“She was amazing! My pup felt so at home. Sent many pictures and videos and was very attentive to every little detail. I already have another pet sitting booked with her bc she’s so great!”

“Rae is an experienced and caring sitter, and we are very happy that Ginger could stay with her. And she had a good time. Rae sent us pictures of Ginger with messages on how she was doing. It is a relief that we can leave Ginger in such capable and affectionate hands when we need to. And I am sure Ginger enjoyed the massage that she got from Rae's daughter. Thank you!”

“My dogs had a great time staying at Meghan’s house. She sent me several pictures and communicated with me very well. I highly recommend Meghan and I will be calling her again to watch my dogs.”

“I highly recommend Caitlins dog boarding service. Axel had a good time during his stay. Axel normally gets anxious in a new place and with new people but Caitlin made him feel at ease during his entire visit , which also made me enjoy my vacation because I am not worried about my little Axel’s well being. I appreciate all the pictures and the report that she gives you at the end of the day with all the details about how much he ate, how many times he went outside and the potty breaks. Caitlin, Thank you so much for taking care of my little baby…”

“She did a very good job caring for my dog. He usually gets a little nervous being in unfamiliar settings which makes him not want to eat as much. She cared enough to still try to get him to eat something during his stay which I do appreciate. I would book again!”

About: Hey everyone, my name is Aric. I am originally from Peoria, Illinois but live in Champaign, Illinois. I have had dogs and cats my entire life. We get along great. Currently, I have one dog and two cats of my own. I have extra space in my house and am able to keep Rover animals separate. Please read all of my profile and contact me before requesting a service. One important thing to know is that Rover adds additional booking fees to my rates. If you can pay directly via Cashapp, Venmo, or Zelle, my rates will be lower than what is listed. Or, if you prefer to still use Rover for payments, that is ok. Send me a message if you have any questions. Hola a todos, me llamo Aric (Eric con A) y muchas personas que hablan el español me llaman mi segundo nombre Enrike (Enrique con K). Soy de Peoria, Illinois y vivo en Champaign, Illinois. He tenido perros y gatos toda mi vida. I take great care of my animals every day. I am very good with structed routines for me and my animals. Currently, my dog and two cats live with me. I replenish their food and water twice each day and socialize with them every day. Drop-In Visits: I am very flexible and adaptable to most environments and most needs of my clients and their humans. My profile accurately reflects services and prices. However, there may be some potential flexibility in order to meet the needs of my clients. Please read my entire profile including the introduction area where I mention how Rover adds additional booking fees to my rates. Day Care and/or Boarding: All my animals are up-to-date on vaccines. My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.
“Kellie was phenomenal with our dog, Baylee. We had been having problems with Baylee eating and Kellie was able to find something she would eat. Along with managing the number of treats Baylee received, Kellie took Baylee for numerous walks (I think daily), that we think our dog lost weight - which was desperately needed. We are continuing with Kellie's start to a new regimen for Baylee in hopes of making her healthier. Thanks for everything, Kellie!!”

“Rachel took care of our dog, Autumn, for the week between Christmas and New Years. She was wonderful! Her home is a warm, comfortable, friendly place for any pet, and she took Autumn on long engaging walks, and even hiking in nearby state parks. She sent regular photos, with heartwarming and hilarious descriptions of how Autumn was getting along with the cats and chickens. Rachel was super communicative, and we are so grateful she was able to accommodate pick up and drop off on holidays - not many folks can/will do that. It means the world to have found a sitter like Rachel; we will definitely reach out to her the next time we travel without our pup!”

“Katherine did an excellent job of taking care of my Winnie, a large, athletic dog who craves attention from people. Katherine kept her engaged, playing games with her and throwing the ball in the backyard. She clearly has a lot of experience with dogs. Winnie came home a very happy pup.”

“Nina was available when I booked her last minute, she was very accommodating and asked a lot of questions about Nikko to best take care of him, which I very much appreciate! Nikko was so calm when I picked him up! I could tell he trusted him even for a short time he spent with Nina!”

“Elaine was great! Chili had a great time with her. She was informative and sent lots of pictures/videos to us. She was also flexible and easy to book with. I will be using her again!”

