About: I have been around animals my entire life. I once had dreams of being a vet and spent two summers as an intern at a vet clinic, but learned quickly that that is not necessarily the career to choose just because you love animals, haha. That being said, I love both dogs and cats and have been a volunteer at animal shelters since 2017. I currently have a sweet but shy 6 year old cat named Rhiannon. I work remotely on weekdays, so I am home throughout the day for companionship and frequent potty breaks, if needed. I love to go on evening walks in my local park as well. I live in a single family home with an unfenced yard, but any bathroom breaks would be under my full watch and care. I have one sweet but shy cat, but she has her own room if your pet is not okay with other animals.

About: Hi! I’m currently a graduate student with a flexible schedule, and I would love to walk and take care of your pets! I’ve taken care of my family dog nearly all my life, she was a chihuahua who developed doggy dementia in her later years so I have experience with senior dogs. I also adopted two kittens a few years back, so I also have experience with cats and kittens as young as 2 months old, and would love to look after your cat! My family also adopted a bunny last year, so I have experience looking after binky rabbits as well! Depending on your pet’s needs, I can take them on walks, drop in for feedings, play with them, or just hang out with them. Your pet’s safety, health, and happiness is my number one priority, so I will be sure to follow your instructions when caring for your pet. I’m currently a graduate student, but my schedule is relatively flexible. I am available on weekends and most weekdays, so I would be happy to do drop in visits for your pet or take them on walks! I will always make sure that your pet is safe and well taken care of, and will provide as many updates and pictures as needed to make you feel comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10, my own included. I have been pet sitting for neighbors ever since I was 10. I am a graduate student so my hours during the day and night are largely flexible. I am usually completely free during the weekend. I can usually adapt to the routine and pet needs I live in a pet friendly apartment with outdoor yard space. I am very active and love to take dogs on the walks/runs and/or to nearby parks.

About: I have been pet sitting dogs since I was in high school, and I always make it a priority to follow each owner’s instructions carefully so their pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I have also worked and volunteered at a veterinary clinic for about four years, which has given me valuable hands-on experience with animals and helped me better understand their behavior, comfort, and needs. I am currently studying Animal Sciences and preparing for veterinary school, so caring for animals is something I take very seriously. I also have a 10-year-old dog named Niko, and taking care of him every day has taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and recognizing when a pet may need extra attention. I have experience caring for both senior and adult dogs, as well as energetic and highly active pets. I understand the importance of respecting an animal’s boundaries and paying attention to body language and signs of stress or discomfort. If an owner has specific concerns, routines, or instructions, I make sure to respect them and provide the level of care they expect. My goal is always to help pets feel secure, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. I am a full-time student at the University of Illinois, and I also work part-time and participate in campus organizations. My schedule still gives me plenty of time throughout the week to care for pets. On weekdays, I often have gaps between classes when I can stop by for walks or check-ins, and I am usually available after 5:00 P.M. My availability may vary slightly depending on my class and work schedule. On Saturdays, I am available most of the day, and on Sundays I am generally available before 3:00 P.M. I am happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit both of our schedules. I always make safety my top priority when walking a dog. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding walking routes, leash or harness use, interactions with other dogs, feeding, treats, and any special needs. Before each walk, I make sure the leash and equipment are secure, and during the walk I stay aware of traffic, weather conditions, other animals, and anything that could make the dog uncomfortable or unsafe. My experience working and volunteering in a veterinary clinic has also helped me learn how to read animal body language and recognize signs of stress or discomfort. I respect every dog’s boundaries and adjust the walk based on their energy level, age, and individual needs. I also make sure they have access to water and are safely returned home after every walk.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 6 years. If not my own, family’s or friends. I love all types of animals and caring for them. I have a dog of my own whom I trained as well. Pet care fits into my daily life because I’m majoring in Animal Sciences and would love to be able to be around more pets! In addition, I miss my dog so being around others, would make my day and help me relax. I’ll always keep dogs safe and have what is needed for them. The environment is extremely safe and don’t have to worry about your pets safety.

