About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! Misty was very attentive while we showed her around the house, explained our routines, and chatted about our furry ladies. We worked together to adjust the "drop in" schedule a bit to work within the needs of our pups and her work schedule. She was very flexible and easy to work with. Throughout our all, it was apparent that she wanted to give our pups the best care possible. We returned to two happy and healthy puppies. About: I have been pet sitting dogs since I was in high school, and I always make it a priority to follow each owner’s instructions carefully so their pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