“Aric was great checking in our two cats while we went on vacation! He made sure they were doing well and refilled their food and water each time. He went as far as cleaning the litter box too which was a huge help to us! He’s a great choice for check in visits!”

“Michelle is wonderful. She’s very aware of any and all changes with my cats and spends quality time with them to make them feel comfortable. She also goes above and beyond to help them feel settled with the stress of me being gone”

“Amber clearly loves animals and was great with our two kitties over the holiday season! I worry a lot leaving our girls because they are very attached to me and my fiancé, but Amber gave them lots of attention. She was also very reliable and communicative. I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve owned cats since I was twelve years old, and taken care of plenty. I can give insulin shots, ‘nuff said. Genuinely, though, I adore cats and everything about them. I’m comfortable giving medications, cleaning bathroom uses both in and out of the litter box, and more. I’ never pushy with any animals, but especially cats because I know they’ll make it known if they want attention. Your cat will love me.

“Sophie was fantastic, and we will definitely be booking again. We felt very comfortable leaving our 2 cats in their care, which was such a relief! Great communication, and we got several photos and updates. Thanks again!”

“Joey & Sydney are our go-to pet sitters! They take excellent care of our three cats with diverse needs and ages, including our super senior with medication needs. I look forward to getting the updates and pictures during our travels, and I love knowing my cats are being taken care of well.”

“Kenzie is the best cat sitter we've ever had. She communicates well and all our cats love her. She has been patient and loving to our cats. Will def hire her again to look after our furry babies.”

“Rilee loves animals and goes above and beyond to take care of them! Updates were also thorough and timely. I felt really reassured that my cats were OK during my 5-day trip away, and didn’t need to worry!”

“Sarah was a wonderful pet sitter! We got updates and pictures, which were not expected but totally appreciated. She was communicative, easy to work with, and so very kind to our doggies, even spending a little extra time with them. We couldn’t be happier with her!”

“My German Shepherd dog fell in love with Tanya at first sight! She's obviously loves animals. Everything went great, will definitely book Tanya again! Appreciated the photos of my dog and cat while I was away!”

“Aratrika has been a kind, loving partner in caring for Luna, our pup. Luna has a lot of puppy energy and loves being around people and other dogs. When Aratrika cares for Luna, she gets love and attention, as well as dog friends to play with. She has a big backyard, so the dogs get plenty of outdoor time, plus walks and cuddles. Very grateful I found her on Rover. I definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a loving sitter!”

“Excellent. Feiran very laid back and sweet with dogs. Sent me updates of my three year old golden's first daycare day. He is rather spoiled and with me a great deal and he did great there. And, boy, was he tired last night. He slept from 8:45 pm to 8:45 am.”

“Ryan was our first time using Rover and he was awesome! Our silken windhound Maverick loved playing with his border collies. I loved getting updates with pictures of them playing together. It’s so hard to find someone who will do daycare for a non-neutered show dog, even when they have zero behavioral problems. 100% recommend Ryan if you want your pup to have a great day!”

“Rae took our pup on Thanksgiving day, and we had a great experience! She was very responsive and flexible, sent numerous adorable picture and video updates throughout the day, and made sure he got plenty of walks! Our dog, who can be anxious around new people, seemed to really enjoy his time at Rae’s house! Highly recommend Rae!”

About: I’ve had a dog of my own since 2020. I made sure to enroll him in doggie daycare to get that enjoyment while I’m away at work. I started working from home which gave me more time to spend with my dog. I realized how close we got and how spoiled I made him. I love dogs and will care for each dog as if they are my own. I’m currently working from home. This allows me a lot of time with my dog and other dogs potentially. I set my own hours so I am able to care for the pet when needed Sticking to a routine, ensuring adequate food and fresh water is provided. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring it is a safe culture. The dogs will be cared for

“Our doodle is always SO happy to go with Caitlyn! (She might love Caitlyn more than she loves us, tbh.) Caitlyn is just so calm and good with dogs - she can even clean those fluffy ears sometimes, which is so above and beyond for a “dog sitter”… she’s more like our pooch’s second family. Her house is organized to be dog friendly. I recommend her for doggie daycare AND boarding!”