About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, snakes, tarantulas, and horses. With my love and closeness to animals growing up, I continued into the veterinary medicine world after high school and have worked within clinic settings for the past 7 years! I am experienced and comfortable with administering both oral and injectable medications, bathing, and much more. I plan to become a certified veterinary technician as well in the near future. While I do work full time during the week, I am still often able to accommodate multiple visits a day due to my lunch break! I don’t mind an early morning to make sure your pets are taken care of before the workday either. Because mid-day visits are on my break, the time I will be available for these visit will be dependent on the travel time. As my apartment is too small to accommodate any dogs or additional cats, I would be treating your home with the utmost respect! It’s your (and especially your pet’s) safe space, and that needs to be protected. I will always clean up after any messes if they are made by your pet and reach out to make sure you’re aware!

About: I have lived with dogs and cats my whole life since I was born with the dogs ranging in sizes from Chihuahuas to Rottweilers. I have volunteered at 2 different animal shelters since I was 15 years old as well as fostered both cats and dogs. I have experience in training young pets from working with my own over the years I work a flexible part-time schedule, meaning I am only away for a few hours at a time during the week. My schedule is completely open on weekends for boarding. Your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks! I live in a spacious apartment within a secure, gated community surrounded by walking trails. My home is a quiet, low-stress environment with just me and my roommate. As a professional caregiver for humans, I am highly experienced in following specific routine instructions and will treat your space and your pet with the utmost respect.

I originally wanted to be a vet but ended in wildlife biology. I've volunteered for shelters and rehabilitation for animals. I can work from home, so that gives me plenty of time to take care of the pets I sit. I like to spend as much time as possible with the pets I watch. About: I recently graduated with an animal science degree for uiuc, and I working as a vet assistant for the last 2 years. I have a high level of knowledge when it comes to your pet's needs and behavior. I have also grown up taking care of dogs, from all sorts of breeds and size. I have countless expirence administering medication (oral and injectable) to cats and dog. I also have no problem handling more aggressive animals as well :) I also am comfortable doing whatever you need with your pet to make them feel at home! Your animal is my number one priority! I am a part time nursing student as well as working part time on the weekends. I able to check in/take care of your pet in the morning, afternoons, and evenings; working them into my daily routine while keeping their routine as similar as I can! I am able to provide more breaks outside and exercise on a needed basis depending on your pets needs!! I will feed, bath, play with your pet, walk them, and bring them to a dogs park so they can socialize, I am perfectly fine with working with you as an owner to fit your pets needs to make sure they are being taken care of the way YOU want when you are away!

About: Aside from growing up with dogs, I have had several positions at the Champaign County Humane Society, including the Foster Care Coordinator, the Animal Care Supervisor & Surgery Assistant (I have also worked in Adoptions and Medical Lab). Just some of my responsibilities included provided the feeding, cleaning, and general care for shelter pets, modifying challenging behavior in dogs, administering medication to animals, and prepping/monitoring patients under anesthesia (occasionally scrubbing in to emergency surgeries). Working in the shelter, I've handled reptiles, small mammals, cats, dogs, and birds. I've personally owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, and hamsters, but dogs will always have my heart! I grew up with a German Shepherd, but love working with any and all dogs. I am very patient with animals and understand that every dog is an individual who needs specific attention and unique care. My patience has proven to be a strong characteristic for dogs who are high energy, elderly, sick, or timid. Many of them need special time set aside so they are still enriched and kept healthy and happy, which is one of the most satisfying feelings in the world. Dogs truly are the best. I am an early riser and love staying active and engaged, whether that means sitting quietly with a pet or going on a long walk. I also have flexibility throughout the afternoon and evenings to drop-in during my work hours to let an animal out, give the animal medication, and/or tend to any other needs. Pet care is wholly part of my life and work. My main focus with any pet is to make the animal as comfortable as possible and adapt to the animal’s needs. I enjoy playing with animals, training them, and spending time getting to know their personalities.

About: I have been around animals my whole life, I got my own dog when I was in elementary school and he still means the world to me this day. I always took the initiative to care for my pets growing up and that’s carried into my adult life as well. I think expressing love to animals is so important because we’re all they have. I have a dog myself and he is my world. Your fur babes deserve all the love in the world and I’d love to give it to them! I have many years of experience caring for dogs and I’m very confident in the care I can provide!
