About: I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs, including Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas and Goldendoodles. I also used to have a chihuahua of my own🐾 I’m committed to following each pet’s routine and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care💕 I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your furry friend! I am available any time and any day of the week. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their routine, giving them plenty of love and attention, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy in their home.
“Amber clearly loves animals and was great with our two kitties over the holiday season! I worry a lot leaving our girls because they are very attached to me and my fiancé, but Amber gave them lots of attention. She was also very reliable and communicative. I highly recommend her!”

“We are so glad we found Holly!! She is simply wonderful with our three kitties. They warmed up to her really quickly and were so healthy and happy when we returned from our travels. She is very communicative and sends adorable photos so we know our fur babies are being well cared for. She also is very good about checking for any potential issues around the house. Our automated feeders went offline while we were away and she caught the problem immediately and reset them so our kitties wouldn’t miss their meals. We highly recommend her!!”

About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, snakes, tarantulas, and horses. With my love and closeness to animals growing up, I continued into the veterinary medicine world after high school and have worked within clinic settings for the past 7 years! I am experienced and comfortable with administering both oral and injectable medications, bathing, and much more. I plan to become a certified veterinary technician as well in the near future. While I do work full time during the week, I am still often able to accommodate multiple visits a day due to my lunch break! I don’t mind an early morning to make sure your pets are taken care of before the workday either. Because mid-day visits are on my break, the time I will be available for these visit will be dependent on the travel time. As my apartment is too small to accommodate any dogs or additional cats, I would be treating your home with the utmost respect! It’s your (and especially your pet’s) safe space, and that needs to be protected. I will always clean up after any messes if they are made by your pet and reach out to make sure you’re aware!
About: I’ve been around pets for as long as I can remember, so I’m very familiar with their daily needs, routines, and behavior. I also have experience dog sitting, where I’ve helped with walking, feeding, and spending time with pets. I bring strong responsibility and attentiveness from working in both an elementary school and a retirement home through Greencroft Communities! These experiences taught me how to follow detailed instructions, stay patient, and provide consistent, caring support in structured environments. I apply the same level of reliability and attention when caring for pets, making sure they are safe, comfortable, and well looked after during walks and sitting visits. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I have a flexible schedule and am available most days. I enjoy a long walk with dogs if needed but short walks are perfect too! Drop-ins and sitting visits are something I will adjust my time as needed to provide consistent and reliable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and respect for the home environment. I follow all provided instructions closely, maintain the pet’s normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I stay attentive during visits and communicate with owners if anything changes or needs attention. I treat each pet as if they were my own and focus on making sure they feel comfortable, calm, and well cared for while their owner is away.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of all sizes and ages for many years now, along with owning both my entire life! Whether it be staying full time or just popping in once in a while to check up with or take them on walks I’ve done it all! I just moved here and am between jobs right now, so whenever you need me I can be there for your pets! I’m free pretty much 24/7. Building trust with your pet is very important to me. Before anything I will try my best to make sure they know that I am a safe person to be around. I always try to let the pets lead our interactions. I’m happy to play with and pet them all day, but if it seems like they would rather sit quietly or for me to keep my distance I can do that too!
“Katie has been excellent with our fur babies. We were out of town for 6 days and had no issues or worries. All the pics she sent showed how happy the dogs were when she came to check on them. Thank you Katie!”

“We did a "meet-and greet" a few days before Misty had her first "drop-ins" with our pups. Misty was very attentive while we showed her around the house, explained our routines, and chatted about our furry ladies. We worked together to adjust the "drop in" schedule a bit to work within the needs of our pups and her work schedule. She was very flexible and easy to work with. Throughout our all, it was apparent that she wanted to give our pups the best care possible. We returned to two happy and healthy puppies. Misty did a fabulous job and we are already working to book her for the next time that we are out of town!”

“David was able to help us at the last minute. Roxy enjoys her visits with David as he follows her cues on what she needs from each visit ( cuddles, play, etc). Having David to care for her allows us to travel without the guilt.”

“This was pretty much the first time I'd left my kitty since I adopted her so I was nervous about it, but Kyra was fantastic. Communication was easy, and I got daily pictures of Jupiter, along with updates. She definitely made being away easier.”

Whether it is friends, family, neighbors, or friends of friends, I have always been someone my circle feels like they can depend on to take care of their homes & precious fur babies! I am currently post grad working a part-time hybrid social media marketing position in town that only requires me to be on-site 2-3 days a week. Getting to spend time with animals during my down time would be a dream come true for me as I would feel great not only filling a need but getting to hangout with new fur friends while I do it! I will ensure your pet is consistently cared for and is provided with everything they may need. It is my goal to help them stay on their normal routine as much as possible while you are gone. They will be fed regularly, always have fresh water, and always be given the loving they deserve!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Champaign
Aric truly went above and beyond! Not only did he save the day with my late request, he also took fantastic care of my crew (hound, buns, and fish tanks). Little touches like bringing my trash bin back from the curb and buying my dog another cup of yogurt when he ran out shows how much he cares.

Booked for my daughter so we could make a quick overnight trip. Hit it off with her and Sasuke immediately. Sasuke got comfortable with Ava fast as she took the time to meet beforehand. Ava was very accommodating with my daughters last minute changes as well. Highly recommend. Very friendly.
Madeline did a super job with our 2 beagles. She is excellent at following instructions and our dogs love her. We appreciate Madeline’s willingness to work on short notice when THREE other Rover employees canceled before even meeting us and our dogs. Madeline proved that Rover employees can be responsible! I would certainly hire Madeline again.

Katie has been very accommodating and patient as we do some drop-in meetings so that she and SugarBear can get to know each other, as a lead-in into a longer, dog-sitting session. I appreciate Katie being available to work with SugarBear, who is always happy (too happy!) to see her.

Highly recommend. My first time using Rover and wasn’t sure what to expect. I usually take my two (older but active) dogs with me on trips, but couldn’t this time. Sarah bonded with the dogs quickly, and then went beyond my expectations in check-ins, providing not just basic care, but giving meds, playing with them, and giving me the reassurance I needed.

This is the second time Faith has looked after my dog. Our interpersonal interaction was cordial. She sent pics of my dog, and he seemed like a pretty inferior guard dog based on how it seemed he interacted with her. My dog seemed happy when I got home. In other words, I'd request Faith's services again.
Danica was so good with our senior dog! She is loving and gentle and sent us regular updates with photos and information. When we needed to add a day on at the last minute due to travel delays, she was flexible and happy to help. I strongly recommend Danica for your pet’s care.
