. I am able to do short walks, or extended hangouts with pets! I am an extremely clean and considerate house sitter. Given the trust to occupy someone’s home is not something I take for granted, and do mu utmost to leave each place cleaner than how I got it!

“Sofia exceeded my expectations. She constantly shared pictures of my pets and was very easy to communicate with. I truly got to enjoy our vacation because of her. I knew my let’s were in good hands.”

“Amazing communication, super respectful and kind. She left the place cleaner than we did and even did some of our yucky dishes which was so unnecessary! Can’t wait to book her again.”
