About: I’ve had Basset Hounds since I was a little girl, I’ve rescued and cared for a Labradoodle and I currently have two cats of my own. I am experienced in getting pets to take their meds, ear cleaning, nail trimming, brushing/deshedding and dog walking I am a grad student available any time outside of the hours of Monday-Wednesday from 5:30-9 pm for classes. This is subject to change next semester but should not impact my availability until Mid-January I can easily check in on your fur babies multiple times a day for feedings, bathroom breaks, walkies or playtime. I will not do overnight stays as my own kitty cats need me then.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets off and on for the past 10 years! I will make sure your pet is safe and cared for! I am happy to help. I am on summer break from school working part time. I will have plenty of time for walks! I enjoy being outside and spending time with animals. This summer I am unable to foster animals but I would love to be around pets! I will respect you and your pets boundaries and follow instructions well. I promise to provide the best care I am able to for your peace of mind.
About: Not only have I had pets my entire life, but I've helped care for friend's and family's pets, too. I worked in a doggie daycare for a bit, so I have experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I'm currently on summer break from teaching, so I'm home with my kiddos all day and am available to help care for your fur babies. I'm comfortable letting animals out into fenced yards or on leash as needed for potty breaks. I can help cleanup accidents inside or scoop liter during visits. I'm happy to help supervise playtime, feedings, or general activity during visits. I'm comfortable crating dogs when leaving, if needed. Whatever instructions you provide, I can execute and ensure your pet is well cared for!
“Andrew and Haley were perfect! They dropped in on my cat for a weekend and were very thorough with their petsitting. Most importantly, my cat Dino trusted them and was very comfortable. They fed him and played with him during their visits. Would definitely book them again!”

“I left my two cats that I love dearly for 6 days! Any time I leave them I worry bc they both have medical issues and need special attention. While I was gone, I didn’t worry once about them!!!! And every time I’ve left in the past, I’ve worried so much so that it dampens my time away. I looked forward to getting her updates and seeing the adorable pics she would send. She is a great communicator and I felt that she really cared for them at the highest level and paid attention to the details. I will use her again and again even just for overnights as well as any vacations in the future. Highly recommend (and I’m very obsessive about their care😂❤️)”

“Alyssa is amazing! She sends detailed updates with lots of pictures and I never have to wonder how things are going. I knew my kitten was well taken care of while I was gone and I didn’t have to worry while on vacation.”

“This was our second time having Zhalih and I couldn't be happier. She is absolutely amazing with my cat, Frazier. It's clear that she genuinely loves animals, she goes above and beyond to make sure he's not just cared for but entertained and happy. She even took care of his wrestling match with his litter! It's little things like this that show us just how wonderful people can be. My husband and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter, especially one that truly cares. She is the best!”

About: Hi there, I am pet sitting dogs and around dogs since I was a kid! I am a lover of all dogs and enjoy spending time playing, walking, and cuddling with all fur babies! I am currently a full time social worker with availability in the early mornings, evenings, and weekends for drop in visits, walks, and house sitting. I am comfortable spending time in other peoples homes. I have two sweet dogs of my own that mean the world to me, so I understand how important trusting and loving pet care is!
About: I am a teacher and have summers off! Let me and my sweet daughter help take care of your pet this summer. We are too busy during the school year to justify having our own pet, so let us spoil yours! I have lots of availability this summer- let's work something out! Just reach out and we can get something on the calendar- whether you need over night care or your furry friend needs a walk. We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. We have a leash outside as well as room to crate inside.

“Michele was great! She dropped in over 4 days to feed, administer medication to and clean up after my 4 cats. My cats were well taken care of and happy. Michele is also very responsive to messages and I was never worried. Would definitely recommend her services.”