About: I like most sitters, love all animals and have always been a big animal person. My strongest skills would be senior care. I have taken care of a lot of senior dogs and cats over the years. I myself also have a senior dog. My senior dog also has epilepsy. She’s medicated, but still has seizure semi often so given that I’ve also gained skills in administrating medicine and also dealing well with stressful situations with a pet. I also do have experience sitting puppies and younger dogs so I’m also very comfortable with more energetic dogs that want play and adventure. I’m a dependable sitter and I’m confident that I can care for and love on your pet just like you would when you’re not able to. I currently have a very free schedule and have pretty much open availability most weeks or in general I am able to be pretty flexible. I provide a safe, clean, and stress-free environment for all pets I care for. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and routines. I make sure pets always have fresh water, supervision, and a secure environment, while also keeping the client’s home clean, respectful, and secure at all times.
“Megan and Eric were so easy to work with! Communication and booking were a breeze, and our dog was super happy at drop off and pickup. Great people with a perfect setup for your pet. Definitely recommend!”
About: I adopted Hanson, a retired guide dog, and he’s now an angel in heaven. He showed me how deep the bond with a dog can be and is the reason I started caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve looked after many dogs for friends and family. I give them lots of love and attention, and every pet I’ve cared for has grown really close to me. I treat each one like they’re my own. Pet care is part of my everyday life. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just spending quality time with them, caring for animals is something I naturally make time for. It’s not just a task—it’s something I truly enjoy and look forward to each day. I live alone, so pets get my full attention and a quiet, calm space to relax in. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable—whether that’s sticking to their routine, giving lots of playtime and cuddles, or just being nearby so they don’t feel alone. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow any instructions closely to keep things familiar for their pet.

I’m a part-time hairstylist with a flexible schedule! I’m available for overnight care after 4 PM Tuesday–Saturday, and fully open on Sundays and Mondays (my weekend). I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with no other animals in the home—perfect for pets who need one-on-one attention. I understand how much your furry family member means to you, especially after recently losing my own beloved dog. I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care I gave my own, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and right at home. I also have a pet car seat and stroller holding up to 30lbs to ensure the most comfortably and safety for your fur baby.
About: Hi! I’m Bailey — I’ve worked in the vet field my entire career and am studying to become a veterinarian. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters and love all animals! With my experience and care, your pets will be in great hands for pet sitting. I am currently only working part time and have tons of time on my hands my main focus will be caring for pets and college! I have three cats and a snake myself, I have grown up with dogs, cats, reptiles, you name it. Caring for pets will always be my priority!
About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

About: Hello! I've enjoyed working with animals for all of my life. I have lived in the Champaign area at various times over the past 10 years with my father. I have not had experience working on Rover before but I'm looking forward to helping pet owners in the area! I recently moved back from Japan, so I've been searching for temporary employment in the Champaign area before starting graduate school in the fall. I have time available during the day, evenings and on weekends to provide care for pets. I can follow instructions on what care you need for your pet! I am not able to offer care in my own home, but I'm happy to do what it takes to meet your needs.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 6 years. If not my own, family’s or friends. I love all types of animals and caring for them. I have a dog of my own whom I trained as well. Pet care fits into my daily life because I’m majoring in Animal Sciences and would love to be able to be around more pets! In addition, I miss my dog so being around others, would make my day and help me relax. I’ll always keep dogs safe and have what is needed for them. The environment is extremely safe and don’t have to worry about your pets safety.
About: Hi!! I’m Meghan. I have dog sat multiple times for multiple kinds of dogs in various settings, and would love to meet your furry family member. I currently work a hybrid situation. I’m in the office Monday-Wednesday with availability to be home over the lunch hour. Thursday and Friday I work from home. I’m 37, live in my own home, and have a fully fenced-in backyard. I take daily walks around my cute Champaign neighborhood, and I would love to have a furry friend join me!

About: I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs, including Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas and Goldendoodles. I also used to have a chihuahua of my own🐾 I’m committed to following each pet’s routine and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care💕 I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your furry friend! I am available any time and any day of the week. “Theresa did a great job! I needed a walker short notice but my usual weren't available. She had prompt communication, showed up on time, updated me w/pics, and my very good boy seemed very happy when I arrived home.”

