“We will definitely book with Jasmine again! She was super communicative, thorough, and flexible. We appreciated the pictures and detailed notes. Our shy cat warmed up quickly to her. Highly recommend!”

“We were grateful we found Ava on Rover. She was a great drop in sitter for our 2 kittens while we were away for a week. She was quick to reply to messages, was proactive with questions, and met/exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoyed her daily reports and photos of our cats playing and cuddling. We came home to two happy and healthy kittens and would happily hire her again.”

“Katie has been excellent with our fur babies. We were out of town for 6 days and had no issues or worries. All the pics she sent showed how happy the dogs were when she came to check on them. Thank you Katie!”

“Danielle was great with my two cats! They loved having her come over and play and just hang out and cuddle. She also came to meet the cats and see how everything was laid out in the house. I will definitely use her again!”
“Kylie is amazing!! This is our second time booking with her and we will definitely use her again! She even went an extra visit cause we have some naughty cats which we were so so grateful for!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life. Growing up in a rural area on a dead end road, we mostly had strays-turned-pets. After leaving for college I unfortunately had no dog of my own, but re-integrated them back into my life as quickly as possible after graduating. Once I moved on my own, I fostered three different dogs (not all at once) before finally adopting my own during COVID. I love my dog, and would love to meet yours! I graduated from law school May of this year (2026) and have a lot of time to care for your pet while I study for the bar exam! I don’t begin full time work until October, so would love to take care of your dog in the meantime! I live in an apartment with no fenced in yard. My dog gets along with all dogs and I have never had an issue. That said, I prefer to do a meet-and-greet beforehand if I am going to board your dog at my apartment. I am open to walking all types of dogs and doing drop-in visits for any kind!
About: While most of my pet care experience has been with cats, I have also spent time caring for dogs belonging to friends and family. I enjoy spending time with dogs, going on walks, playing, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I may not be a lifelong dog owner, but I am responsible, attentive, and committed to following each dog's routine and needs closely. Because I work part-time, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. Whether your pet needs a midday visit, a walk, or some extra company while you're away, I can often accommodate different schedules and provide attentive, reliable care. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. At this time, I am unable to host pets in my own home, but I am happy to care for them in their familiar environment. I will carefully follow any instructions and safety guidelines you provide, including feeding routines, medications, walking preferences, and household rules, to ensure your pet feels secure, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

About: Hi, I’m Kira. I’ve loved dogs my whole life and would be thrilled to help out with your dog care! I am available on a flexible schedule for dog walks or care in your home. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and administering medications. I can give injected medications and pills, brush dogs teeth, and clip their nails if necessary! Shoot me a message and I’d be happy to meet your furry friend :) I’m working part time, and I have a fairly open schedule, I am available on most afternoons during the week and anytime on weekends. I am happy to pick up dogs from their home for a walk, take them to a park, or hang out with them in their home. I will always treat your home with respect and leave it as I found it. I can also help out with housekeeping and cleaning if necessary!
About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my experience with a variety of dog breeds and ages. I've personally cared for my own dog for 4 years and regularly sit for a small bichon frise, gaining firsthand knowledge of both puppy phases and the unique needs of adult dogs. Additionally, my background includes dog sitting medium sized breeds like German Shepherds and Golden Doodles, ensuring tailored attention and support for dogs of different temperaments. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine, especially with the support of family members. I work part-time during the week but still ensure that our furry friends receive consistent care and attention. My family members are readily available to assist when needed, allowing for flexibility in scheduling walks, playtime, feeding, and other essential tasks. We have a fenced yard, keep floors clean, water is always out, keep a regular check and take them for frequent walks in the neighborhood
“Highly recommend. My first time using Rover and wasn’t sure what to expect. I usually take my two (older but active) dogs with me on trips, but couldn’t this time. Sarah bonded with the dogs quickly, and then went beyond my expectations in check-ins, providing not just basic care, but giving meds, playing with them, and giving me the reassurance I needed.”

“This is the second time we have had Misty cat sit for us while we’re away for vacation. She has been so amazing and loving to our Kitty. Definitely recommend her for your pet sitting needs!!”

About: Hi y'all! I'm Emma, and I've been around pets my entire life. I've been caring professionally for pets for a couple of families for 3-4 years now and have only just gotten around to making a Rover profile. Whether your pet needs someone to walk with, playtime, or extra cuddles, I'm more than happy to tailor my services to what your pet needs. I do not discriminate against any type of dog or cat. Age, sex, size, and color of their coat do not matter to me! I'm an online student as well as a townie, so I have an extremely flexible schedule depending on your needs. Your pets care is my priority! I'm adaptable depending on the clients home. I have years of experience with cats and dogs with different personalities and behaviors, I make sure to assess what is best suited for your pet.
“Kyra wonderful! She was super attentive to my two cats and made sure to update me while I was away. I definitely would recommend her to anybody looking for a great sitter.”

About: Hi, I’m Vanessa! I’m currently in college but my family has been fostering dogs since I was in middle school, so I have experience with every kind of dog from 8-week puppies to older dogs to three legged ones! I currently have 2 rescues I help take care of and train, and love volunteering at animal shelters(Chicago Canine and Wright Way) in my free time, so I have a wide variety of experiences when it comes to caring for animals. Whether it be walking one dog or bathing a van load of puppies, I love spending time with all dogs!!!! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I’m available during the weekdays and most weekends, and my schedule is very flexible. I have experience with basic dog training classes, and my two dogs are both crate trained so I can follow any dogs schedule, strict or relaxed, and make sure they’re safe and comfortable. I also love to play with them and help them get the physical and mental stimulation they need to be happy and healthy!
Champaign dog parents share their Rover experiences
Olivia was wonderful! We were a little nervous since this was our first experience hiring out a pup sitter. She was very patient with us as we learned the system. While dropping in on our puppies, she was responsible and asked clarifying questions (when needed). She put the needs of our pups first when considering how her time with them would be best served. She also sent multiple pictures of our puppies; they appeared to approve of her as well!

Madeline did a super job with our 2 beagles. She is excellent at following instructions and our dogs love her. We appreciate Madeline’s willingness to work on short notice when THREE other Rover employees canceled before even meeting us and our dogs. Madeline proved that Rover employees can be responsible! I would certainly hire Madeline again.

Katie has been very accommodating and patient as we do some drop-in meetings so that she and SugarBear can get to know each other, as a lead-in into a longer, dog-sitting session. I appreciate Katie being available to work with SugarBear, who is always happy (too happy!) to see her.

Highly recommend. My first time using Rover and wasn’t sure what to expect. I usually take my two (older but active) dogs with me on trips, but couldn’t this time. Sarah bonded with the dogs quickly, and then went beyond my expectations in check-ins, providing not just basic care, but giving meds, playing with them, and giving me the reassurance I needed.

This is the second time Faith has looked after my dog. Our interpersonal interaction was cordial. She sent pics of my dog, and he seemed like a pretty inferior guard dog based on how it seemed he interacted with her. My dog seemed happy when I got home. In other words, I'd request Faith's services again.
Danica was so good with our senior dog! She is loving and gentle and sent us regular updates with photos and information. When we needed to add a day on at the last minute due to travel delays, she was flexible and happy to help. I strongly recommend Danica for your pet’s care.
