Some important information I would like to know for dog walks is how the dog behaves around other dogs and people we might run in to while out. For drop in visits I would like to know ahead of time how the dog or cat is around new people to see if we would need to schedule a meet and greet before hand.
A typical day
For dogs walks, I would find different routes to walk each time with different sights and smells for enrichment. For drop in visits, I would utilize what toys are available and ask for permission for other enrichment activities such as puzzle feeders, lick mats, or new toys.