About: Beyond generic dog sitting for family as a kid or walking the dogs around my neighborhood (which I did), I currently own two small breed rescue dogs. One is a seinor with IVDD, and the other is a puppy with a luxating patella, so I've seen both ends of the scale. I am no stranger to giving animals insulin shots and medications, dealing with accidents of all kinds, animals with mobility issues, managing untrained dogs, and more! Also, I have fostered dogs before, so I am well aware of the proper way to introduce yourself to an animal, dog body language, warning signs, and stress signals. Ever since I've gotten my newest puppy, I've really been put through the wringer training wise. I've learned positive ways to shape behavior in dogs, even in a short amount of time, and I would never dream of using aversive behavior management methods unless that is currently part of the dog's training plan. For cats, I’ve spent years growing up with and living with cats. I’m experienced with giving cats syringe medications and shots. Scooping litter and cleaning up accidents is no big deal around here! I work part time, and I have a vehicle, so I’m able to attend to your pet’s needs whenever necessary. I’m used to waking up at dawn for walks, and I am certainly no stranger to a middle of the night potty break. Your pet’s needs will always come first. All boundaries are always respected for animals. I’m a stranger in their home, and I am very aware of that. My job is to keep them fed and walked and safe. I love animals, so I’m always happy to give pets or cuddles, but only if they ask.

About: I’ve been around pets for as long as I can remember, so I’m very familiar with their daily needs, routines, and behavior. I also have experience dog sitting, where I’ve helped with walking, feeding, and spending time with pets. I bring strong responsibility and attentiveness from working in both an elementary school and a retirement home through Greencroft Communities! These experiences taught me how to follow detailed instructions, stay patient, and provide consistent, caring support in structured environments. I apply the same level of reliability and attention when caring for pets, making sure they are safe, comfortable, and well looked after during walks and sitting visits. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I have a flexible schedule and am available most days. I enjoy a long walk with dogs if needed but short walks are perfect too! Drop-ins and sitting visits are something I will adjust my time as needed to provide consistent and reliable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and respect for the home environment. I follow all provided instructions closely, maintain the pet’s normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I stay attentive during visits and communicate with owners if anything changes or needs attention. I treat each pet as if they were my own and focus on making sure they feel comfortable, calm, and well cared for while their owner is away.
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10, my own included. I have been pet sitting for neighbors ever since I was 10. I am a graduate student so my hours during the day and night are largely flexible. I am usually completely free during the weekend. I can usually adapt to the routine and pet needs I live in a pet friendly apartment with outdoor yard space. I am very active and love to take dogs on the walks/runs and/or to nearby parks.
“I’m so grateful to have found Sarah and to have her walking my dog when I have long work days. My senior dog has gotten even more finicky as she’s aged, and Sarah totally follows her lead on whether she wants a longer walk or some extra belly rubs each day, and Sarah keeps me posted on how Ava is doing during the day. It’s such a relief and gives me so much peace of mind!”

“As first time users of the Rover site, we were lucky to connect with Amber. She’s experienced, professional, & friendly. She quickly got to know our Finley, taking him on awesome walks for 10 days.”

“Bailey and Wade were fantastic with our senior “high maintenance” dog. We received daily updates and pictures of our guy having the best time! They did great calming him when storms came through! Definitely will book with Bailey & Wade again! Thank you!😊”

“Gilana was an incredible sitter for my dog, Edison! I recently moved into town and it’s always tricky to find someone new to trust with caring for your pet. Gilana was kind, communicative, and clearly made Edison feel right at home. I also felt extra confident that Edison was in good hands knowing she is training in the veterinary field. What really made her stand out is I had a very stressful, last-minute flight change, which left me stuck across the country for an extra day. Gilana was able to extend coverage for Edison. I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her flexibility and understanding. Thank you, Gilana!”

“Definitely would recommend Christiana for watching my baby boy again. Communication was great and in a timely manner and we were comfortable with her from the first meet and greet! Our puppy was well taken care of.”

“Both of my doodles had a wonderful time and were absolutely exhausted when they got home. He did a great job of sending pictures and updating us throughout the stay. We will definitely rebook. Thanks for taking care of our babies!”
