Passionate Pet Lover
I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly!

Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.

Darcy was great with our fur baby!
Darcy took such amazing care of my pets! Even my shy cat took to her, which says a lot! She was very communicative and made sure that all of my pets' meds were handled correctly, and she was very kind. I'd recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!
Amazing. This was our first time using Rover and I was so impressed with how good of a job Darcy did with our home. Taking care of our animals is not something I am willing to trust to anyone and she did a great job. Will definitely use her again.
Darcy was an amazing pet sitter. She took great care of our small zoo and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!
Darcy was amazing!! My pups warmed up to her faster than I’ve ever seen them with a new sitter. I was extremely comfortable with her watching my pups by the end of our meet and greet and would absolutely ask her to sit in the future. A big bonus to me was her willingness to spend the night with them and how she respected my house during her stay. Highly, highly recommended her!
Darcy watched our 11 week old puppy for 2 weeks while we were on vacation, and while we were nervous to leave her for so long at such a young age, Darcy did an incredible job taking care of her and keeping her on track with potty and crate training. She sent us lots of updates and pictures throughout our trip.

Schedule
Currently working a max of 40 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist in Canton. My shifts are 8am-5pm with an hour lunch from 12-1pm. I do typically have weekends off with the occasional Saturday and Sunday at my part time jobs in East Peoria.

- Would love to know what your pet’s favorite things are and what they enjoy doing. I also would like to know things they don’t care for if there is anything specific. Same goes for any medical concerns there may be for me to keep an eye on or any possible bad habits they may have. Just want them to be as comfortable and safe as possible while I’m there.
