Passionate Pet Lover
I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly!

Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.

Darcy watched our 11 week old puppy for 2 weeks while we were on vacation, and while we were nervous to leave her for so long at such a young age, Darcy did an incredible job taking care of her and keeping her on track with potty and crate training. She sent us lots of updates and pictures throughout our trip.
I have known Darcy for several years. She’s always loved pets. In the last year she has been helping me clean my barn with my show rabbits in it. She has also cared for my rabbits several times when I’ve been out of town. She will care for your pets as if they were her own.
Darcy is extremely caring when it comes to your pets, she treats them like her own. She did great with my dogs, cats and reptiles! Very attentive to my pets special needs. Would highly recommend using her!

Darcy has watched my crew (3 dogs and 3 cats) multiple times. She is trust worthy and my animals absolutely love her! Would highly recommend her! She is professional and has a background working in a vet clinic, so I never feel worried leaving my pets in her care. She also communicates well throughout her visits.
Darcy watched our dogs and cats many times and took wonderful care of all of them. She takes time to get to know each individual pet so she can care for them specifically. She is loving and trustworthy. As a pet owner herself, she has trained her dogs well and provided lots of advice to me and my family. She always followed our instructions which gave us piece of mind knowing they were safe and well cared for when we weren't there. Our dogs were always excited to see her!

Schedule
Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too.
