About: I have two friendly cats and backyard chickens. I have had cats and dogs for most of my life. I go trail hiking at local forest preserves and state parks 2-4 times a week and would love to take your dog with me! I only have one dog guest at a time (unless they are from the same home) so I can give them lots of care and attention and provide you with regular updates and photos. You will know your pet is being well looked after. My goal is to make your pet feel like it is on a fun vacation while you are on a fun vacation. Nothing makes me happier than dogs I've cared before, coming back and pulling on their leash to come into my house on their next visit! I only work half-time so I have plenty of time for pets. I know how important your pet is to you and I'm very responsible. My dog guests are walked at least three times a day including a walk or hike of 30 minutes or longer. They are also able to use my fenced in backyard when the chickens are locked up for the night .

About: I have experience pet-sitting dogs from spry puppies to gentle giants and everything in between! I have been tasked with playtime, feeding time, and check-ins during the day. I'm currently working part-time, so I will be available for services before 1 pm and after 4 pm during weekdays and all day on the weekends. I have experience walking larger dogs and managing older dog's needs when exercising as well as maintaining a calm environment for anxious and/or older pets.
“Nefeli took excellent care of my kitty Ooma. She also followed instructions to the T with care and was a great communicator. Ooma is very shy and nervous at first with new people and will often hide, but she really took to Nefeli from the beginning and spent time with her during her check ins. That says a lot.”
About: Thanks for stopping by. We look forward to meeting you and your beloved furry family member. I have 20+ years of experience caring for pets. My teen has studied vet tech and will help me care for your pet. So you will get our services as a 2 for 1. She enjoys doing pet massages that she's learned. I am home all day and we will ensure your pet gets lots of play time, outdoor time and of course, snuggles. BOARDING *Your pet will have the run of the house and will be treated like family. I'm home all day, so there's lots of time for belly rubs, cuddles as well as plenty of outdoor time. I introduce all pets in a neutral setting in a safe manner so that all pups feel welcome and safe during their stay, despite it being a new environment for them. DOGGY DAYCARE *We can't wait to hang out with your pups and their soon-to-be new pup friends *To make sure all dogs have fun and are safe, it's important to ascertain your pup's temperament so we will ask detailed questions and discuss drop off procedures *Weekday - 9 hrs of care *Weekend/Holiday- 8 hrs of care "Additional hours/schedule changes can be accommodated upon request I am usually home all day so it's rare that your pet will be home alone. Your pet will be taken outside very often, at least every 2 hours, so they will receive lots of exercise and play time. All pets will be treated like they are a part of our family. They will receive whatever care is most beneficial for them based upon their owner's wishes and the pet's needs. Pet owners: Please indicate any special needs, habits or things to observe. I want to ensure I'm aware of how to best take care of your pet.
“Danielle was great with my two cats! They loved having her come over and play and just hang out and cuddle. She also came to meet the cats and see how everything was laid out in the house. I will definitely use her again!”
About: I have worked at a veterinary clinic since the age of 16, assisting with appointments and caring for overnight boarders. I am well experienced with dogs of all sizes and ages. It is my dream to become a veterinarian and I am very passionate about the well-being of all animals. I am currently a full time student, so dog walking will take place primarily in evenings. My schedule may change and I will keep it updated on my profile. I offer dog walking services and drop in visits. I am respectful and responsible when it comes to other’s property. I have experience caring for pets professionally and will treat pets and property as if it were my own.
About: I have almost 12 years of experience training and looking after family and my own dogs! Throughout the years, friends and family have relied on me to keep their dogs fed, exercised, enriched, and well-trained. During that time, I have accumulated a variety of enrichment toys, games, and training activities to ensure that a dog's mental, emotional, and physical needs are met! I'm currently a graduate student at the University of Illinois! I live locally, and I have a highly flexible schedule! Aside from Monday and Wednesday mornings, I am available to look after your pet at almost any time that works for you! I prioritize learning the routines and procedures that help me respect your space and your pet's well-being. This means getting to know each of you before I enter your space and interact with your pet to ensure that I am the best fit for you!
“Cory had great communication and seemed to get along well with our cat. Wet forgot to put the treats out and he had to deal with our Internet lights but he asked us about the treats and it worked out. He made sure to clarify instructional when he was unsure. He sent pictures and answered all of our questions with we asked. We definitely would use his services next time we go out of town.”

“This is the second time we have had Misty cat sit for us while we’re away for vacation. She has been so amazing and loving to our Kitty. Definitely recommend her for your pet sitting needs!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Champaign
Madeline did a super job with our 2 beagles. She is excellent at following instructions and our dogs love her. We appreciate Madeline’s willingness to work on short notice when THREE other Rover employees canceled before even meeting us and our dogs. Madeline proved that Rover employees can be responsible! I would certainly hire Madeline again.

Katie has been very accommodating and patient as we do some drop-in meetings so that she and SugarBear can get to know each other, as a lead-in into a longer, dog-sitting session. I appreciate Katie being available to work with SugarBear, who is always happy (too happy!) to see her.

Highly recommend. My first time using Rover and wasn’t sure what to expect. I usually take my two (older but active) dogs with me on trips, but couldn’t this time. Sarah bonded with the dogs quickly, and then went beyond my expectations in check-ins, providing not just basic care, but giving meds, playing with them, and giving me the reassurance I needed.

This is the second time Faith has looked after my dog. Our interpersonal interaction was cordial. She sent pics of my dog, and he seemed like a pretty inferior guard dog based on how it seemed he interacted with her. My dog seemed happy when I got home. In other words, I'd request Faith's services again.
Danica was so good with our senior dog! She is loving and gentle and sent us regular updates with photos and information. When we needed to add a day on at the last minute due to travel delays, she was flexible and happy to help. I strongly recommend Danica for your pet’s care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Champaign with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
