I offer pet care where pets are most comfortable, in their own home! I am happy to visit your pet (dog, cat, bird, ferret, fish, goats, whatever you've got!) at your home for feeding, medications, potty breaks, exercise and attention. (Bringing in the mail and watering plants is also included if these things are needed!) I am extremely comfortable and experienced with elderly and special-needs pets and can give oral, topical and injected medications as needed. I am also comfortable with pets recovering from surgery or that need to continue their physical therapy or vet visits while you are away. I grew up with all kinds of pets and am comfortable with large and small animals. As a member of the Dog Training Club of Champaign-Urbana and dog training class instructor, I really enjoy working with pets and their people! SORRY, AT THIS TIME, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY NEW HOME BOARDING CLIENTS. I AM STILL MORE THAN HAPPY TO DO CARE VISITS TO YOUR HOME, PLEASE MESSAGE FOR MORE INFO AND CUSTOM QUOTE. Info for existing clients only: After a Meet and Greet, your pet may be able to stay with us. My spouse and I, along with our 2 dogs and 1 cat, would love to entertain your furry friend. IMPORTANT INFO: We both work during the week so dogs are crated during the day with an hour long lunch break, free in the evenings and then crated overnight. For many dogs (including our own) this is their current routine at home and they are comfortable with this. These are the dogs that our home boarding works well for. If your dog is not crated regularly or sleeps in bed with you, our home is not the right fit. Our smoke-free house is a three bedroom with attached garage and large windows, great for watching birds! Our dogs LOVE spending time in our large fully fenced backyard, chasing rabbits and squirrels, We can pick up and drop off if needed. And in case of emergencies, we are less than a 10 minute drive from the Animal Emergency Clinic. BEFORE REQUESTING A MEET AND GREET, PLEASE READ: Your dog must be house-trained, dog and cat friendly, crate trained (meaning they are accustomed to sleeping quietly in their closed crate overnight) and up-to-date on vaccinations.
