Availability
While I do work full time during the week, I am still often able to accommodate multiple visits a day due to my lunch break! I don’t mind an early morning to make sure your pets are taken care of before the workday either. Because mid-day visits are on my break, the time I will be available for these visit will be dependent on the travel time.

As my apartment is too small to accommodate any dogs or additional cats, I would be treating your home with the utmost respect! It’s your (and especially your pet’s) safe space, and that needs to be protected. I will always clean up after any messes if they are made by your pet and reach out to make sure you’re aware!

A typical day
Whether your dog is looking for a long walk and exercise or your cat just wants a lap to lay on - I am happy to tend to your pets specific wants and needs! Love to play fetch or tug of war with the dogs, and can’t forget the laser pointer for cats.

Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of our family dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, snakes, tarantulas, and horses. With my love and closeness to animals growing up, I continued into the veterinary medicine world after high school and have worked within clinic settings for the past 7 years! I am experienced and comfortable with administering both oral and injectable medications, bathing, and much more. I plan to become a certified veterinary technician as well in the near future.

Ryan has always had a love for all types of animals. As a child, he always wanted a pet of his own so we started with the usual goldfish. Once he showed his commitment in caring for it, we went forward fast. He’s had, loved and cared for Guinea pigs, birds, snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, horses, dogs, cats and even axolotls. He has a natural knack for reading and calming animals and they just seem drawn to him. With the added benefit that he works at a small animal hospital, your animal would be in the best care with Ryan!
Ryan has been taking care of my three dogs for years now and I never feel so confident about their care than when he watches them. He always goes above and beyond, taking them on walks, giving extra love, and spending extra time with them. He is easy to communicate with and pays attention to details. Two of my three dogs get daily medications and I never have to worry that doses may be getting missed when Ryan is with them. They always love to see him ❤️
