About: I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. I first started with chickens when I was growing up and now I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, etc. around 4 years ago I first started a job as a kennel assistant where I would do feedings, lets outs, and even one-on-ones for the dogs/cats that were boarding. I’ve worked in daycare during my time as a kennel assistant as well where I had to determine demeanors and personalities of the dogs attending. 2 years ago I went into the medical side of animal care and became a Veterinary Assistant. I’m now in school to become a Veterinary Technician and eventually to become a Vet. I know how to tell when something is wrong with an animal and am able to do the things necessary to help I work full-time currently Monday-Wednesday, and I’m off on Thursdays. Then I work Fridays and am off weekends. On weekdays I have an hour break so I am able to do the let outs I need to during this time. If I am doing at my house care, the first thing I would do is have a meet and greet with my dogs and go from there to make sure they are compatible to stay at my home. If we are doing at my clients house, I would still like to do meet and greets beforehand so I can get to know your animal better. Once that is all done, I would like to know the rules and regulations for feeding times, let out times, and any medical needs that are needed. Dog walking I can only do Thursdays, and weekends but there are a few things I would like to know beforehand. Just the basics on how they do when other dogs are around, what to watch out for, and if there are any rules the dog needs to keep up with.

About: I have had experience in many different animal environments throughout the years spanning from animal shelters, clinics, doggy daycares, and dog training facilities. I have experience with reactive dogs and have one of my own so understand the struggle of owning a reactive dog. Working in shelters I was constantly walking and caring for the dogs and cats while maintaining a clean living environment for them. Working in clinic environments taught me to give medication and understand how important medication routines can be for both dog and cats. Finally I’ve had experience in dog training facilities with extremely reactive dogs and learned some skills in dog training as well! My schedule is very open right now and am willing to work with your schedules! Weekdays or Weekends I’m available for whatever you need! I have a fenced in yard for my large dog, who is reactive with unknown men, so he has plenty of space to exercise and play! He has a routine of when he is fed, same as my cats. Keeping my dog active is so important and my cats enriched is even more so since they are always indoors.

I can leave on breaks to go check on them or stay at your house overnight to watch them. I live very close to walking trails to take them on walks. About: Hello! I am very passionate about dogs and will provide loving, patient care while you are away from home. I have fostered many puppies and adult dogs in my home through a dog rescue in California for 5 years, and continue to do the online work for that rescue from my home in Illinois. I have two fur babies of my own Espresso and Lucy, and our two cats mostly hang out in whatever room the dogs are not in :) We have a secure, fenced backyard with room to run. Dog cuddling and treats are a staple here, as well as walks, frequent potty breaks and playing with toys! My six year old daughter loves dogs but also respects boundaries and will leave them alone if they don’t want attention. I am prompt, professional and respond to texts/calls in a timely manner. I am a stay at home mom attending school online, so frequent potty breaks, cuddles and playtime are constantly available to them, or whatever else they might need. I have a fenced in yard and ample room to get the zoomies out. Dogs are welcome on the couch and I have a few dog beds available too.
