About: I am a veterinary assistant with Public Vet, where I complete physical exams on over 100 cats a day! In my free time, I foster and work hard to get my kitties adopted after fulfilling their medical and love-needs. I have had many dogs in the past, but have only fostered one. An English Bulldog with spina bifida-Lyla. She was disabled and completely incontinent, and required much care. I love and miss her dearly, she is now 2 years old and has been with her forever family for 2 years! If your pet has any medical needs, you can count on me to take care of them every step of the way. If you are someone who enjoys photos of your best friend, expect many! (In addition to Dannie, I also go by my nickname-Mae!) I am currently a student and work occasionally at the local cat cafe and part-time at a veterinary clinic. Most of my nights I spend studying. Most of my weekdays are spent in and out of class. Having your pet at home would occur on nights and days when my work load is the least (some days I only have 1-2 classes), that way your pets needs are never compromised. Pets in my care are firstly loved on tremendously. I am also happy to meet any requirements owners have for their pets. Is your pet afraid of the TV for some reason? It will never be on. This goes for in my own home, and in yours as well.

About: I've had dogs and cats growing up my entire life. I absolutely love animals and would love the opportunity to meet yours! We currently have our cat, Piper, and Boston Terrier, Pongo. I work from home, so I would be home all day with your animals. I'm able to take breaks whenever for potty breaks, and we have a small, fenced in, front yard. Our complex also has a lot of walking pathes & with permission we love taking pets for longer walks around the area. We did recently move from Indiana to North Carolina, so please not we are now located in North Carolina for services. We live in a 3 bedroom townhome with a small fenced in front yard. We have plenty of sidewalks for walking & are just beside a larger dog park as well. My husband and I work together, so we are able to always be attentive to your pets needs.

About: I have taken care of my own pets and other people’s pets my whole life (25+ years). I grew up with a rescue sheltie named Kali and watched my neighbor’s cats as a kid. After high school, I attended Purdue University to get my B.S. in Animal Science and gained experience working with animals of all varieties (small, large, wildlife, laboratory, exotics). I became passionate about animal medicine and decided I wanted to go to veterinary school. I got into the Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine after only three years of undergrad and have been studying there the last four years. I am Fear Free Certified for dogs and cats and am comfortable working with any species of any size. I am able to provide quality medical care to any pet such as oral or injectable medications, subcutaneous fluids, monitoring heart rates, respiratory rates, mucous membranes, pulses, blood pressure, Libres, Holter-monitors, and other supportive care your pet may need. I have received extensive CPR training for dogs and cats and have worked with pets in any condition you can think of (geriatric, neonatal, critical condition, post-operatively, diabetics, Addison’s, hyper/hypothyroid, seizure dogs and cats, heart diseases, neurological disorders, non-ambulatory, etc.). You name it, I’ve probably seen it before! I currently have an adorable and loving beagle named Marshall who is a retired research dog. I also had a cat named Sylvie that I rescued in Ohio, but she passed away very recently. Let me know if you have any other species at your home that need attention! I love all pocket pets, birds, reptiles/amphibians, rabbits, and other exotic pets. I also love horses, pigs, llamas, alpacas, chickens, goats, cattle, sheep, and any other farm animal you might have on your property. I am currently a part-time student and have a flexible schedule. I can work with you to arrange what is best for you and your pet’s needs, and will ensure that my calendar is updated regularly with my availability. I will respect the safety and wishes of my clients in regards to caring for their pets in their households or while out on a walk. I believe that trust can be established by listening to a clients desires and goals and devoting myself to helping the client achieve them.

About: I am an animal lover at heart. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs along with snuggling with my cat. I had helped taken care of an elder cavalier. He was happy but had some health issues near the end. Having a cat has opened my eyes to a whole new world of feline fun and cuddles. My schedule is currently flexible. I would be available during the day normally and occasionally on the weekends. I’ll do my best to accommodate the needs you might have. I take time to be with the animals (if they want it), play, sit, and provide activities or exercise, like walking and playing with toys.

About: I’ve grown up around all sorts of animals. I’ve had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, birds, turtles, mice, and chickens! No matter the size, I’m up for the job! Starting in February, I will be stepping into a 9-5 role which has affected my client intake! While I would adore watching your beloved fur babies, please be sure that you and your fur crew are comfortable with a sitter that will be out 9-5 on weekdays. Weekends remain open! If you are comfortable with my 9-5 position, I am up for the job and can do overnights! I approach pet sitting with the mindset of meeting a pet where they’re at. If a pet seems timid and anxious, I will allow them to warm up to me however they feel comfortable. I will not force any connections with pets, and rather meet them where they’re at in their comfort. It’s very hard for some pets to adjust to a new caregiver, so I like to give them space to warm up and come to me when the time is right. I think it’s very important to keep their care as consistent as when their owners are around! It’s hard enough having their owners out of the house, but hey lady my dinner is late! I like to make sure they still have consistency during these times to make things just that much easier.

About: Hello! I am Mia, a PhD student at Purdue University studying astrobiology. I have always had a passion for animals and have been a WAG/Rover walker and sitter for 6 years. As a kid I would beg my parents for a dog, and never got one, but I believe that is what keeps me constantly entertained by them! I became the neighborhood "petsitter" in my early high school years and have taken care of pets ranging from dogs to parrots. Along with that I was a collegiate cross country runner so I could walk your dogs for as long as they want, I wont get tired! Flexible, I am a student and a researcher so my availability can vary but for the most part I can be pretty flexible and do work on my own schedule I prefer to dog sit at my clients home because I have a small apartment with no backyard and I’m near a very busy street:)

About: I’ve grown up with dogs ever since I was a little kid. I had 2 childhood dogs and currently have 3 dogs back in my home state of Illinois, one Labrador and two mixes. I absolutely love dogs and know what’s required to keep dogs happy and healthy! Pretty much the only animals I don’t love are bugs, and I have pet sit for neighbors back home and watched dogs, cats, and even rabbits! I am currently a full time graduate student at Purdue, but with most of my classes being online, it offers me quite a bit of flexibility during the week. Recently I have also started working weekends, typically 7 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. This can make weekends a bit difficult to schedule, but I’m always happy to spend the rest of the day with any pet! Unfortunately, I am unable to care for pets in my own home at this time as my lease does not allow animals of any kind.
