About: I grew up taking care of our family dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, snakes, tarantulas, and horses. With my love and closeness to animals growing up, I continued into the veterinary medicine world after high school and have worked within clinic settings for the past 7 years! I am experienced and comfortable with administering both oral and injectable medications, bathing, and much more. I plan to become a certified veterinary technician as well in the near future. While I do work full time during the week, I am still often able to accommodate multiple visits a day due to my lunch break! I don’t mind an early morning to make sure your pets are taken care of before the workday either. Because mid-day visits are on my break, the time I will be available for these visit will be dependent on the travel time. As my apartment is too small to accommodate any dogs or additional cats, I would be treating your home with the utmost respect! It’s your (and especially your pet’s) safe space, and that needs to be protected. I will always clean up after any messes if they are made by your pet and reach out to make sure you’re aware!

I grew up caring for cats, dogs, and horses. I loved walking the neighborhood dogs as a kid and I'm excited to continue doing so as an adult. I’ve been happy to be pet sitting with Rover for approximately 4 years now. MY EXPERIENCE INCLUDES: Dogs, cats, exotic pets, freshwater fish, livestock, & farm animals. I have worked in conservation, with wildlife, and have volunteered at a dog & cat rescue, as well. I’ve raised birds, goats, pigs, rabbits, etc. Animal husbandry is a passion of mine. Have taken dog training classes (: Dogs and goats = life's best friends ❤️ Cats are a close second though, if they wanna be 😉 My friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their animals in the past. About: I feel comfortable with dogs of any size, breed, or age. I am glad to follow any special instructions you give and do my best to keep your pets safe and as comfy as possible. I like to communicate or send pics while you're away so you can feel assured your pets are being well cared for. I have fostered many dogs (and adopted a few), so have experience with an array of personalities. I'm looking forward to meeting your pet family too. I work from 8 to 4:30 or 5, weekdays. Im happy to attend to your pets before and after work, in the evening and overnight, lunch breaks as well if needed. I prefer to "sitt" in your home in order to help keep them as comfy and on the same routine as possible. I believe in following the care instructions of the parents to a tee. I will give your fur babies lots of love and send you pics or videos if you'd like. I am trustworthy and dependable.

About: I have experience pet-sitting dogs from spry puppies to gentle giants and everything in between! I have been tasked with playtime, feeding time, and check-ins during the day. I'm currently working part-time, so I will be available for services before 1 pm and after 4 pm during weekdays and all day on the weekends. I have experience walking larger dogs and managing older dog's needs when exercising as well as maintaining a calm environment for anxious and/or older pets.

About: One of my earliest memories was at the age of five. My mom brought my sister home from the hospital after she was born and I asked, "Can we have a kitten instead?!" Our parents started us with goldfish like most do. We then graduated to hamsters, followed by kittens. Currently, I have two dogs of my own that I consider to be my fur babies. Our pets can be much like our children, so I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to provide the care your animals need. My experience with animals comes from having my own as well as taking care of friends and family members pets as well. I love animals so much, I paint them on canvas as another passion of mine. I am looking forward to caring for your pet and providing whatever special needs they may have in order to make you and your animal feel comfortable while you are away. I work from home as an Artist so my schedule is flexible in between appointments outside of the home. I am unavailable Tuesday nights after 5pm. Looking forward to do whatever I need to stick to your pet's routine to keep them stress free, happy and healthy. About: I’ve had pets for the majority of my life. I have taken care of dogs, both small and big. Additionally, I have owned cats, mice, fish, ferrets and hamsters. I have experience bottle feeding animals, along with provide any oral medications. I was an animal care intern at the CCHS, where I worked closely with mainly dogs. I am also an animal sciences major, which has provided me with a wide variety of experiences with both companion, farm and exotic animals. I am basically free to take care of your pets throughout the entire summer in the area. So I am able to make pet care part of my daily routine. I can easily crate your pets and can make sure they aren’t getting into anything that isn’t good for them. I have also studied animal behavior in class, so I will be able to read your pet’s cues. I also have hours worth of experience leashing and walking dogs.

About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10, my own included. I have been pet sitting for neighbors ever since I was 10. I work full time 830-430 so I am mostly available in the late afternoon/at night. My hours in those times are flexible. I am usually completely free during the weekend. I live in a pet friendly apartment with outdoor yard space. I have a roommate who loves all animals. I am very active and love to take dogs on the walks/runs and/or to nearby parks.

About: I love all animals and I have pets ranging from reptiles to cats and dogs. I have experience working with fearful pets and pets with aggression issues. During my time working in animal shelters and veterinary clinics, I handled and worked with pets of all different temperaments and training levels. Please let me know if there’s anything you are working with your pet on (jumping, mouthing, frustrated leash tugging, pulling, etc) and how you would like to have me work with them if that happens. I am comfortable medicating and caring for all of your pets needs as I am a certified veterinary technologist with an Associate in veterinary technology and Bachelors in animal sciences with a concentration of companion animals. My love for animal care started when I began volunteering at animal shelters and horse stables in middle school. It has continued to grow into a passion and career. I have been working in veterinary toxicology since 2017. I have a special interest in animal behavior and training. I have worked through my own dog’s stranger aggression, and reactivity to dogs and people. With lots of consistency and training, she was able to get her AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. I am currently working with an adult foster dog that came from a neglectful and abusive household. Right now I am teaching him how to ‘dog’ and basic manners. I work Sunday to Wednesday or Monday to Thursday but usually have a flexible schedule for drop ins and I’m available after work. I am open to coming to stay for house sittings during the week and working from your home. Saturday to Sunday I have open availability. I will treat your home as I would want others to treat mine. I will keep your home tidy and clean up what I can so when you come home you can relax! Thorough details of how you want your pet and home to be cared for is always welcomed! I have a lot of plants so I don’t mind helping with any house plant care. For any overnight stays, please let me know what appliances I can or cannot use, where you would like for me to stay, etc. House sitting can be a tricky topic since the needs can vary so much between individuals. My house sitting base rate includes an overnight care (can adjust hours depending on your pet’s routine & this includes all potty breaks, snuggles, enrichment, etc while I’m in the home), midday potty break, meals, and one focused walk/exercise session (example: before dinner). If your pets need more exercise, care, or attention, this is not a problem! We can discuss additional drop ins and walks as needed and I can adjust the fees as appropriate.

About: Hey there, I own Emma’s Happy Hounds LLC and I’ve taken care of animals since I was 15 years old. I’ve always had a passion to take care of pets and be surrounded by them. This job can be hard but it’s very rewarding in the end. I love being able to make deeper connections with my clients and their fur babies! I’ve had multiple jobs surrounding boarding, daycare, and grooming with cats and dogs! I’ve had lots of experience dealing with different behaviors like puppies, seniors, diabetics, high and low energy. I also have a year of veterinary technician school under my belt. About: I dog sat for many people in my town during all years of high school and first two years of college! I moved farther away from home and would love to meet new furry friends! My weekends are completely open and my Tuesdays and Thursdays only have one two hour lab working with animals! Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays I have more classes but I have breaks in between where I could check in on pets! I always understand that each situation and animal is different so I always ask that the owner tell me exactly how they care for the animal and want me to care for them. For instance, I’ve had clients with elderly dogs on multiple medications needing a chill and very safe environment from other animals, and I’ve had other clients where their animal roams throughout the house all day and their cat comes in and out! Both are completely fine I just like to know what the animals are used to!
