About: I’ve had pets for the majority of my life. I have taken care of dogs, both small and big. Additionally, I have owned cats, mice, fish, ferrets and hamsters. I have experience bottle feeding animals, along with provide any oral medications. I was an animal care intern at the CCHS, where I worked closely with mainly dogs. I am also an animal sciences major, which has provided me with a wide variety of experiences with both companion, farm and exotic animals. I am basically free to take care of your pets throughout the entire summer in the area. So I am able to make pet care part of my daily routine. I can easily crate your pets and can make sure they aren’t getting into anything that isn’t good for them. I have also studied animal behavior in class, so I will be able to read your pet’s cues. I also have hours worth of experience leashing and walking dogs.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 6 years. If not my own, family’s or friends. I love all types of animals and caring for them. I have a dog of my own whom I trained as well. Pet care fits into my daily life because I’m majoring in Animal Sciences and would love to be able to be around more pets! In addition, I miss my dog so being around others, would make my day and help me relax. I’ll always keep dogs safe and have what is needed for them. About: Hello! I've enjoyed working with animals for all of my life. I have lived in the Champaign area at various times over the past 10 years with my father. I have not had experience working on Rover before but I'm looking forward to helping pet owners in the area! I recently moved back from Japan, so I've been searching for temporary employment in the Champaign area before starting graduate school in the fall. About: Beyond generic dog sitting for family as a kid or walking the dogs around my neighborhood (which I did), I currently own two small breed rescue dogs. One is a seinor with IVDD, and the other is a puppy with a luxating patella, so I've seen both ends of the scale. I am no stranger to giving animals insulin shots and medications, dealing with accidents of all kinds, animals with mobility issues, managing untrained dogs, and more! Also, I have fostered dogs before, so I am well aware of the proper way to introduce yourself to an animal, dog body language, warning signs, and stress signals. Ever since I've gotten my newest puppy, I've really been put through the wringer training wise. I've learned positive ways to shape behavior in dogs, even in a short amount of time, and I would never dream of using aversive behavior management methods unless that is currently part of the dog's training plan. For cats, I’ve spent years growing up with and living with cats. I’m experienced with giving cats syringe medications and shots. Scooping litter and cleaning up accidents is no big deal around here! I work part time, and I have a vehicle, so I’m able to attend to your pet’s needs whenever necessary. I’m used to waking up at dawn for walks, and I am certainly no stranger to a middle of the night potty break. Your pet’s needs will always come first. All boundaries are always respected for animals. I’m a stranger in their home, and I am very aware of that. My job is to keep them fed and walked and safe. I love animals, so I’m always happy to give pets or cuddles, but only if they ask.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