About: I’m an animal science major with plans to pursue veterinary medicine, and caring for animals—especially dogs—is truly what lights me up. During high school, I was the go-to neighborhood dog walker, caring for dogs ranging from large breeds to small pups, which helped grow my confidence and love for working with all kinds of dogs. I also have four years of hands-on experience in a busy dog daycare, where I’ve worked with pups of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—from energetic zoomie experts to shy cuddle bugs. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique quirks and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just some extra belly rubs, I treat every dog like they’re my own. My goal is to make your pup’s time away from you feel fun, comfortable, and exciting. I currently work at a dog shelter where my shifts are either from 7am-12pm or 4-9pm. I am happy to work around your pups schedule with ahead of time notice! Before, after, and during my break your dog will have plenty of time to potty and play. When I visit a clients home I give all my love and care to them to make sure they feel happy while the owner is gone. I focus on keeping their routine as consistent, safe, and comfortable as possible. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, including feeding times, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions, so they feel secure and stress-free.

About: I have 30 years experience in animal caregiving. including 17 years experience at a local animal hospital. Excellent references provided upon request. I am reliable and flexible. Vacation care for cats is $35 per day and includes the small house chores listed above. Can’t wait to hear from you! Your pets care is my priority. I am reliable and experienced. I can meet all your pets needs, including daily walks, medication’s, and special needs requests I have a fenced in yard and your pets safety and comfort will be met with experienced care. I have crates that can provide a small comfortable environment, but they will be treated as my own animals.
About: I grew up on a farm, and for the last 18 years of my life I've taken care of every kind of animal imaginable. I absolutely love making friends with new pets and I can't wait to meet yours! I also have experience as a dog groomer which has given me additional experience with all types of dogs who are not familiar with me, and bonding with them quickly. I’m currently in school as well as working full-time. This means I have to fit any pet care around my school schedule. Currently, I have one class Monday/Wednesday and three classes Tuesday/Thursday. With enough advance notice, I am able to adjust my schedule to best fit your pets needs. No matter how many hours I work, I will do my best to spend all the quality time with your pets that I possibly can. I absolutely love my doggy cuddles (which is like, the most important thing ever), and I sure hope that your dog loves them too. Every dog has their own routine, and I will make sure that we stick with yours. I enjoy walking, so if your dog enjoys long walks as well, I can make it happen!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Normal
Bekah was great from the get-go, she responded quickly, carried herself very professionally during the meet and greet and provided updates during all four drop-ins with Charlie and Daisy. Highly recommend if you’re seeking someone to take good care for your pets while gone. -Junior-

Jill took exceptional care of our two Chow Chows, Kona and Maui, and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. From the beginning, her communication was outstanding, keeping us updated and giving us complete peace of mind while we were away. Kona and Maui were happy, comfortable, and obviously well cared for when we returned. Jill's professionalism, kindness, and genuine love for animals were evident throughout the entire stay. She treated our dogs like family, and that means everything to us. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, caring, and truly dedicated to providing excellent care, we highly recommend Jill. We would absolutely trust her with Kona and Maui again and look forward to using her services in the future. Thank you, Jill, for taking such wonderful care of our babies! Carl & Dawn

Annie took such wonderful care of our boys including walks, managing their special diet, and sending the sweetest update with photos. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were so well cared for. She handled everything beautifully, even cleaned up the yard, and our boys were happy, relaxed, and clearly adored her. We’ll absolutely book with Annie again!

Malia has been great to work with. She was incredibly kind when we met, communicated clearly, and gave updates that were helpful without being overwhelming. She respected my preferences, used good judgment with the weather, and clearly prioritizes the dog’s comfort and safety. Luna took to her right away. I’d absolutely recommend her and will be continuing to work with her.

Renae was amazing! We have 3 senior chihuahua’s who all wear diapers and each have their own special needs and she took care of them with no problems at all. She was even able to win over our most fiesty one who rarely lets others handle him. She left our home spotless even though I know my boys made messes. She was reliable and communicative and it was so wonderful to be able to go away and know they were in good hands. 10/10.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
